The Martial Unity - Chapter 3297: Unanimous

Chapter 3297: Unanimous
The revelation of what had happened to Prince Rui shook West Genora.
The Taararnynm, the council of Mothers of Nature of West Genora, had convened as all one hundred Mothers of Nature had joined to partake in the important meeting.
It was very rare that a Taararnynm council meeting would include all one hundred Mothers of Nature.
There were almost no matters that required all of them to collectively weigh in. There were many Mothers of Nature who simply skipped out on the meetings because they had more important things to do, or simply because they were bored with it.
These lofty existences spent much of their time in nature as a true part of nature, following one agenda or another.
Many of them served as the matriarchs of their clans, looking after their own blood as they hosted their kin within their expansive bodies.
Many of them focused on research and development in the Institution of R&D in West Genora, using their tremendous cognition, knowledge, experience, and power to further botanical biotechnology to ensure that West Genora wasn’t left behind in the world by their peers.
There were even those who dedicated themselves to passing on their knowledge and skill to the next generations of elves and training them from grounds up, as Mother Alicia had chosen to do. There were those who stood guard at the northern edge of the continent, facing Moridia and the Evolutionary Army that was the dominant power on it. Their presence deterred the Evolutionary Army from invading the continent and kept West Genora safe for centuries.
All these important tasks demanded time and attention, making it almost impossible for a Taaranynm
council meeting to harbor the attention of all one hundred Mothers of Nature. Usually, one could only expect to find half of all Mothers of Nature to participate in the council meetings.Yet, this time, all one hundred Mothers of Nature, no matter what task or agenda they had dedicated themselves to, showed up.
That spoke volumes to how important and urgent the matter was.
The air in the meeting within the depths of the West Genora Flora Network was tense.
The atmosphere had grown electric.
A chilling sense of danger and peril lurked about as the leaders of West Genoran Elven Civilization found themselves in an extremely tense predicament.
’The light elves have gone too far this time!’
Mother Alicia’s voice was intense.
She had grown close to Rui over the span of five months of chatting with him, watching him train, and guiding his nature manipulation. She had taken the effort to cultivate a personal friendship with him to deepen the bonds between the Panama Continent and West Genora.
’We must conduct a military operation in the territory of our sisters and rescue him!’ she urged her sisters.
However, not everyone was in favor of such a decision.
’You want to wage war with our sisters, with whom we have eons of shared heritage, for the sake of that sick, deathly demon?’ One Mother of Nature scoffed. ’We cannot do that. The light elves are our only true allies. We may not see eye to eye with each other and have some crucial differences that separate our civilizations, but they are truly our sister civilization. Waging war with them over the Martial Artist prince is simply unacceptable.’
’I disagree,’ another Mother of Nature chimed in. ’Sister or not, they have attacked a guest of honor in our civilization. That is not something that sisters who cherish each other do. Regardless of what your personal opinion on the Dawnbringer is, the fact of the matter is that we invited him here as our guest. We must not tolerate disrespect from anybody, even if it is our own sister!’
’In the first place, he’s probably already dead,’ one Mother of Nature pointed out. ’Mother Mara of the light elves must have teleported him right into a destructive ambush of extraordinary power. Given that his victory over the late Evolutionary Supreme Commander is so famous, I highly doubt that they underestimated his power. This means that the probability that he is dead is probably over ninety percent.’
’He is stronger than they realize,’ Mother Alicia’s tone was unpleasant. ’Not to mention…’
RUMBLE
A wave of seismic radiation swept over West Genora.
’The fact that the seismic turmoil is still continuing is proof that the battle is ongoing,’ Mother Alicia insisted. ’We must conduct a military operation to save him!’
’Even if you were right and he is still alive. We don’t have any way of conducting a military operation on the light elves. Elves are strongest in their homeland, and that reality is true for our sisters as well.’
’Then we can use teleportation to bring him back like they did. We have Mother Siliscia and Mother Novatia, who also specialize in space-time biotechnology.’ Mother Alicia countered.
’The light elves have anticipated that. We can guess what region he is in based on the emerging seismic radiation, but we don’t have his exact coordinates. They have disconnected the entire forest from any route through the Greater Genoran Flora Network. They have no intention of allowing us to teleport him back.’
Mother Alicia grew frustrated by the lack of options, mourning the excessive imbalance between defense and offense. ’Then, we can conduct an attack from afar. We can ensure that we drain away all their military potential away from Rui. We can also conduct continental ballistic missile attacks and airstrikes!’
’An all-out war with the light elves will be far too destructive for us,’ another Mother of Nature warned. ’If the light elves retaliate, and they will, it will be mass destruction across the entire continent. We do not wage war. We do not stoop to war. We bear arms in self-defense, and he is our guest, but he is not a dark elf.’
The air shifted in favor of the dark elf Mothers of Nature, who preferred not to take military action to bring Rui back. Mother Alicia lamented the lack of will to fight to protect a guest who was under their implicit and explicit protection, but that wasn’t what she needed to focus on for now.
She needed to do whatever was in her power to help Rui.
’Then, let us at least conduct an organic cyber attack!’ Mother Alicia put forth another proposal. ’Using our collective might, we should be able to launch a powerful organic cyber attack on their network, forcing them to divert some of their attention against us and relieve Rui. This is not a physical war and will not cause any damage to nature, which should allow us to help Rui without triggering a physical war.’
The Taararnynm remained silent as none of the Mothers of Nature found a fault with the suggestion.
It was accepted unanimously.
