THE GOD EATER - Chapter 621: Triangle Formation.

Unfortunately for Craftman’s Hammer, he isn’t the only one who covets the Soul Hammer. They are other people that have been eyeing the new Divine Metac.

Some of these competitors gave up when he expressed interest in the Soul Hammer Metac. But two of them refused to back down so easily.

Monarch Crown of Metal and Monarch Heavy Anvil also want the Soul Hammer and were willing to him fight for it. So he will still have some competition for this new Divine Metac despite all of his grandstanding and posturing to scare off the other interested parties.

The three divine beings all came back to the Blessed Heaven World from wherever they were. Then the three of them appeared in the sky above Loki. They stood in a triangular formation with Loki at the center.

While this was going on, Loki completed the ascension process. As soon as this happened, his appearance changed from that of an ordinary man into that of a white phantom. The will of the world also announced his existence to the world.

His body rose into the air for everyone to see. As if this wasn’t enough, golden clouds appeared around him, and strange objects made of the golden clouds also appeared around him.

These strange objects were sometimes animals and sometimes objects. But they all revolved around him merrily to indicate his identity as the new divine being.

Unfortunately for him, he couldn’t enjoy his newly acquired power because he was immediately accosted by three divine beings. The three of them summoned their Cave Heavens and sealed off his escape route.

One of them was a bronze statue. He was carrying a large hammer, which he had swung over his shoulders.

The second one was a woman who looked pretty normal. The only oddity about her was the crown of metallic thorns on her head. The thorns were large and had sharp edges that made them look like small knives on her head.

The third divine being also looked normal. His appearance looked ordinary, but he was sitting on a black anvil floating in the air.

The bronze statue was smiling at him while the man sitting on the hammer had a cold expression on his face. As for the only woman, she wasn’t looking at him at all. She was looking far into the distance as if what was happening here before her wasn’t worth her attention.

Loki didn’t need to ask to know what they wanted from him. But he wanted to know the specifics to see if he could get out of this without fighting, so he used the divine constellation on them.

The woman and the man sitting on the anvil both blocked his attempt to check on them. But the smiling bronze statue didn’t stop him from using the divine constellation to inquire about the recent conversation, even though it would be easy for him to block Loki.

The bronze man appeared carefree as he said, “Why did you shut off your previous Life Fire? Was it not compatible with your current one?”

He asked that question because he noticed that Loki now possessed only one Divine Position, even though he used to be a divine being before he acquired this new Divine Position.

So Loki should have possessed two Divine Positions, not one. The only reason Loki will have one Divine Position now is if he gave up on the previous Divine Position.

When he thought about how Loki was likely to lose this second Divine Position, he shook his head in disapproval and said, “That was rash. You shouldn’t have been in a hurry to shut it off. After all, you might still need it.”

Loki replied, saying, “I didn’t want the extra cost of life-leech. So I cut it off.”

This reply made Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer more certain of his guess. So the corner of his lips rose, and his smile deepened as he said to himself, ’It seems I was right. He truly is running out of lifespan. This will make acquiring the Divine Metac so much easier.’

He had already made up his mind to fight. But this confirmation of his guess about Loki’s reserve of lifespan encouraged him about his chances of success.

Then he said to Loki, “In that case, I have something for you that can completely eliminate your need to consume lifespan.”

Loki looked surprised when he heard this. His surprise was evident on his face as he said, “Have you come to congratulate me with gifts on my ascension?”

As he spoke, his eyes roamed across the three of them with the Power Identification Ability activated. Their attributes appeared before him, so he was able to determine who was the strongest and who was the weakest.

He was hoping to worm his way out of this conundrum with some talking because he didn’t want to reveal his strength in front of everyone. But he was also ready to fight his way out if talking won’t work. This is why he is looking for the weakest among them.

When the divine beings watching heard the question he just asked, they sniggered and jeered. His question amused them because it implied that he was ignorant of what was about to happen.

They don’t think he is ignorant, so whatever he is doing is interesting to see. Since they don’t have any stake in the matter, they were fully content with being amused. But the three forgers had to take his question seriously.

Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer narrowed his eyes at him and said, “Congratulations on the creation of your new Divine Metac and Divine Position. Since your Divine Metac can light up the Life Fire, it shouldn’t have any problem with it. I like that in a Divine Metac.”

The lady with the crown of thorns on her head finally turned to look at him. She also took his question seriously and said, “I have a gift here for you. If you take it, you have to give me your new Divine Metac.”
