The dragon's harem - Chapter 1784: Are You Getting Along?

Chapter 1784: Are You Getting Along?
When Sally and Merida clashed, it was like two natural disasters had occurred at the same time. Two demon lords, each having a more harrowing power than the other.
Sally, the Demon Lord of Rot, controlled the process of decay and breakdown of living matter, rotting. At the start, Merida thought that her body was a rotten corpse, but the very nature of her power allowed her to avoid that.
By having a demonic body, training it to the utmost limit, then breaking through all of her limits thanks to rot, Sally could exhibit the monstrous strength and speed usually seen in undead zombies without needing to become one.
On top of that, she directly controlled her rot demonic magic to wither away her enemies. Regular humans would rot away just by sensing her presence, and even powerful demons would turn into foul piles of meat in her proximity.
To emphasize the potency of her demonic magic, if Aella were to stand twenty meters away from her, she would rot away and die in less than two seconds. Out of the twelve demon lords Kali called, she was the most dangerous due to the nature of her power.
But as with all demons, that is just the start of her power. Back in the meeting room, when Arad sensed her threat and stood behind her, she didn’t just pull her pants down out of fear, nor was it a sign of submission. Touch allows her to deliver more power through her rot demonic magic, and that effect was even more potent when getting inside her own body, where no other magic can dominate beside hers.
She expected Arad to stick it in, then die instantly as his entire body rots into nothing. Until now, the only one who could directly touch her and survive was Kali herself, whose body is immune to all destruction and cannot be destroyed.
So that begs the question, why is this woman in front of her still alive? Sally wondered as both of her arms were shattered from Merida’s kick.
In that second of slowed time, all of Sally’s senses went to overdrive as she tried to figure out Merida’s secrets. The woman had a perfect, beautiful, and well-built body. All of her muscles were visible, her curves well defined, her arms and legs were long, and her skin was silky smooth, but still as solid as sheet metal.
Sally regenerated both of her arms in the blink of an eye and jumped right back into battle with enchanted demonic magic. If one punch couldn’t put Merida down, then five would do. In this vast mountain peak where nothing but hot water and stone existed, the humidity and moisture only helped her rot spread faster.
At that moment, Sally had long since abandoned her rotten corpse’s look in favor of a more durable, far superior body. Her rot demonic magic allowed her to control rot, not be dominated by it. If she wanted, she could walk as a rotting corpse, which would help her better spread her rot but have weaker physical states, or do the opposite, reverse the rot to gain a healthy body, heal wounds, and gain superior physical strength by constantly breaking her body’s limit and repairing the damage.
When not consumed by rot, she looked hauntingly beautiful with a tall but thin build, porcelain skin, pale grey eyes, and black hair as long as her hips. She ran at blinding speed, circulated around Merida, dodged a punch, and grabbed her by the wrist.
Usually, this would’ve ended the fight; one touch is lethal, but not against Merida.
Merida twisted her wrist, used Sally’s strength against her, then jumped into the air, wrapped her thighs around her neck, and suplexed her to the ground with a single, powerful twist of her torso.
When Sally found her skull cracked open, her neck shattered between Merida’s crushing thighs, and her face flattened beneath her butt, she had to rethink her strategy. So, using her monstrous strength, she brought her knee crashing down and smacked Merida in the face, pushing her away and getting a moment of respite.
Sally’s head regenerated with ease, and so did Merida’s crushed nose. But something seemed off. When demons regenerate, they usually use either their blood or demonic magic to do it. In Sally’s case, she is using both her natural demonic regeneration and a reversed form of her rot to heal herself.
“That’s a strange way of healing. I sense more than just demonic magic being involved.” Sally stood and started to walk toward Merida. Merida did the same, walking forward without a sign of bloodlust or anger.
As they stood just a meter from each other, they both took a second to look at each other. Sally wasn’t the only one confused here; Merida was as well. She never expected this demon lord to be able to deal so much damage to her. She knew when to press on, and when to calm down and take a careful approach.
Each time Sally touched her, Merida would feel immense pain as her entire body rots away. But in that fraction of a second, too short for the eye to see, her regeneration would kick in and repair the damage before it could even show up.
The rot demonic magic caused her cells to rot away, but her regeneration always replaces them faster than they could be destroyed. As long as Kino, Merida’s fungus second half, was still alive and safe in her Abyss layer, she would never die. To kill either of them, they must be both destroyed.
But that didn’t make her invulnerable. She was still susceptible to pain, albeit she could endure a lot of it with ease, and she would eventually run out of demonic magic and die.
As neither of them knew how to kill the other, they were forced to stop and think. Raw strength and speed alone won’t take this fight anywhere, and would only cause them endless pain and agony.
“Won’t you answer my question?” Sally looked at Merida with a smile. “You’re violent, but you don’t strike me as the unreasonable wild beast type.” She reached forward and touched Mira’s shoulder, sending a wave of her demonic magic through.
Merida felt as if her entire body was on a rotten tooth, but that pain was nowhere near enough to faze her. She reached forward and thrust a finger into Sally’s chest. From that finger, buds of her mycelium started spreading through Sally’s body to take over.
Sally smiled as she could feel the spreading fungus ravage her organs one after another, but her rot was powerful enough to keep it in check.
Their powers are different, but they worked in a similar way, making it even clearer why Sally, the Demon Lord of Rot, had wanted to kill and steal Merida’s powers.
“What are you two doing? Getting along?” Arad suddenly appeared by their side and wrapped them within his wide arms in a hug, pressing them on each other.
“Not at all, your instincts are what I love about you.” He gave her a deep and long kiss, and she grabbed his flesh with her hands and started stroking it. Sally, who was stuck in the hug, felt weird, staring at the two up close, and even could feel Arad’s flesh rubbing between her and Merida’s bellies.
“I’m still here.” She spoke, and Merida looked at her. “Oh, right. I’ll kill you right away.”
