The dragon's harem - Chapter 1787: He Is Scary

Chapter 1787: He Is Scary
Aloe growled with a tired face, glaring at Zephyr, who just asked her to become a Spirit Queen in the newly formed world inside Arad’s stomach. She didn’t hate the title, but the place. Spirits take a lot of pride in their life and domain, so living inside his world, which seemed like a fake replica of a real one, felt like an insult.
She might not be as powerful as Zephyr herself, but she can still clash with the other Queens on even ground. She was on the same power level as Undine and Salamander, albeit Zephyr couldn’t tell who would win if Salamander and Aloe clashed; for Undine, she was a cut above those two.
After thinking about it for more than a minute, Aloe finally sighed. “Fine, at least I’m not the only one who will be stuck in that place.” She quickly threw a glance at Kali, knowing well that she brought her here for that reason. Her fate was sealed the moment she agreed to her deal.
“You call it a place, but my world isn’t that bad. It’s quite nice in fact.” Arad stared at her for a long while before taking a deep sigh. “What is your problem with it anyway? All of them didn’t like it at first, except Zephyr.”
Aloe rubbed her temples, then took a deep breath. “You don’t need to compare us to that shameless and crazed queen. Zephyr is powerful enough that she could do whatever she wants. Power doesn’t corrupt, it brings the true side of people, as society cannot shackle them anymore.”
She then glared at Zephyr, “What could we have done to her? Put her in jail? Dethrone her? I tried the latter but I ended up kicked out of the world, and you can’t put in jail someone who has every living being as a hostage.” She sighed, finally going out of breath. “If we press her too much, she can just cancel her expansion and let everyone suffocate.”
Aloe stared at him, then her frown grew even deeper. “We spirits feed off mana, the natural mana. If we’re to live inside a world that is located inside you, we’ll be feeding on the mana inside your stomach, which isn’t all that appetizing.”
She then flew to Arad’s face and whispered. “Imagine being asked to live in the stomach of a giant and living off the half-digested crap in his intestine. That would suck. That is the same here, you’re asking me to live off the mana in your stomach.”
Zephyr looked at them, then smiled. “Spirits are really particular about the mana they consume. It is like air for humans. They won’t be happy living in a stinky place. But I would call Aloe a bit of a hypocrite. I’m pretty sure the Abyss’s mana is fouler.”
Kali laughed in the back. “The Abyss isn’t like your world; it is natural. But I would say she loves demonic mana, especially the one stained with my destruction. But alas, I’m a god, and Arad isn’t.”
Arad nodded, “If that is the case, won’t having Eris as the sun solve that problem?”
“Who is Eris?” Aloe looked at him, and he smiled. “One of my wives, a goddess of murder, and a part of Amaterasu’s pantheon. The sun in my world is her heaven.”
Aloe paled for a moment. “Hold up!? You got a goddess locked up here? And one of Amaterasu’s goons? How come she didn’t rip your head off yet?”
Kali looked at him, “The sun is her true form. Aloe, you won’t mind living in a world where a god lives as well.” She leaned forward and looked at Arad with a smug smile. “Pull them out, the ones you’re still hiding.”
Aloe stared at her and giggled. “What? His meat is already sticking out. He doesn’t have more hidden, does he?”
Kali smiled. “He does have three more, but that isn’t what I meant.” As Kali said that, Arad stared lifted his hand, and the Demon Lord of Lust cried. “Wait! He has four! Where are the rest! SHOW ME!”
Above Arad’s palm, five orbs of light emerged, and Aloe paled, cried, and jumped back. All of the demon lords stood in panic, and even the Demon Lord of Lust stopped being horny and got serious for a second.
“Why do you have those?!” The Demon Lord of Illusions cried. She wanted to believe this was just a trick, but she could clearly tell this was the reality. “Why do you have four portfolios?”
Above Arad’s hand, the portfolio of the four seasons floated; right now, it was chopped up into four pieces: summer, autumn, winter, and spring.
“It was just one, I chopped it into four.” Arad replied and the demon lords paled even further.
“You can’t just chop down a portfolio, it doesn’t work like that!” Sally cried. “Do you know the value, power, and importance of what you carry?”
As Arad looked at her with a confused face, Kali laughed. “How long are you girls going to stare? That is one portfolio, but he had more before. He had even killed the god of war, fighting, and violence.” She lifted her leg and got her foot out of the water, unleashing a wave of demonic magic that forced all of the demon lords to their knees.
“You understand how powerful he is, but you don’t seem to have fully grasped the extent of his power.” She then lowered her foot. “You’ll need time to understand, but for now, take my word for it. He is him, the one above all. Or do you think I’ll be shaking my ass to anyone?”
Aloe sighed. “Fine, fine, I won’t complain.” It might be worth it.
With that being said, Arad slowly lowered himself into the water and sighed. “Finally, time to relax a bit.” Merida shamelessly lowered herself onto his lap, turned around, and started licking his chest and abs, and rubbing herself on his flesh. Seeing her, the Demon Lord of Lust started to get hungrier.
He threw a glance at Merida, smiled, then shifted his gaze to Zephyr, “What are you going to do now?”
“I’ll go help Aella with whatever she needs me for, and then I’ll check on Yuwaku. It seems that she is quickly getting used to her powers.” She flew away and disappeared in a puff of green winds.
“Aella is the elf from earlier. Who is Yuwaku?” Aloe looked at Arad, and he replied with a passive face. “My daughter.”
Aloe shrugged, imagining Yuwaku as a buff and huge woman, more similar to Arad or the Demon Lord of Wrath. “I hope she takes after her mother rather than you.” She thought that Yuwaku was Aella’s daughter.
