The First Legendary Beast Master - Chapter 1641 The Right Spot

Chapter 1641 The Right Spot
“Someone bring the statue over, I think that I found that spot it is supposed to sit.” Karl called, knowing that there were golems everywhere right now. Surely, one of them could do the job.
The one who took the job was Remi’s bodyguard, who hefted the stone easily in his four arms, and simply shifted back to balance himself on his long serpentine body.
“Just place it right on the stone here after we clean up the bottom. Facing down the stairs, I think. That’s how the lion is facing”
The bodyguard holding the statue nodded, while the other used a tree branch to wipe the majority of the dirt and grime from the statue’s base. Once they were certain it would be good enough to set down, they worked together to settle it perfectly onto its former home.
Then, everything in the space shifted.
Mana began to flow back into the space, as if it had been stored somewhere.
The plants began to show signs of life again, which had Remi excited that there might be something that they missed.
And then, with an ominous creaking, the doors at the other end of the stone path opened, revealing a demonic hellscape.
For a few seconds, nothing happened.
Then, an entire unit of armed Wrath Demons in what looked like police uniforms rushed in.
“Drop your weapons! This area is under quarantine by the order of the Council of Hell!” The Guard Commander shouted.
“And, that’s our cue.” Dana whispered to Karl.
The beasts grabbed the other team members, and shifted everyone into the Tiny World along with Dana. However, when Karl tried to leave, he hit a barrier. “You might have been able to extract your team members to your separate space, but don’t think that you’re getting out of your cell, Fallen Lord. No matter what face you put on, you’re not getting out of your cell.”
Karl frowned. “Look very closely. I’m not a Demon Lord at all. I’m not even a Demon.”
“I won’t fall for your tricks. Who else could have taken his allies from this space?”
“An Avatar of the World Dragon?” Karl offered.
The Demon frowned. That was actually plausible. The World Dragon’s Avatars tended to go wherever they pleased, like Green Dragon Clerics on steroids. “Have you any proof that you’re an Avatar of the World Dragon?”
“Do you have the ability to see System Titles? If not, I will transform and show you.”
The Demon shrugged. “What use do the powerful have for a System?”
“You know, you’ve actually got a point. If you’re this strong already, then you don’t really need it. Fine, I can provide proof.”
Karl activated [Avatar] and transformed, using [Behemoth] to expand the size of his dragon form, then unleashed [Breath Of The World] along with the innate breath of a World Dragon on the trees behind him.
The Demons conferred silently for a few seconds, then nodded.
“We agree. You are not the Demon Lord who was imprisoned here.
Please come peacefully, you are under arrest for trespassing, and suspected of freeing a prisoner from the cells. Kindly change back to a noncombat form for transport.”
Karl sighed as the guards cast a restraining spell over him, but decided to change to Cat Demon form.
Today was going to be a long day.
The guards surrounded him, and Karl was led through the newly opened door and into the demonic realm, where he found himself in a prison corridor full of Demons in black and white striped outfits, as if the prison had just gone for every possible prison stereotype.
Or perhaps it was the other way around? The stereotypes that he knew from the Golden Dragon Nation as a child might have evolved from teachings about this place.
He was led down the halls, and into a waiting room surrounded by holding cells mostly full of Succubi.
“Am I being given a reward? Because I will have you know that I’m a happily married man.” Karl warned them.
“What?
No, you’re not getting a reward, you idiot.
What is wrong in your head that you would even consider going into those cells with a bunch of Lust Demons who were arrested for draining their partners to
death?”
“What a way to go, though, right?”
The Demons in the cells howled with laughter at the strange new convict.
A moment later, Carnage came out in blue pants that clashed horribly with his blood-red skin, sporting a badge hung on a gold chain over his bare chest.
“Who is the World Dragon Avatar?” He demanded.
“That would be me. Lord Carnage, it’s an honour to see you in person. This is in
person, right? Not a clone or magical duplicate?” Karl asked.
“Yep, that’s a World Dragon Avatar.” The big Wrath Demon decided.
“Follow me into the interrogation room. We have a lot to discuss. Like how
you’re wearing my gloves, but they’re still in my pocket.”
“We can swap if you want.”
“Get in the fucking room.”
“I certainly hope that there is going to be no fucking in that room.”
“NOW!”
The Demons in the holding cells were howling with laughter as Karl waved goodbye and followed Carnage into the interrogation room.
He took a seat across from the much larger Demon, and then used Leo’s nature magic to create a vine to pull the coffee pot and two cups over to him.
“Do you take your coffee black, or mixed?”
“I can tell already that I am going to hate having you here.”
“We can have a fight later if you’d like? Burn off some aggression. I’m not bad at
it, and if we go unarmed, my regeneration should keep up long enough to make
it interesting.”
That made Carnage smile.
He was a Legendary Demon. If Karl could take even one punch from him, it
would totally undermine his authority within the prison. But he still wanted to
punch him.
He really wanted to punch him.
“First, explain to me how you got into that prison cell, and where the Demon
Lord went.”
