Loki’s heart sank when he heard this. Then he cursed inwardly and said to himself, ’Damn it!’

The divine being from the Four Directions Sect, whom he was supposed to give the symbol of authority, said to the new arrival, “Monarch Machine Body, what are you doing here? He just came out of the Heavenly Battlefield. How did you know that he possessed a Divine Metac of your pathway so quickly?”

The divine humanoid robot said in reply, “I paid good money for this information. Someone thought that he was the reincarnation of a divine being and sold his information to me.”

“At first, I thought I was ripped off because he is clearly not the reincarnation of anything. He doesn’t even have a mental world. But I can tell that he does possess a Divine Metac of the Forging Pathway, so that’s fine too.”

The divine being of the Nexus of Truth Sect looked at Loki and wondered aloud, saying, “I do wonder how he managed to transform his Life Ability into a Divine Metac without even being at rank 5. Where did he get the resources to do something like that?”

Monarch Machine Body stared hungrily at Loki as he said, “You can find that out when you scour his mind. But I must get the Divine Metac first.”

The divine being of the Martial Body Sect said, “What a pity that his Divine Metac isn’t useful to me, or this would be my extra lucky day.”

The divine being from the Four Directions Sect sighed and said, “It is what it is. We can only be content with getting lucky enough to officiate this Heavenly Battlefield and stumbling onto this treasure.”

Then he turned to Monarch Machine Body, “It seems your strength will increase soon. But first, you must pay us a lot to get the Divine Metac from us.”

Monarch Machine Body snorted and said, “I already said that I will pay. I don’t intend to take it by force.”

“But I am in a hurry about this. I don’t want to waste too much time and draw too much attention to this.”

As they sucked on each other’s faces, the rank 5 cultivator’s hands roamed over the body of the other man, groping him all over. Finally, his hand settled on Amu’s buttocks and grabbed them tightly.

This made Amu giggle and say, “Someone seems to be anxious to take a bite out of Amu.”

The rank 5 money cultivator said in a deep voice, “I’ve been yearning for you day and night.”

Amu embraced the other man again as he said, “I was so scared that I would die and wouldn’t see you ever again.”

The man patted his buttocks again and said, “Don’t worry. It is all over. Daddy’s here.”

This sight didn’t affect the divine beings at all. In fact, they ignored it and only focused on Loki.

Loki was the one who was distracted by this scene. What he had just seen put a temporary pause on his actions. It was only a few seconds later that he realized his mistake of wasting time.

After getting over his shock, he said, “What the fuck?”

Then he committed suicide.

As Fenrir carried his consciousness away into the River of Time, what he had just saw flashed through his eye. The memory made him say to himself, ’Is this the daddy that Amu has been talking about? Is that why Fern despised and was full of disdain for him?’
