The First Legendary Beast Master - Chapter 1560 Villa

Chapter 1560 Villa
Karl listened in as he worked on the apartment and the final changes to the Tiny World.
Thor had a point. It would likely be possible to transfer the position to one of his children. He could feel in their energy that they had some compatibility with his space.
But it wouldn’t be necessary.
He could feel that Thor was beginning to grow more quickly as his space changed, so he was going to hit Peak Mythic Rank within the next few months.
Once he did, it would be a matter of Remi finding the right potion to break the bottleneck, and he would make Immortality.
Thor fully understood the Fundamental Rule of Lightning, Karl could see it right there in his interface. It wasn’t comprehension holding him back, it was a bloodline that wasn’t meant to advance this far.
For that reason alone, Thor was going to need some time to advance.
Even with the advantages of Karl’s Class.
Thor’s words did make Karl smile, though. Was a position as a bonded partner something that you could pass down to your kids? Thor certainly thought that it should be.
But in a Cerro pack, the Elders became weak eventually, and they would slow the pack down, so it was only natural for a new generation to take over eventually.
Not out of disrespect, but because it was their time to lead the pack to glory, the same as their ancestors had.
The apartment was becoming a glorious mansion thanks to [World Crafting], now that Karl had put in the work to beautify it, and he had done a full rustic cabin second floor for guests, while the extension of the actual bedroom was done to Dana’s preference with [All Things Are Pets] and [Reality Warp] on the [Illusionary Domain].
The only thing left to do was to inscribe all these designs onto an item so that they would be permanent, even when he wasn’t here to maintain them.
With everything active, it wasn’t hard to stay focused on the runes and how to form them, he just needed to use Immortal Ranked [Earth Manipulation] to create a gemstone to carve them into.
The real trick was to carve the runes at such an incredibly tiny size that they would not be able to be clearly read by most viewers, without messing up the line work and other aspects needed to properly implement them.
That would also allow him to put the entire villa, as he was calling the small illusionary world, onto a stone the size of a chicken egg.
It would be easy to carry, move around, and then pass down when it came time to update their space.
The room already had incredibly potent barriers around it, but Karl did make sure that there were extra runes to prevent spying, and to prevent people from leaving anywhere but through the front door, just in case.
He already had Opal, they didn’t need any other Immortals or spies peeking in on their daily activities.
His ability to visualize runes was far superior to what it had been before, and he could do entire spells worth of the work in a single thought, compressing them into a tiny patch of magical rune work before moving on around the orb. With everything in place, Karl was quite certain that the item was exactly what he needed it to be, but he had a new spell that really needed testing.
[Breath of the World] involved actually breathing World Dragon breath on the item as it was being completed, a feat only possible thanks to the skill in his current form.
{Item Created} [Illusionary Villa] Immortal Rank, Totem Grade. Creates a hidden resting space surrounded in a durable defensive barrier. May be activated as a visible property instead of a separate space.
With the item now complete, Karl activated the separate space linked to their room, then stepped outside to see how the effect was from the outside.
The effect was simple, but the barrier that was over the room now made it nearly undetectable even to Karl’s senses, even with the door open.
That was going to be a huge advantage in the future.
Not because he wanted to hide his apartment from anyone. It was expected that anyone with power would upgrade their home. But because he could make more of these stones, perhaps at a lower grade, with only the basic functions of hiding the house and the defensive barrier, for sale to the Clan.
They could hand them out to travelling groups, who could use them as a luxury travel tent of sorts.
If he skipped on the little details like the magical resources in the garden, the extra strength mana gathering arrays, the badger girls in maid outfits exploring as they cleaned…
Wait, he didn’t add that to the spell.
Cara laughed as her plan succeeded. A bit of her own influence as he activated the spell added the maids to the space, all modelled after her own humanoid
form.
They would do the same job as the gargoyles that Karl had put in the garden, but they were infinitely cooler. Plus, you would always have to guess what was in the juice when they brought you something to drink.
Karl chuckled at her inner dialogue. The maids were just maids, they wouldn’t hurt anyone. It was against the rules embedded in the spells. But seeing that they were all Chaos Badgers would make anyone else at least a little nervous.
A great way to deter unwanted guests.
The bunny gargoyles that Karl had put in the garden stared at the Chaos Badgers for a moment, then shrugged and went back to their work.
Karl sat on a plush leather sofa in the living room and started to make another Villa Stone. It was a greatly simplified version, relying on [Illusionary Domain] and [Reality Warp] without getting into [World Crafting] or [All Things Are
Pets].
Those two spells, plus an application of [Breath of the World] at the very end, created a much more limited magical stone, closer in size to a quail egg. But it was still an Immortal Rank, Totem Grade item.
There was no way that the Clan Hall would turn these down once they saw
them.
The interior was in the local style, a wooden Pagoda with a small yard and training area. But there were beds for ten to sleep comfortably, and a full kitchen, with utensils.
