The First Legendary Beast Master - Chapter 1613 Karl's Memory Sucks

Chapter 1613 Karl’s Memory Sucks
More of the residents of the Tiny World arrived for the dinner service, and that was Tian’s cue to change to a more upbeat song, instead of charming everyone and distracting them from their meal.
“You know, this isn’t half bad. We’ve got a lovely fox playing for us, Mystic Cooking created food, all the high-class ingredients we could ask for.
Though I suppose that isn’t special to you, living in the Immortal Realms.” Ophelia noted.
“Actually, a lot of what we eat comes from the pantry here. Someone has been on a baking binge, so we just sneak snacks.” Karl corrected.
The Werebear laughed. “That’s Lotus. She’s convinced that if she doesn’t keep the pantry full, there is a chance she will run out. There are a lot of people in the space now, and she is the only one who devotes herself entirely to the creation of sweets and snacks.
But why not use the Immortal ingredients that you have available there?”
Karl shrugged. “As far as food goes, the difference between Mythic and Immortal isn’t that large. The type of energy is different, but our bodies can convert it easily enough.
Or, mine can.
So, it’s not a big loss to eat what’s here instead of pushing myself to use only the highest quality magical resources.
There are many of the Clan members who do feel that way, and only eat to gain as much energy as possible. But there are also those who simply love cupcakes.
I know that it will be a while before anyone here is ready to reach Tribulation, but I am not convinced that it will be hindered by the food.
If anything, you’ve got the advantage, with everyone eating [Mystic Cooking] created dishes every day. In most of the Mortal worlds, that’s not a thing.
However, if you’d like, we can purchase and transplant more Immortal World plants here for you to cultivate.
That might give you a boost.”
“That might be acceptable. If you pick up Immortal crops, we will harvest them along with everything else.
The Guild Members have been quite pleased with the resources we have been sending back, and have only had minimal complaints about the change.” “Complaints?” Dana asked.
Ike, the blue dragon Librarian sent to the Tiny World to record the experiment with the baby dragons, patted her on the shoulder with a sad smile.
“Minor ones. Things like complaining about us leaving Sapphire in charge of the Mythic Dungeon teams, or that we only have three classes among our new Myths. Things like that.
Personally, I think that they got spoiled having you as a tank.
However, one of the Beast Rangers got a skill that let them bond a second beast, and that’s going to be great when they find the right beast.”
All the Beast Rangers that Karl had advanced from the Myths who had come from the Immortal Invasion had bonded with damage type beasts, not something that would be good for a main tank.
But most beasts didn’t want to be the main tank anyhow, it wasn’t as efficient as having a Warrior do it.
Still, they had the Shamans for healing, the Beast Rangers for damage, and the Assassins, who could do both damage and crowd control. It wasn’t a bad combination.
It gave the warriors a purpose in life.
“You could make us an updated Trial Ground in the Tiny World, and then we could push our power up toward the Immortal Rank more quickly!” One of the Shamans suggested.
“That’s actually not a bad idea.
I’ve been holding off until I’m a bit further through the Immortal Realm progression so that you’re not getting opponents who can only be slightly
stronger than you.
But soon I’ll be able to give you a good enough trial to help you level right to tribulation.” Karl agreed.
“Other than that, things are well. Both in the Alliance and in the Guild.
Our crafters are doing exceptionally well lately, and we’re beginning to turn out some Totem Rank items. That’s really helped our cash flow.
Or course, the ladies who are still in mortal ranks come to help out every few days as well.
Miss Ophelia is going to make the Totem Rank teams cry when she advances.” The blue dragon joked.
“Oh, that reminds me. I’ve got a gift for Nachtia as well. I keep forgetting to do the ritual to transfer it, but it’s gone inactive on me since I couldn’t fully use it.” Karl replied, reminding himself so he didn’t forget it again.
“A gift for me?” The black dragon asked.
“An inheritance from your Uncle. I was the only one around when he was advancing, but I couldn’t fully use it, so it’s still available”
“Well, don’t hold back. Lay it on me. Wait, let me put my drink down first.”
Thor nodded with a sage expression on his face. “That is the true Darklight Host way. The art of ‘hold my beer and let me try something. It is a time tested
path.”
Karl at the Behemoth’s joke, but Thor wasn’t wrong.
Instead of replying, he focused on the Black Dragon Inheritance that was
lingering in his mind, and then targeted it at Nachtia.
Keeping it coherent as he pushed it through his mana flows and out his hand as
he patted Nachtia on the head was not easy. However, the moment that the first threads of the Inheritance touched her, the whole thing coalesced and
surged into the more suitable target.
Nachtia’s power surged, and she began to transform.
Dana used [Levitation] to lift her into the air, so she didn’t knock over the food
as her dragon form fused with the inheritance and expanded.
She was receiving a massive influx of power from her family lineage, and what Karl could tell was favour from her deity.
The Black Dragon God’s essence was unmistakable, and Karl knew that feeling
of divine attention very well, after having been warned multiple times about his fondness for small dragons.
