The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse - Chapter 1399: Consequences

Chapter 1399: Consequences
Long before Klaus even exited Dark Space, news had already spread to every corner of the universe.
Some of the major media houses had even called prominent warriors who had, in the past, fought alongside the Zorvian Primordial Family’s warriors sent into the known universe.
A major media house even managed to get one to come live in person.
“This is Paradise Media. I have with me here the legendary Weeping Dagger, one of the finest god level warriors in the universe.
He once fought side by side with the legendary Flame Wolf, the last heir sent from the Zorvian Primordial Family before the renegade hunter.
He is joining us here today to enlighten us on what he knows after spending thousands of years with the Flame Wolf.”
The interviewer turned to a green-haired young man whose gaze alone contained the danger of his power.
He was a Universal God and one of the seven warriors who fought in the Flame Wolf’s party.
It can be said that in all of the universe, he is one of the few who know something about the Zorvian Primordial Family.
“I will go straight to the point since everyone is dying to know why the Renegade Hunter revealing he is from the Zorvian Primordial Family is such a big deal.”
Weeping Dagger sighed. “I can’t say much. However, what I can say is that the Zorvian Primordial Family is filled with great warriors. Nobody knows their agenda; however, as far as we can remember, they have existed long before the Primordial Era fell.
That has always been the case as far back as we can remember. From what I know, they only send their best with little to no support. The idea is for them to make a name for themselves before their family gets involved.
In every era, they only send the best of the younger generation. So imagine how it would look if, not long after his journey began, he was forced to reveal who he is.”
“What does it mean?”
“It means this is now a major issue that can’t be ignored. You see, while the Zorvians pay little to no attention to the heirs they send out to make a name for themselves, they are considered the legacy of their race in every era.
So, for that to be disrupted even before it could bloom, you can only imagine how that would reflect on them.
I am not saying I know what they would do, but I know it wouldn’t end well, not when a plan that was supposed to bloom thousands of years from now was interrupted.”
“That indeed sounds like a bad thing,” the interviewer said, scrolling through millions of questions. “But I have to ask, aren’t you a little bit suspicious that the Renegade Hunter is indeed the Paragon?”
Weeping Dagger flashed a small smile. “I can’t say I didn’t consider that. I mean, from what we all know about the Paragon, he always finds a way to make a comeback, and judging from his track record, what the Renegade Hunter has shown looks like something the Paragon would do.
However, that was my thought until he revealed his background. I think we all know the Zorvians have always maintained their reputation as a no-nonsense family.
At one point, a warrior from their ranks fought side by side with a Paragon to set the universe free. However, we also saw how yet another one of their heirs came close to killing the same Paragon again.
That alone should tell you they are not with the Paragon, and I think that is clear now. So no, I don’t think the kid is the Paragon. However, everyone is allowed to express their own opinion, so who am I to clear his name?”
All who were watching this live interview couldn’t help but agree with Weeping Dagger. Klaus is indeed exceptional, but there is no way he is the Paragon.
But even if he is the Paragon, he has done nothing but good since he appeared in the news, so what is there to be angry and suspicious about?
The interview ended with so many questions still left unanswered.
However, most of those questions were answered an hour later when someone from the Zorvian Family arrived with a list of demands.
The Zorvians sent someone into the known universe with a list of demands that, when made public, caused many to turn pale.
“I am here at the command of Old Zorvian.” The Supreme they sent spoke with a straight expression. He wasted no time and began reading what he was sent to say.
“He would first like to express his disappointment toward the Warrior Tower and also to make a declaration.
From today onwards, the Zorvian Primordial Family has cut all ties with the Warrior Tower. We will have no dealings with them now or ever.
Second, while a wrong had been done, the Zorvian Primordial Family chose to be the bigger person. Instead of killing, as we should have, because of the current state of the universe, we will offer an alternative.
Supreme Elder Juo is to offer a public apology for his role in causing an heir to reveal his background far in advance.
Failure to do that will mean a direct insult to the Zorvian Primordial Family, and as such, the necessary measures will be taken to ensure nothing like this ever happens again.
Lastly, to our heir, since you failed to keep your background a secret, the family will be taking a step back from offering any and all assistance until you have proven you have what it takes to earn our support.
Of course, we wouldn’t disown you, but until you can prove you deserve the Zorvian name, never attempt to contact us or any of our allies, which includes the branch families.
If you can kill five Foreign Kings or Queens in the next 300 years, all privileges will be restored. Until then, you are on your own.”
The words left everyone in such shock. They couldn’t even ask any questions since the Supreme had left long before they could.

[An Hour Before the Demands Were Read – Planet Baski]
Klaus opened his eyes in the real world, and the first people he saw were Rory and Lord Victor. He wasn’t surprised by this side, however, before he could say anything, Lord Victor grabbed his hand and teleported away.
When they appeared again, they were inside a spaceship heading far away from Planet Baski. Klaus immediately knew the reason why he was being taken away.
Many knew he had been on Planet Baski for the last few months, so they had to leave before the danger arrived. As to where they were going, he had no idea, but leaving Planet Baski was a smart move.
Thirty minutes after they were gone, dozens of spaceships started to arrive on planet Baski. Most were media houses that wanted to interview him after what had happened during the climax of the battle with Rouni.
Some were people who wanted to get their hands on Klaus for disrespecting Supreme Elder Juo. Of course, those who wanted him protected also came. However, they were all late. Klaus had already left.
However, while Lord Victor was panicking because Klaus had offended many people, unbeknownst to him, Klaus had already expected this outcome, and so he had prepared for it.
A smile appeared on his face after he heard what the Zorvians had to say. He wasn’t really bothered by what the Zorvians did. After all, they wouldn’t be living now if it weren’t for him.
So coming through for him was their way of saying they remembered what he had done for them and that he could count on them.
Ten minutes after the demands were read, the Dark Space Company made a shocking announcement, one that instantly changed everything.
