The Martial Unity - Chapter 3614: Caveats and Constraints

Chapter 3614: Caveats and Constraints
While the Kandrian front of the war was successfully reinforced by the MECHA corps of the Kandrian Empire, the Kiriket front of the war was not nearly as fortunate.
BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!
Amare gritted her teeth as she leaped, away somersaulting across the ocean surface, evading a myriad of curving quantum-gravitational tweezers-turned scalpels that sought to carve her up into a bloody mist, reduced to atoms and plasma.
Transentia’s crystal eyes sharpened as her crystal body shone with bright light, dispelling the darkness of the night sky. The crystal that comprised her body was actually a special meta-material with properties that made it highly conducive to generating the quantum gravitational tweezers that she was using to harass Amare.
The lattice structure of the crystal was such that there were tiny openings in the crystalline structure that the atoms were arranged in, making it easy for her to harness the Casimir Force that served as the actual ’tweezer’ in this case.
She didn’t even strictly need gravity, unlike Rui, so it really was just quantum tweezers, which drastically reduced the energy expenditure of the technique on top of her seemingly endless energy reserves.
Amare couldn’t afford to touch the tweezers because it would melt her beyond even her ability to resist, making it an instant death attack. On top of that, she couldn’t even attack Transentia herself because anything she threw at her would get reduced to plasma and simply dissipate through the atmosphere and the environment.
She couldn’t draw closer, either, due to the fact that the quantum tweezers were more dense and powerful around Transentia’s body, making it too dangerous to even risk it.
The only thing that was remotely effective was the fact that gravitational waves seemed to disable the quantum tweezers; however, the issue was that gravitational waves were not the most efficient way of transmitting power.
The amount of effort it took to disable each wave of quantum scalpels that Transentia flung at her was too much to sustain in the long run, especially when her opponent had virtually infinite energy.
This was especially true when Amare’s body was covered with green leaves healing her destroyed tissue with her own stamina and nutrition.
’I must find a solution.’
She was convinced that there existed one.
There always existed one.
That was what Rui had shown her.
Her amber eyes honed in on Transentia even as she evaded the myriad of quantum scalpel attacks that were unleashed against her. Transentia was careless about the way that she spent her energy because of her conviction that she had endless energy.
’Does she truly?’
She understood the mechanics of why the woman believed, perhaps even correctly, that she had infinite energy. Rui had explained the phenomenon of black holes to her and how they could convert mass into energy.
It was endless clean energy that didn’t require giant constructs surrounding stars that needed maintenance. It didn’t require any particular substances like hydrogen for fusion or radioactive elements for fission.
It was the perfect and most flawless means of generating energy.
’Then why the hell doesn’t everybody generate infinite energy this way?’
She knew that the elves didn’t. Were the elves just stupid? Was it just impossible for botanical biotechnology to harness singularities as a source of infinite energy?
’No, the Mothers of Nature are some of the smartest people I have ever met. And biotechnology should be capable of doing everything that non-organic technology can.’
And yet, clearly, black holes were not an epidemic.
Amare’s amber eyes widened with realization. ’Why isn’t her body collapsing from the gravity of the black hole?’
The fact that it was just barely visible as a dot within her body meant that there should have been a great gravitational pull that would pull her body from the inside out. Even if it was well outside of the
In fact, that gravitational pull should have been pulling Amare as well, and yet it didn’t.
’How is she moving with a black hole inside her?’
That was another anomaly that she hadn’t thought to question until she started truly thinking about Transentia with her Martial Mind.
Black holes couldn’t be touched by anything. Anything that entered it would forever be a part of it. In other words, when Transentia moved her body, the black hole should have remained in motion relative to her and would end up touching the inner walls of whatever chamber contained the black hole.
There was only one force that a singularity was susceptible to.
’Gravity.’ Amare realized as her eyes widened. ’She must be using gravitational waves to move her singularity with her body and ensure that the singularity didn’t collide with her body.’
That was the secret price of a black hole generated. It served as a massive constraint on acceleration. One couldn’t accelerate too fast, for one needed to ensure that one’s singularity was accelerated by gravitational waves.
And given that even a singularity as small as a dot likely had the mass surpassing even that of a mountain, accelerating such a heavy object would undoubtedly demand a lot of energy.
’It’s no wonder she hasn’t moved from her spot the moment the battle began,’ Amare realized. ’Shit! I should have made this connection from the start. Now I wasted so much time just dancing to her tune.’
She knew that if it was Rui, he would have made this deduction right from the very get-go, he noticed such anomalies and made such inferences extremely quickly.
He would have likely found a way to exploit this flaw and even win by now with some optimal antithetical strategy.
’I may not be as brainy as he is, but even I can find a solution to this problem with this weakness.’
RUMBLE…
The world shook as Amare’s Heart flared with power. Her amber eyes grew fierce with determination as she stopped some distance away, out of the range of Transentia’s quantum scalpels.
Despite her target being out of range, Transentia did not move immediately.
Her crystalline eyes sharpened. “Are you running away?”
