THE GOD EATER - Chapter 623: Series Of Hammers.

Not even the fact that the white hammers reached her first before the cloud of shrapnel reached the enemy, even though she had attacked first, made her panic. But when the hammers struck her, her eyes widened in realization.
She had thought that the hammers were faster than her attack because they were the direct manifestation of a Divine Metac and could ignore air resistance, while the cloud of shrapnel was an attack that was being controlled by her Divine Metac and had to overcome air resistance.
But when the hammers struck her, she realized that she was only partially right. She realized that what she thought were the reasons were correct, but there was another, more important reason that she had omitted.
She had omitted that truth because she didn’t think it was possible. But as the white hammers sank into her body and smashed into her Life Fire, the truth that she didn’t think was possible became a fact of life that she had to deal with.
When the first hammer struck her Life Fire, it exploded like a bomb. The hammer didn’t need to do this to harm her. He could have just let the hammer hit her again and again like a normal hammer, but Loki was willing to go the extra mile for her.
By making the hammer explode, all the lifespan he spent making it disappeared, and he would have to spend more of his lifespan to create more hammers. However, in exchange for the sacrifice, the discharge of power during the explosion carried so much force that her Life Fire nearly went out.
As the white hammer exploded, there was a flash of light in the core of her Cave Heaven. The flash of light swept through her Life Fire and tried to submerge it.
Loki did this because he was aiming to kill her directly. Unfortunately for him, even though she couldn’t defend against this attack, she could still consume her lifespan to heal the damage.
Without thinking about it, she chose to spend as much of her lifespan as needed to keep her Life Fire burning. This helped her to stay alive, but he didn’t stop because his first attempt had failed.
He immediately let the second hammer smash into her Life Fire and explode. He ordered the third hammer to do this, too. Then the fourth and fifth hammer did the same thing.
All of the explosions going on in her mind made it feel like she was being drowned by the waves of the ocean. She was struggling for air and trying to fight her way to the surface to survive, but the waves kept smashing onto her, trying to bury her.
Because six rank 6 Divine Metacs were working together with an enhancement of 600% from Loki’s law fragments, each explosion consumed 252 years of her lifespan. With her 1,452 years of lifespan, she would only be able to withstand five explosions before she died.
Considering that there were eight hammers, it is safe to say that she would die before this ordeal is over. So without hesitation, she began sacrificing world essence to her Life Fire to gain more lifespan.
The sacrifice didn’t go well as it should have because of the constant explosion in the core of her Cave Heaven. Her Life Fire just couldn’t concentrate on gaining more lifespan while explosions were struggling to snuff it out.
This struggle to survive made her connection to her body precarious. It also made her too preoccupied to block Loki’s way anymore. So her Cave Heaven faltered in its blockade of the extra dimensions.
When Loki sensed the opportunity, he quickly mobilized the power of his Cave Heaven to tear open a gap in the boundary of space. Then he slipped into the tear in space and disappeared from the first dimension.
The other two were caught off guard by the turn of events. They hadn’t expected Loki to still manage to get away with the three of them cornering them.
This made them look at the Monarch Crown of Metal with disdain. After all, she had been the weakness in their blockade.
Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer even said with disdain, “Useless. Utterly incompetent and useless.”
Then he tore open a gap in the dimensions of space and gave chase to Loki. Monarch Heavy Anvil also entered the third dimension to pursue.
As for the Monarch of the Crown of Metal, she was still struggling with Loki’s attack. Her body was flickering like a flame about to go out because of the wind.
Her cloud of shrapnel had even stopped moving and fallen to the ground because she had lost control of the metal fragments. She was clearly too busy to bother with them or continue the chase.
When Loki entered the third dimension, he went straight for the edge of the world. It was clear that he wanted to leave the Blessed Heaven World as soon as possible.
Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer and Monarch Heavy Anvil didn’t want him to leave, though. They gave chase like their lives depended on it.
Heavy Anvil called out to Loki, saying, “Stop running, young man. I will save you now if you join forces with me. But if you keep being stubborn, I won’t have a choice but to rally my alliance against you.”
Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer snorted, but didn’t say anything. He just swung his hammer at Loki.
Monarch Heavy Anvil also attacked Loki. So a hammer and an anvil both flew through the air towards him.
The hammer was producing a gravitational field that pressed down on him as he approached. As for the anvil, it made his body weaker and caused him to expend more energy to move.
Both the hammer and the anvil made his body feel heavier and caused his speed to fall, but they achieved this same goal through different means.
What’s most peculiar was that the two of them affected him without actually touching him. And their effect grew stronger the closer they got to him.
