Chapter 1356: Catching On Quick

Lady Danika obviously never expected her day to turn out more fun when she woke up this morning. Klaus arrived unexpectedly, and after spending just 2 hours with her, her world was filled with happiness.

Klaus indeed brought the joy she needed today.

Of course, while Klaus came for her cupcakes, she used the time to learn more about him. In the past, she never had this much interest in him, but now she did, and it was amazing.

She is not like Aoi’s sisters, who would probably be more straightforward with him. She is a bit shy, and so she lacks the confidence to flirt with him.

However, she had her own way, and that was baking.

The cupcakes were the answer, and after spending two hours teaching Klaus how to make them and even giving him her recipes, she managed to find what she wanted to know about Klaus.

Klaus had revealed more about himself within those two hours that she now knew how to go about getting him into her bed. Klaus may not have come here to get in her pants, but before he leaves, he most certainly would pick up on the hints.

“That was amazing, Lady Danika. I had fun and learned a lot.” Klaus was thrilled he could now make his own cupcakes. Of course, he was also thankful he got to spend the day without being sucked dry by his wives.

“I suppose since you are the only living person who enjoys my cupcakes, having the recipe is the right thing. Just make sure it doesn’t fall into the hands of the wrong person.”

“I promise on my honour I will guard the recipe with my life, Master Danika.”

Lady Danika smiled and asked, “Since when did I become your master?”

“Just now, when you bestowed your recipe on me. It is like a master passing her mantle to her disciple.”

“You watch too many movies, Klaus. There is no need to call me Master. I am sure Nadia wouldn’t want her all-powerful husband to suddenly start calling me master.”

Klaus smirked, “She wouldn’t mind, Lady Danika. I am sure she would be happy her mom is finally getting the recognition she needs.”

Klaus laughed, and so did Lady Danika. “Fine. Just don’t make it shameless. I learned you are known to be shameless about a lot of things.”

Klaus shook his head and walked out of the kitchen with Lady Danika. Their cooking lesson had come to an end. Klaus was a quick study, so they didn’t need to spend more time on anything.

“Thank you for today, Lady Danika. I will come back later so we can talk some more.” Klaus said that it was time for him to leave.

He didn’t want to spend too much time on the outside just yet. After he met with the mission hall leader, he would go to the warrior tower to register there, too.

This means there might be some things his main body would be needed for. Of course, they are the same, but there are some things that might go wrong if he is not careful, so his body needs to be alert and ready for anything.

After his other body met the mission hall, he would return to spend time with Lady Danika.

“Alright, Klaus, see you around.”

Klaus soon left and headed to the Ross Mansion to see Lucy’s family.

After he was gone, Lady Danika quickly called her daughter.

“How did it go, Mom?” Nadia asked, her expression showing signs of happiness. The look on her mom’s face doesn’t show that she is nervous, so there is a chance that things went well for her.

“I had a great time with Klaus. He is a positive person to be around.”

“Look at you, already having high hopes for him. Are you sure your opinion of him wasn’t influenced by these cupcakes?”

Both the mother and daughter laughed. Klaus indeed loved the cupcakes, so maybe she is indeed a bit biased in her opinion.

“So what do you think, Mom?”

“He is a great guy, as I said. However, he only sees me as his mother-in-law, so I honestly don’t know if he likes me the way I want him to. However, I know I want him. He is sweet to be around.”

“Don’t worry, Mom. Klaus will soon catch on to your feelings, so let him be for now. I will see what I can do for you.”

“Okay.” After a few more talks, they hung up.

Meanwhile, Klaus, walking toward the central area of Ross City, smiled, amusement appearing on his face.

“So that was what you ladies had been up to, huh?”

If there is one thing about Klaus, it is his ability to read people. He can easily read a person’s behaviour and know what they are up to.

Before leaving Earth, he met Lady Danika several times. Back then, anytime they met, she was chatty and a bit mature.

However, when they met today, she seemed shy and a bit eager to learn more about him. Klaus now has 500 minds, showing his thinking capacity is on another level.

This allowed him to see through her behavior and know something was up. So when he left, he made sure his senses were still covering every nook and cranny of the house.

Now, it seems he had a chance at something big.

“Well, Lady Danika is gorgeous, so there is no harm in making sure she is happy.” Klaus grinned. He had already made up his mind that next time he would take her to the pound town.

Klaus paused his steps, a smile playing on his lips. An idea quickly popped into his mind. This made him broaden his sense.

One part traveled all the way to Hiroshi City. He didn’t need a genius telling him his wives had made some decisions in his absence. It seems they want their immediate inner circle to join them, and Klaus already has a read on it.

So he wants to confirm and, if possible, make it happen on his own terms.

So he chose to observe Aoi’s sisters while another part of his senses traveled to Felin City to have a look at Emily, Lily’s sister.

Just a few minutes later, the answer he sought was found. This put a smile on his face. “Interesting. Looks like coming this time around would be more fun than I think.”

Klaus resumed his journey to the Ross Mansion while keeping his senses on the four people he knew deep down would all want to become his.

“Ah, what the hell. None of them is married, so it isn’t like I would be doing anything bad.” Klaus decided to take matters into his own hands.

So he decided to organize a barbecue in two weeks’ time, inviting Lady Danika, Emily, and the Hiroshi sisters.

Since they had already made up their minds to be his, he would escalate things and make sure they got what they were after.

They are not liabilities since, in a way, he always finds a way to bring out the best in them.

“If it is the star juice they want, then I will be sure to pump them full.”
