In order to achieve his goal of relying on the Mind Hunter Pathway, he expanded the kinds of Branch Metacs to buy. The fact that the offering of Branch Metacs was more diverse here also encouraged him to do this.

He got the usual Mind Stab Metac and the Mind Shield Metac. But he also got the Mind Spike Metac, Mind Bomb Metac, Mind Node Metac, Sensory Hijack, and the Mind Network Metac.

It was after he got these ones that he bothered to get the Hypnotize Metac, the Memory Read Metac, the Thought Reading Metac, the Concentration Metac, and the Quintuplet Mind Metac.

When he returned to the sect grounds, he heard some people talking about the Heavenly Battlefield that was being held this month. From what he heard as he passed by, he learned that a Heavenly Battlefield is usually held every month, but the sect prepares for it two months ahead of time.

There were three of them talking with each other. Two of them were men, and the last one was a woman.

Instead of replying, they examined warily for a while. After they were sure that he didn’t plan to attack them, they decided to answer his question.

The woman was the one who replied. She said, “I heard that more than 66% of the people from our sect who went died.”

This made him say, “So more than 66 of us died? That doesn’t sound so bad.”

One of the men, the one with the black hair, chuckled and said, “You do know that means two in three soldiers died, right?”
