The Martial Unity - Chapter 3556: Your Turn

Chapter 3556: Your Turn
And then, he teleported to NOVA once more, activating Uncertain Existence.
His existence spread across the world, as if smeared across the very fabric of reality. His position in the universe became entirely uncertain as his fist reached the quantum supercomputer.
WHOOSH
His eyes widened as the quantum supercomputer itself teleported away this time, disappearing out of his way.
WHOOSH
He found himself in the Great Void Ocean once more, heaving a sigh, turning to NOVA with a heavy gaze. He briefly considered activating one of his greatest trump cards before shaking his head.
He had already spent two months sleeping; he didn’t want to sleep anymore. Not to mention, he would wipe out his own side with that power as well.
[You should give it a try.]
His pitch-black eyes sharpened, remembering that his thoughts were no longer private.
He hadn’t had his mind read in a long, long time.
Not since Tokugawa Ieyasu.
He immediately activated his anti-Ieyasu domain technique to protect the privacy of his mind. “Rude.”
[Hehe… I’m not sorry •⩊•. My rule is that those who can’t resist don’t have the right to. You’re the first to successfully resist and push back in a strong attempt. ]
The fact that he could resist her mind-reading was quite positive to NOVA. She felt like this made him less of an inferior of more of an equal to her, allowing him to resist her efforts more effectively, making for a genuinely mentally stimulating battle.
[Use that power you used against that lizard.]
Rui raised an eyebrow. “Lizard… Shenlong? I’m good. I don’t like using it when I don’t need to.”
[You cannot keep up with me if you don’t.]
Rui huffed lightly. “Just because I couldn’t kill you right away does not mean that I cannot keep up.”
His pitch-black eyes stirred.
“Underestimate me at your own risk.”
She could sense the truth in his words, piquing her interest in him even more.
[Then, let us put that to the test, shall we? ฅ^>⩊<^ ฅ ]
RUMBLE…
The tekvore army, the evolutionary army, and the giants returned, surrounding him as they regained their composure and their control. Although his Martial Embodiment paralyzed most of them, the strongest among them were still able to move without any issue, allowing them to partake in a battle to defeat him.
Six ascendant tekvores, three giants with Heart, and five elite evolutionaries.
These were extraordinary odds that not even Transcendent Candidates would be able to survive, and yet, Rui’s pitch-black eyes simply blazed with power.
“Bring it on.”
His tone was of composure and inevitability.
RUMBLE!!!
His enemies charged towards him as Rui surged forth, balling his hands into fists.
WHOOSH
He smoothly evaded a sonic cannon, launching a powerful blow into the gut of a tekvore with great speed.
WHOOSH
The tekvore swirled, avoiding Rui’s attack much to his surprise, before launching a profoundly powerful attack at his head. And yet, Rui calmly blocked the attack, absorbing the impact before placing his fist in the water.
“Water-Inch Punch.”
BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
The single blow ravaged the tekvore inside out as Rui projected the blow with Death’s Sympathy, allowing him to ravage the tekvore inside out, leaving him half-broken.
The same attack that couldn’t so much as inflict a scratch on the Dragon Emperor now almost crippled a tekvore, leaving his body broken.
WHOOSH
Rui evaded a stomp from a giant, immediately finding himself face to face with an evolutionary whose fist charged towards Rui’s body. Rui smoothly absorbed the attack’s energy, launching a powerful attack at him faster than he could even react with Neo-Godspeed.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
Tekvores converged on him from all sides, boxing him as they activated all manner of attacks on him. Rui simply sharpened his eyes.
“Niflheim.”
WHOOSH
In the blink of an eye, he froze most of them.
What surprised him, though, was that they began evading even before the attack had begun.
NOVA was using her predictive model on him to make them evade in time, but because her predictive model was highly one-dimensional with teleportation evasions, it failed to protect all of her tekvores from the expanding zone of freezing.
’I should avoid using teleportation against NOVA; she has my timing down, and it could prove to be deadly if I teleport point-blank into a lethal trap,’ he charged as he created predictive and SOUL models on all of his opponents.
The latter didn’t matter for the tekvores since they were all being controlled by one person, but they were still useful against the giants and evolutionaries.
The Panamic Alliance had retreated, along with the therianthropes and dark elven flora weapons, leaving him alone to defend against the surge of attacks.
And yet, he wasn’t so much as even fazed.
BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
He launched a myriad of attacks against his enemies, crippling half of them as he adapted his combat with predictive models and prophecy, while also adapting his body with the Metabody System. He created a series of new techniques suited against his opponents, achieving an incredible rate of success.
NOVA watched him with profound interest and fascination.
[Compared to the other top ten, he severely lacks in raw output.]
He was orders of magnitude below someone like the Dragon Emperor.
[And yet, every single joule of energy and potential energy is used in the most effective and impactful way possible within the laws of physics. He makes every effort count, not just in mechanical and thermodynamic efficiency, but also in tactical and strategic effectiveness as well.
Despite being surrounded by powerful pathwalkers, he calmly dispatched them with just a tiny, tiny fraction of their combined power. Even as NOVA tried her best to manipulate her tekvores against him, her control over bodies that were not her own proved to be the greatest difference in the execution of their plans, respectively.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!
The entire ocean shook as Rui singlehandedly overwhelmed the invading raids with a single attack, leaving the wounded and broken giants and evolutionaries to retreat and escape as they realized the futility of fighting him.
He gazed straight at NOVA with challenging eyes.
“Your turn.”
