As he chuckled, he reached out to grab the natural wonder. Then he flew down to meet Lady Red.

In order to ensure that she wouldn’t die, he decided to deactivate the effect of the Bleed Metac. That way, the gaping hole in her chest stopped trying to kill her.

But in order to ensure that she wouldn’t be able to muster any will to resist and escape, he grabbed her head when he reached her. Then he activated the Memory Read Metac to search her mind for information.

As he did this, he said, “You can only blame yourself for having a Mental World. This is the only way I have to get information out of you, so you have to bear with it.”

Rank 5 cultivators have a Mental World, which shields their minds and thoughts. Their Mental World is like a shield, and it blocks mental influences like the Thought Reading Metacs.

So if he wants to get information from her, he can’t interrogate her and glean the truth from her thoughts. The only way for him to get information from her is to break into her Mental World by force.

As it is, breaking her Mental World was very easy to do. This was because the Sting Metac and the Weakness Metac had done a number on her mind.

When he gained access to her mind, he realized that even though he hadn’t used the overzealous Lightning Engine Metac in that attack, her Mental World was still damaged and full of cracks.

Of course, the cracks were not capable of destroying her mental world. At most, the cracks would sever the connection between her mental world and her body, which would effectively kill her. But her Mental World would still be capable of reincarnation.

This made him shake his head and say in wonder, “Reincarnation is truly a wonderful thing. I wonder who came up with this cultivation system.”

They hadn’t gone far when Lady Red jumped onto their airship, so they are still close to the world barrier. It took a while for Loki to cross a distance that he thought was safe enough. Then he dug a hole in the ground for them to hide in.

After securing safety in the ground, he took the multicolored stone and absorbed it into his energy well. The stone began to react with his energy well immediately. The two of them began to fuse.

This fusion was weird because Fenrir wasn’t devouring the natural wonder. It was more like the time Fenrir allowed the Life Ability to fuse with it. So Fenrir was being changed by this fusion, like that time.

Since his Mind Palace also reflected the changes going on in his energy well, the fusion of his energy well and the natural wonder was also reflected in his Mind Palace.

Normally, this reflection would be fake as the things in the Mind Palace are phantom copies of the things in his energy well. But the reflection of the natural wonder in his mind appeared to be real.

The reflection of the natural wonder was not a Grey white phantom object like the other Core and Branch Metacs in his mind. The reflection was solid and colorful, and shining with multicolored light. It was exactly the same as the one that he was fusing with his energy well.

The reflection of the fusion between his Mind Palace and the natural wonder also appeared to be real because it was causing real and permanent change in the Mind Palace.
