The First Legendary Beast Master - Chapter 1619 Edit The Tiny World

Chapter 1619 Edit The Tiny World
Karl made himself comfortable as he began the work of editing the whole Tiny World without causing anything to destabilize.
He knew that the normal way would be to completely reset the Tiny World spell and reconstruct it from scratch, but there was so much in here, so many living things, and not just the people, that it simply wasn’t practical.
If he could make a second space and then move everyone, it would be a different story, but as things stood, many of the plants wouldn’t even survive outside of the Tiny World, and they would take forever to transplant into the Beast Space, even if they could find space for them.
They probably could, as the spaces expanded so much at Immortal Rank.
But that was not the point.
The first part of the process, imbuing more of the Fundamental rules into the space, was easy.
They were close to matched with his understanding from the last time that he did a renovation on the space. So, he could quickly move on from that to improving the mana levels in the space. Karl made them more like the bedroom spaces in the Clan, where the mana had been optimized for growth.
The arrays were normally a pain to keep active outside, but here in the Tiny World, Karl just needed a way to get enough energy into the spell, and then he could make it self-sustaining.
The only issue was that if he made the space draw too much power, it would become obvious to others, even when hidden.
While it was simply sitting closed, it was largely stable and maintenance free.
But when he drew power out, or someone travelled back and forth, they took a bit of the power back with them, and without Immortals in the space it would not regenerate on its own.
The balance of the world relied on the innate energy production of the residents, and only mortals were living in the space full-time.
If Thor and the others spent more time in here, the energy that they regenerated while their mana pool was full would radiate out into the Tiny World, and keep it balanced.
But everyone had things to do, and their spaces were personalized, much more comfortable than the Tiny World for the beasts.
The rebalancing of the world around the adjusted Fundamental Rules was going smoothly, and Karl had the mana level set just right, so he moved on to the final stage.
Adding the new skill to the rules of the world.
That would be the most difficult part, as it was a System Skill, but he wanted to integrate it with the world, and not just create an artifact that would replicate the effect.
Fortunately, [Breath Of The World] was designed to be used while crafting. He might be altering a spell, not making a physical object in the traditional sense, but the spell was incredibly compatible with his efforts.
The hard part was making it into a passive buff for everyone in the space, and not a constantly active spell, which would drain a huge amount of mana.
Karl wove the spell through the Tiny World’s creation, and then adjusted it down, until it was more of a blessing added to the Tiny World than a separate effect.
That was perfect.
The final step was to add the ability to target creatures in the space for activation. That way, he could guarantee the activation when he needed it, like for all the Dragon Eggs.
They would most likely all advance without him doing anything else, now that the effect was active.
But forcing the effect would ensure success before they hatched, and the effect no longer mattered. The moment that they were hatched and sentient, the spell would no longer consider them a valid target.
Time always felt irrelevant when he was working like this, so it was no surprise when Karl opened his eyes, and it was dark again.
Instead of bothering anyone, he simply looked into the space, and observed the passive effect that his work was having on the Tiny World. But what he found was a whole series of surprises and Chaos.
One of the eggs was for a Sand Drake, and Karl knew that more than one of the Beast Rangers who had gained the ability to bond a second beast had been thinking of bonding it.
However, now it had evolved into a Sand Dragon, and hatched without warning not long after Karl put the effect in place.
That wasn’t really an issue. Many of the eggs were close to hatching, which was why Karl had wanted to do this now. The issue was that the dragon understood their intentions, and he was far too enthusiastic about picking his partner.
A partner who couldn’t bond him because the Beast Ranger Class was incapable of bonding dragons.
So, one very confused Beast Ranger was being pinned to the ground by a small tan coloured dragon who considered her his personal property. She wanted to bond him, he approved, and that made her his guardian.
He was absolutely certain of it, and no silly red dragon was going to tell him otherwise.
The Beast Ranger was an Obsession Demon, slender and agile, not at all physically designed to dislodge a thirty kilo dragon from her chest.
But her beast, one of the Dire Wolves that all the rescued slave Beast Rangers had chosen from, was on team dragon. Or, he just wanted to nap where the
warm dragon was.
Either way, it put him sprawled out across her chest.
However, that bit of chaos was not the most shocking thing that Karl saw in the
space.
The first egg to hatch could not compare to what he noticed in the room across the hall, where Thor was sleeping next to a cushion piled with mottled
green and red eggs.
Those looked rather large.
Tessa was not going to be happy with Karl when she saw him next. He should probably prepare a gift of some sort.
