The Martial Unity - Chapter 3295: Meaning of Victory

Chapter 3295: Meaning of Victory
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!
Rui gritted his teeth as the wooden projectiles attacking him high in the darkness of the night sky exploded before his Palms of Death could effortlessly disable them. The light elves had clearly understood that there was nothing that could they could do to defeat him if this continued, thus they unleashed their power before he could dismantle it.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!
RUMBLE!!!
He balled up, defending himself to the very limit as he tried his best to limit the damage he endured.
His defense was normally extraordinary, able to resist all manner of attacks. But in this case, his defense had been partially handicapped with the usage of all of his Primordial Seed just to survive the initial onslaught of attacks from the light elves, causing him to lose his invintium armor.
That wasn’t the only shortcoming he suffered, however.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!
RUMBLE!!!
He gritted his teeth as he spontaneously created new defensive techniques with the Forge of Creation to protect himself using domain manipulation. His distance from land and the prior destruction of half of the forest meant that the heavens were now freer for heaven manipulation, allowing him to use a greater portion of his arsenal.
The biggest issue, however, was not his inadequate defenses.
’The biggest issue is the fact that I have no clear-cut path to victory or even a singular target to defeat.’ His pitch-black eyes sharpened with severity. ’On top of that, for the first time in a long time, I have the stamina disadvantage!’
The Blood of Solaris was indeed very powerful and overwhelming.
However, compared to an entire continent’s worth of resources, energy, and potential, it did not hold a candle. The elves were virtually invincible in their territory, and part of it was due to the fact that their stamina and longevity in battle on their own continent was essentially infinite.
If he continued fighting this way to the very end, he would undoubtedly be the first one to succumb.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!
RUMBLE!!!
He gritted his teeth as he continued defending against the attacks from the dark elves, struggling to keep his wits about him as he maneuvered across the night sky, trying his best to shake off his attackers.
’I can’t turn this into a battle of attrition.’
That was something he was certain about.
Normally, in these circumstances, the most ideal course of action was to escape the enemy’s lair.
It was beyond foolish to try to fight one’s enemies in their base of power.
However… Rui was not the most rational person when it came to such circumstances.
’Running away here will be the same as admitting defeat.’
His eyes flared with power.
He had no intention of admitting that his adaptive evolution was insufficient to overcome these particular circumstances.
He didn’t simply intend to escape like a little rat.
’I will win this battle.’
And therein lay the problem.
What did it mean to ’win’ a battle where he didn’t have a singular, discrete opponent?
The forest was the one attacking him, technically. However, he knew that his opponents were comprised of many of the Mothers of Nature of East Genoran Elven Civilization. In particular, these were massive, powerful entities that were spread out across East Genora and were contributing to the battle from afar using their cognition, biotechnology, and energy.
He wasn’t facing a single opponent at all.
On top of that, the flora of much of the continent was also contributing to the battle.
His opponents were ambiguous and spread out, making victory impossible even in concept unless he was willing to run around East Genora hunting down every tree lifeform that contributed to the battle.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!
RUMBLE!!!
His eyes sharpened with determination as his powerful gaze found itself fixed on a single entity.
The giant Mother of Nature closest to him a few thousand kilometers away.
He could feel it.
This one was responsible for teleporting him here.
She was also doing the most in the attack against him, manipulating nature with a proficiency that Rui had never seen before.
“I have decided.”
His tone was chilling.
His pitch-black eyes flared with a powerful bloodlust.
“I will kill you.”
Mother Mara could sense his bloodlust and hostility towards her.
’You are but a demonic being who knows not of the purity of nature. We light elves will exorcise you from this world.’
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!
RUMBLE!!!!!
The world shook as boundless explosive projectiles emerged from the forest, converging upon Rui with the sole intention of incinerating him alive.
He activated Megamind as eyes glowed with blood-red light.
A single whisper escaped him.
“Void of Water.”
His extraordinary Martial Embodiment flooded with tremendous power, converging on Mother Mara with great force as the tremendous tsunami of information converged on her and her alone.
’Rghhhh!’ Mother Mara felt a profound kind of pain that she hadn’t experienced before as Rui flooded her mind with an information overload. In particular, he tried his best to overwhelm her with pure information as he tried delaying her manipulation of nature as much as he could.
Void of Water was what he used when he wanted to subdue his opponents mentally, using an information overload.
His Martial Embodiment was normally excessively heavy in and of itself, when he focused his Martial Mind to burden his target, the information overload would be so intense that he could simply crush anybody.
RUMBLE!!!
The world shook violently as Mother Mara’s body quivered.
’Sister Mara!’
’What happened?!’
’What did the demon do to her!’
It wasn’t just pain that Mother Mara felt.
It was also shock.
Fear.
She was a Mother of Nature.
Her mind was colossal in its power and magnitude.
On top of that, she had access to the cognitive power of the processing power of the organic neural network that spanned an entire continent. And yet, before the astronomical cognition of Rui’s Megamind, even she found herself struggling to resist and continue her assault on him.
Such was the power of the Dawnbringer.
