The First Legendary Beast Master - Chapter 1612 To Entertain

Chapter 1612 To Entertain
By the time that they gathered in the Tiny World, the majority of the residents, including the rescued group from the failed invasion of their home world, had gathered to greet them.
“Karl, good to see you again. The Tiny World is looking good these days. The changes you’ve made are incredible. This place feels so much more complete than it used to, and we’re starting to see our first Immortal Rank blooms in the crops.” One of the older Elves greeted him.
He noted that she had clearly just thrown on clothing for their arrival because she had only done up the top button to hold it in place, fully intending to take it back off again when they were finished.
Why she didn’t equip it from her inventory was a mystery, unless it was a handmade piece that wasn’t system linked.
They had people with the tailoring skill, so System Linked clothing wasn’t out of reach.
“It’s great to see you all doing well. I see that some of our newer arrivals are coming along well in your training as well. The System recognizes their Class, and I can feel the change in power level, even though they were already technically Mythic.”
They all looked exceedingly happy with their progress, and Karl noticed that the long-term occupants were not weak anymore either.
Most of them were either at or getting close to Totem Rank, and even Lotus was about to break through to Mythic. The influx of Immortal Realm mana was doing the same to them as it had done to the group who had been dumped out into the middle of the invasion.
The difference was that they had a Class, and as they advanced, they could keep advancing.
They wouldn’t be stuck in a powerful body with zero actual capability.
In a way, that was similar to the children that Leo went to school with. They were Immortals, but not in the way that would matter if they got into a fight with an adult Immortal.
Lotus ran over to hug Dana, and then stole Tian from her arms, so she could bury her face in his fur.
“Ah, that’s what I needed.”
Tessa cleared her throat. “We’ve got a big feast going already, so no need for more dishes. We’ve been working to improve the variety in our diets lately. I know that some of us are happy to have the same meals every day, but it’s better for both the environment and our stomachs if we add some variety.”
Button grumbled in dissatisfaction. “All I said was that it would be nice to have a third breakfast burrito day during the week.”
As Karl recalled, the other option on burrito day was fruit filled pancakes, one of Lotus’ favourites.
She certainly wouldn’t have been the one to complain.
“Well, if we start getting more centralized, there could be a buffet option. I know that the Academies do it that way, but if the Red Dragons are running them, the only breakfast option might be oatmeal.”
Tessa laughed. None of their Red Dragons were that strict with the diets for the young ones. Even breakfast usually had some sort of meat with it, though rice and beans were a side dish for every single meal after breakfast.
They weren’t willing to let go of that one.
“What brings you here today? Is there a special occasion?”
“Not particularly. But we can make it one.
Why don’t I go over to the egg clutches and give them a little bit of blessing as
the Avatar of the World Dragon? That should get them growing strong and healthy, and they might even hatch a bit early.” Karl suggested.
The dragons looked mildly horrified at the thought.
“I’m not sure it’s wise to interfere with the development of a dragon egg” Bertie, one of their resident Red Dragon caretakers, noted.
“It’s a blessing by a Dragon God, what could go wrong?”
“Well, when you put it that way, it doesn’t sound nearly as bad. But I still get the feeling that there are going to be side effects that you haven’t considered.”
That was almost definitely true.
Because Karl had not stopped to consider the side effects at all.
Button raised her hand. “Why don’t we have him test on the Desert Dragon Eggs? They don’t have a perfect environment here. They have a good one, but not as hot as they’d normally like.
They’re also one of the weaker sub-dragons.
If any of them could use the help, it’s the Desert Dragons.”
That was remarkably sound logic from the little Forest Dragon. Start with the weakest first, as they would be the smallest loss if the technique didn’t work. Then they could move up through the other clutches.
Raist, the silver dragon, smiled as he waited for Karl to start his work.
The Silver Dragons followed the God of Magic, and there was nothing more interesting to them than seeing powerful magic in action. Any magic, really.
Unlike the blue dragons, they didn’t seek knowledge for the sake of knowledge, but they did love every sort of magic, and most especially new magic. If there was a spell that he had never seen used before, he had to be there.
“Alright, dinner first and then we can start seeing all the new magic.”
Tian giggled as Lotus’ face tickled his belly.
{I can show you magic before dinner. I learned new magic.}
“Show us, show us!”
Tian floated out of her arms and brought out his zither to play an alluring tune
that caught the attention of everyone in the Tiny World.
[Fox God Charm] washed over everyone’s minds, finding no enemies to enthrall, but setting everyone else’s minds at ease and building an affinity for
the tiny fox.
That was perfect. Not only did it bring all his new friends over for dinner, it put
them all in a good mood as well.
Music really was the way to warm the heart of the people.
