The Martial Unity - Chapter 3218: The Continent of Genora

Chapter 3218: The Continent of Genora
RUMBLE…
The bridge slowed down as it finally reached the continent.
Rui and Amare were confronted with a continent covered in forests and jungles that stretched far, far beyond what the eye could see in the darkness of night. Correct content is on f.ree w.e(b)nov el.c.om
The flora of West Genora was exotic despite the absence of any esoteric substances. The vast vegetation that seemed to cover almost every inch of land upon the continent was of a myriad shades and lights of green, along with other colors spattered across their bodies and greenery.
The first thing that caught his eye was the fact that they occupied a strange place on the Tree of Life.
It was similar to the beasts and monsters of the theriathropes, which were artificial beings with artificially altered DNA. They were also lifeforms with alterations done to them that were not innate to their DNA.
Despite these changes, they still were within the Tree of Life.
But in his eyes, it was as though multiple branches of the Tree of Life had merged together in some strange accident. And yet, it was not the same as when he gazed at alien flora lifeform that was entirely outside of the Tree.
At the coast was a delegation of elves who awaited their arrival.
CRACK CRACK CRACKLE…
The branch that bridged two continents finally returned to where it had come from.
It originated from a single tree on the coast of the continent that somehow managed to grow a branch large enough to cover unfathomable distances.
It was truly hard to even fathom where all that wood came from. View the correct content at fr\eewe.bn(o)v\el.c(o)m
“We have arrived,” Veruschia informed them with a smile. “Welcome to Genora. The homeland of elves.”
The vast, gigantic expanses of greenery that stretched for what felt like infinity truly left him breathless. It was a profoundly moving and beautiful scenery. The kind that anybody would happily spend the rest of eternity appreciating.
Despite the darkness of night, their powerful vision and senses allowed them to sense just how rich and dense life in the Genora Continent was. From the chirps of birds across the entire continent, to the squeaks of critters, and the roars of animals across the entire continent.
It was a beacon of life that was just as dense as the Beast Domain and many, many times larger. The fresh air that hit him was more refreshing and energizing than any other breath of air he had ever inhaled in his entire life.
He could almost feel his vitality and stamina invigorated by the pleasant and refreshing air of the continent, healing him inside and out.
“It’s… It’s wonderful!” Amare gasped as her amber eyes lit up with delight and wonder.
“I’m glad that the two of you seem to like it,” Veruschia smiled with a hint of pride. “Indeed, we prize our homeland. For now, let us descend from this tree and make our way into the hinterlands of the continent. There, we have prepared living quarters that are worthy of personages such as yourselves.”
They quickly got off the tree as the delegation sent by the elves bowed before them.
“Welcome to Genora, the land of elves. We hope to be of service to you.”
Rui couldn’t help but note that they were all men, interestingly enough.
They, too, couldn’t help but focus their attention on Amare, ignoring Rui for the most part.
Some even harbored disdain and disgust for the stench of death that emanated from within Rui, even though they did an extremely good job of hiding it. He only managed to learn of it thanks to his mind sense.
“I’d like to travel on foot,” Amare insisted as she immediately began traversing the depths of the Genora Continent. “It would be so wonderful to explore this continent by ourselves!”
“We may travel on foot if that is what you so desire,” Veruschia replied.
Amare smiled in delight as she took the air, turning back and offering a hand to Rui.
“Come. Let’s go together.”
Rui gazed at her deeply for a moment before smiling.
“Why not?”
He took to the air as he approached her, clasping her warm hand tightly.
The two of them took off deeper into the seemingly infinite forests of Genora with rich and dense life.
“We should wait for our guides,” Rui tried to helplessly dampen Amare’s enthusiasm. “We will get lost in a continent this large. They can’t run as fast.”
WHOOSH
His eyes widened as he detected the dark elves immediately catching up to him, almost as if to disprove his words.
“Fascinating,” he turned around as he spotted them standing on a flying hoard of leaves of a specific species.
He could sense a flux of information and energy flowing between each of the elves and the hoard of leaves. Each leaf itself was capable of autonomous flight through a biotechnological propulsion system, allowing them to support the weight of an elf individually.
“So this is how you guys use your Nature Path for maneuvering,” Rui murmured to himself.
“Leaf-stepping is a common technique that is taught to elves cultivating the Nature Path rather early on in their lives,” Veruschia explained with an informative tone. “We use it to move in the air most commonly, but it can also be used for other reasons. If anything, it is we who are most curious as to how you Martial Artists are able to float in the sky without such a measure. Truly fascinating.”
The elves couldn’t help but stare at how Rui and Amare used micro-vibrations in their feet to generate the thrust needed to remain in the air.
Both sides were, of course, curious about how the other side did things.
“Rui, look!” Amare’s gasps drew his attention. “Look at that tree in the great distance! It’s enormous!”
Rui turned as he squinted his eye.
The moment he saw it, however, he was shocked beyond all fathoming.
In the distance, with half of its body below the horizon, he spotted such a massive tree that even the upper part of its body greatly dwarfed the Elder Tree in size.
It radiated incredible, unfathomable power.
“…A Mother of Nature.”
