The crystal shield of the medium world also wasn’t as thick as that of a large world like Oceania. So it didn’t take a long time for him to get through it. However, the will of the world was howling at him throughout the whole process. Not that howling made any difference in terms of difficulty.

In just a few seconds, he reached the core of the world. Then he entered the core and saw the objective he had come for.

He saw a large mountain made of stones of various colors and shining with light of various colors. This was very different from what he had seen the first time. The heart of the world was more vibrant and active, so the sight of the heart of the world made him smile.

“It has been determined that you don’t have 3,200 divine merit points. Therefore, your appointment as an elder of the Four Directions Sect is rescinded, and your position as a Divine Lord under the Money Pathway will be taken away.”

“In order to lay off your debt, your soul will be enslaved. You are to be enslaved for approximately 3,200 years.”

“If your soul is intact after your service as a slave, you will be returned to the circle of reincarnation with no memory of your previous lifetimes. Please prepare yourself.”

As he read through the message, the sect was already taking action against him. No large hand appeared in the sky as he feared. Instead, the four Divine Positions in the core of his Cave Heaven began to riot.

He lost control of the four Divine Positions. Then the Life Fire began to burn through his lifespan and his Cave Heaven.

From the look of things, his Life Fire was going to burn his entire existence. He was curious to see exactly what would happen, but he was also smart enough to know not to stick around.

In fact, immediately he got the world heart, he had activated the Rewind Metac. So he was already on his way into the River of Time when the four Divine Positions began acting up.

On his way out, he snorted and said, “The sect is being too serious about this debt. Don’t they give one month’s notice before they start asking for the debt? Or only mortals have that privilege and divine beings don’t?”

Of course, all of his hopes and dreams were about advancing to rank 7. He had a lot to say about this, but he decided to keep his thoughts to himself and even reduce them so that his expectations would be low.

If his expectation for the outcome of digesting the heart of the medium world is low, he won’t be disappointed too much if the outcome is not an advancement to rank 7. So he subdued his thoughts and hopes and tried to be quiet as he swam upstream the River of Time.
