The Innkeeper - Chapter 1876 3 trillion

Chapter 1876 3 trillion
For more than an age, the universe wondered if Nuwa was alive or not. Even now, most were not sure. She moved in silence, acted in darkness, leaving no trace for anyone to discover, as the time was not yet right for her return. The time was, however, nearing.
With the age coming to a close, the coming of a new era, and the maturing of the universe, many things were soon about to come into play, and the stage for her return was almost set. As such, when she spotted a human with immense potential, and the chance to bring about a change for his entire race, she acted, and hid his traces. Even this time, she hid the phenomenon his breakthrough had caused. But like a naughty child, acting out to attract his mothers attention, this human just kept on putting himself on center stage.
She had half a mind to let him be this time around, and let him reap the trouble he was sowing, but…
She sighed one more time, and flicked a finger. Lex’s phenomenon, which she had hidden, fused with the vision, obscuring his appearance. Considering the origins of the energy the human was leaking, this was the best she could do without attracting attention herself.

“For his next breakthrough, he is on his own,” Nuwa whispered to someo unknown. “Also, since he has received boons, it is time for him to make contributions.”
No one noticed Nuwa’s actions, just as it seemed that no one had heard her words. But the consequences of her actions, seen or unseen, spread across the entire universe.
Lex’s breakthrough phenomenon was no longer suppressed. Instead, it fused with the image of him sitting on that chesterfield, hiding his image entirely. In fact, even the memory of his appearance was wiped from the memory of anyone who had seen it – with the exception of Lex himself.
“What the hell is happening?” he uttered as he saw, and more importantly, felt the change.
Previously, even when Lex’s breakthroughs occurred, he never felt them, or even knew about them until he heard about them from other sources. Yet now, as a Heaven Immortal, and as someone connected to Relational laws, he could immediately feel the phenomenon that was occurring due to him.
More importantly, it was specifically due to the resonance the Dao ingredients in his body was having with the universe. Since he could not control those Dao ingredients at all, he could not stop the phenomenon from occurring. He could, however, now feel them and understand why they were happening.
The image, which was originally appearing only where the anomalous energy spread, suddenly connected to the universe, and then spread across to all the realms that contained any humanoid creatures at all.
The last time such a thing happened was only a few years ago, so the moment it happened, the projection attracted the attention of every leading organization in existence.
Now, instead of Lex, a vague, humanoid figure was sitting on the chesterfield, wearing a maroon velvet coat, holding a pipe. While his facial expressions were hidden, his eyes, which seemed to contain the entire universe in them, were clearly visible, unlike last time.
Lex tried to recall when this could have been, and based on how he looked in the vision before his phenomenon overlapped with it, he guessed that it was from when he visited the Temple of Frozen Dawn. Specifically, the few moments he did not remember right before he got the seal in his mind.
He had no idea why the image overlapped with his breakthrough phenomenon, though he had to admit, his new projection looked hella cool. Although the specific appearance could not be seen, the body demeanor in general exuded a regal aura – one that detonated power and authority. It was vaguely similar to what Domination felt like, but much more refined.
“So what are we talking about?” Lex asked someone not in the vision, taking a puff from the smoking pipe. He blew out magenta colored smoke, which looked cool to look at. His voice had boomed, as if containing immeasurable power. “In total, 3 trillion years of stolen time,” another voice began answering. “But I’m sure there is even more of it left to be discovered. One way or another, what is stolen will be returned. I just want to benefit a little by helping to return it.”
“And you’re saying I can benefit from this too?” Lex asked, leaning forward. In the vision, though, once he leaned forward, the only thing visible were his eyes – deep, mysterious, powerful.
“Depending on how much you help,” the voice answered.
“In that case, I’ll take it all. 3 trillion years in my soul. Who then will deny my Supremacy?” Lex answered, the flame of ambition suddenly burning in his eyes.
“As you wish,” the voice answered one final time.
The vision began to fade, but from the eyes, across the universe, the anomalous time energy was released. For exactly 1 second, the flow of time of the universe where humanoid races existed increased simultaneously. Then, the vision
ended.
Within the Void, the Crystal realm suddenly disappeared as well, fading from plain view of all who were observing it, leaving a long line of carnage behind it, but no trace of where it had gone.
Within the Crystal realm itself, an absolutely unquestionable aura of power radiated across the land, suppressing all that existed – laws included.
The beam of sunlight shining down on Lex from Heaven hadn’t ceased from the beginning of his tribulation till now, but the difference was that the shade of the light had changed.
What was previously sunlight, indicating he was being observed from Heaven, had now turned into pure, holy white light, granting a tremendous amount of
favor.
The positive karma that Lex carried had transcended the realm of karma, and had instead turned into Heavenly favor. The universe itself was lauding Lex for the immensity of his contribution to it – even if he didn’t understand why exactly that was. He had some theories, of course, and they all related to the vision he had seen.
No wonder the karmic bead thought the karma of his seal was greater even than that of his system, and he had a feeling that he hadn’t uncovered all its secrets. Regardless, as Lex was baptized in Heavenly favor – the exact opposite of Universal rejection – his power skyrocketed.
To be clear, the skyrocketing power wasn’t because of the Heavenly favor, but because this was his natural power after reaching a new realm. His presence alone suppressed the entire Crystal realm, laws included, though his instincts were telling him such a state wouldn’t last long. After all, they were mere seconds away from fusing with the Primordial Garden.
