The Martial Unity - Chapter 3074: Chaotic Technological Paradigms

Chapter 3074: Chaotic Technological Paradigms
FSSSHHHHHHH!!!
FSSSHHHHHHH!!!
FSSSHHHHHHH!!!
FSSSHHHHHHH!!!
FSSSHHHHHHH!!!
The powerful flaming propulsion of the esoteric missile systems of the Esocline Federation illuminated the night sky, piercing through its ominous darkness as hundreds of missiles were fired each second, surging forth with great speed and power.
The powerful guiding missiles reached for the skies their trajectories flattened out more. The propulsion systems integrated into each missile allowed it to guide its trajectory with remarkable fluidity and flexibility despite the high speeds at which it surged forth.
The hundreds of missiles surging forth from the Esocline Federation impaled the dark skies above the waters of the Great Nam Ocean as they distanced themselves from the Esocline Federation at extraordinarily high speeds, equipped which special esoteric plating to counter drag at the high speeds that they move at.
Within minutes, their targets were within sight at a great distance.
A mighty fleet of powerful aircrafts that flew in great harmony.
At the front were twenty powerful aircrafts with intense energy signatures that lit up on satellite feed like nuclear reactors.
Behind them were hundreds and thousands of fewer crafts with lesser energy signatures.
And yet, what shook the surveillance team of the Strategic Command Center monitoring the feed from the missiles that got an up close look at their enemies was the fact that each of the aircraft models of the incoming fleet was different!
“Sir! You need to look at this!”
The Esoterist leaned forward with a stunned expression as he gazed at the missile feed of the distant but rapidly approaching fleet of aircrafts.
“…There is no standardization,” the Esoterist’s eyes widened with shock. “Not a single aircraft model is the same as another.”
Each aircraft model was unique, different, and divergent from the others.
Some of them were fat and large with great armor plating, while others were sleek, thin, and small with great speed and maneuverability.
Their shapes were all over the place.
As were their colors and themes.
The only thing that they had in common was the crest of the Imperial Tekvorian Federation.
A skull with fangs, with two blades crossed across it.
The fleet was slower than the aircraft that they has captured due to the fact that they moved in unison and were held back by the slowest aircraft among them.
The fleet was a maelstrom of chaos.
“This…” The Esoterist’s expression grew bewildered. “This is madness! Who the hell creates a unique model for each pilot?!”
Standardization was the fundamental foundation of economies of scale and mass production. It was impossible to produce hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of any particular kind of technology if each individual unit had a unique design, material requirements, and technological systems.
And yet, with a single glance he could tell from the missile feeds, as the gap between the missiles and their targets reduced drastically with each passing second, that the differentiation between them was not superificial.
It wasn’t that the underlying design was identical and any changes were merely superficial and aesthetic which would still allow for mass production, even if compromised.
No, each model was materially and technologically divergent.
And there were thousands of such models!
The Strategic Command Center was stunned with silence as confusion overwhelmed their severity.
What the hell were these idiots thinking?
They didn’t know.
Not even the Esoterist in all his technological knowledge and wisdom had even the faintest fucking idea what these aliens of the true world thinking.
And yet, it didn’t matter.
“Enemies have deployed flares!”
It appeared that the tekvores weren’t unfamiliar with missile technology, for they certainly had countermeasures against it. Each vessel deployed several little propulsion devices that surged forth towards the missiles with great speed.
BOOOM!
BOOOM!
BOOOM!
The powerful missile explosions sent reverberations through the very fabric of space and time and heaven and earth. The sheer force of the esoteric explosive substances of Sage-grade power was so great that despite intercepting them from distance away with flares, the force of the explosion nonethless shook and battered many of the aircrafts of the fleet.
Much to their relief, not every aircraft was of the same defensive caliber as the one that they had captured.
BOOOM!
BOOOM!
BOOOM!
“Several aircrafts deeper in the fleet formation have taken hits!”
Satellite and long-range surveillance showed several crafts faltering from the fleet and crashing into the waters of the Great Nam Ocean.
BOOOM!
BOOOM!
BOOOM!
Hundreds of missiles surged forth from the Esocline Federation with each passing second, showing the sheer amount of munitions of even the highest caliber that the Esocline Federation has collected in the past century of its existence, allowing it display the seemingly bottomless reserve of technological capital.
“All those decades and years we have spent stockpiling weapons, munitions, and other strategic reserves,” he continued with a grave and severe tone. “Massive reserves that we abstained from using even during the Beast Incursion.”
His eyes sharpened.
“They were for precisely this very day.”
His expression hardened with determination.
“Unleash everything.”
The frequency and flux of missiles emerging from the Esocline Federation almost doubled, leading to a radically greater flux of incoming attacks upon the enemy fleet.
That wasn’t all.
“Distance has entered siege striking range.”
“Activating all siege weapon systems on standby.”
“Fire away.” The Esoterist growled.
“Commencing sieges.”
The mighty canons mounted across the Esocline Federation and on its borders erupted with tremendous power as shells and other physical projectiles emerged from the Esocline Federation, flying with astronomically high speeds, warping the very fabric of space as they surged towards the incoming fleet of aircrafts that were already dealing with missiles systems.
Each shell split apart into many smaller shells that made it impossible the evade all of them, forcing the incoming fleet to rely on pure and hard defenses.
The very fabric of space and time warped as the front runners absorbed redirected many of the incoming attacks into a revolving orbit just the way it happened in the previous attacks.
And yet, hard, solid matter was not as easy to warp and bend endlessly.
And it certainly wasn’t the case that each aircraft was equally well-equipped.
BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!
The powerful siege downed a great number of aircrafts as the Esocline Federation experienced the triumph of a powerful and effective defense system.
