After going through the available list of Branch Metacs for the Dual Cultivation Pathway, he came to the conclusion that the Dual Cultivation Pathway is not an inherently violent pathway. He realized that it was a pathway for having sex, and the Reversal Metac was an oddity in the pathway.

What the Dual Pathway could do aside from having sex was attack the mind so as to have sex with them. But the Mind Hunter Pathway was better at mental attacks because it had more Branch Metacs, and the Branch Metacs were also of higher rank.

The Branch Metacs of the Dual Cultivation stopped at rank 3, so even if they were better at mental attacks, they couldn’t make use of their advantage compared to the Branch Metacs of the Mind Hunter Pathway, which reached rank 5.

This situation made him consider replacing the Dual Cultivation Pathway with something with more useful Branch Metacs. But after thinking about it, he decided not to go through with it.

He shook his head and said, “The Reversal Metac is too valuable to lose. Besides, it still has some Branch Metacs that can be used to speed up cultivation and to acquire information from a target through sex. That should count for something.”

“What I should be worried about and thinking of replacing is the Space Tear Metac. That pathway doesn’t have a single Branch Metac. So if the Branch Metacs of the Dual Cultivation Pathway don’t count and are useless, the entire Space Pathway will be worse than useless.”

After coming to this conclusion, he placed his hand on his chin as he thought to himself, “But what should I replace the Space Pathway with?”

“I already have a pathway for the body, mind, and will. So, what I should get next should fill in the slot for using my will for power, which the Space Tear Metac was responsible for, or I should get a pathway that uses the soul.”

“It should also be a pathway that can preserve the power of the Space Tear Metac when I fuse it with it. Lastly, it should be a Pathway that I can fuse with my other ones for power. This will further limit what pathway I can use.”

“I should take time to think about it. There is too much to lose if I rush it and make a mistake.

Since he had decided on the criteria to use to select his new pathway, he began buying the Branch Metacs that he needed for now.

As for the matter of replacing the Space Pathway, he only thought about it for now. It was what his mind was doing while he purchased Branch Metacs.

“For a pathway that utilizes the soul for power, the Death Pathway is the main one. But their Core Metac is the Corpse Control Metac. I doubt the Corpse Control Metac will fuse well with the Space Tear Metac.”

“Besides, the Dual Cultivation Metac also has some Metacs that can affect the soul. I should make use of them instead of looking for the Death Pathway for it.”

“Lastly, it is unlikely that the Death Pathway will work together with the Forging Pathway and the Dual Cultivation. So I will have a better chance of fusing the Reversal Metac with a Core Metac of the Death Pathway.”

He has had a lot of experience fusing Metacs to create Divine Metacs, so he has a sort of intuition for which Metacs will be compatible with each other.

From his experience, in the fusion between a base Metac that is the original Metac and a second Metac that will replace the base Metac, the outcome of the fusion between the two Metacs is mostly based on the second Metac.

The case of the creation of the Reversal Metac is a good example of this. The original Metac was the Danger Sense Metac, while the second Metac was the Beautiful Woman Metac.

The result of that fusion was a Divine Metac of the Dual Cultivation Pathway. Since the job of the Beautiful Woman Metac was how to convert a man into a beautiful woman, in order to become Divine Metac, which is something new, it took this function to convert things as the foundation, but changed the target of conversion from man to danger.

The same thing had also happened during the fusion of the Space Freeze and the Telepathy Metac to produce the Mind Freeze Metac. The final product was a Divine Metac of the Mind Hunter pathway, but it relied heavily on the function of the Space Freeze Metac, too.

This is why he believes that the Reversal Metac will have a better output fusing with the Death Pathway than the Space Tear Metac fusing with the Death Pathway. After all, the outcomes are between a Divine Metac that can reflect death or a corpse Divine Metac that can tear space.

After coming to this conclusion, he said to himself, “Frankly, the best pathways for fusion with the Space Tear Metac are the Strength Pathway, the Sword Pathway, and the Killing Pathway.”

“The Strength Pathway will strengthen my body and work together with the forging pathway. Plus, if it is fused with the Giant Bones Core Metac, it can lead to the creation of a Divine Metac that can help me tear apart and destroy anything I touch.”

“As for the Sword Pathway, it is good in that it can be combined with the Forging Pathway, it can resist curses, and it has a lot of Branch Metacs. Plus, the fusion of the Sword Heart Core Metac can create a Divine Metac for a sword that can tear space.”

Then he shook his head and said, “The only disadvantage of the Sword Pathway is that it is too limited to using a sword. A sword is rigid and will limit what I can use the new Metac for.”

“Fortunately, there is the Killing Pathway. There is more freedom in the Killing Pathway.”
