The Martial Unity - Chapter 3616: The True Threat of NOVA

Chapter 3616: The True Threat of NOVA
RUMBLE!!!
Her crystal body quivered with power as she generated many quadrillions of quantum scalpels. Instead of projecting them outwards, however, she mobilized them as armor right outside her body on the very crystalline surface.
The quantum forces acted as a shield forged from scalpels, creating a very poky exterior that would prick at the touch. The goal was to use them to bleed out the power of the gravitational wave so that it reduced the amount of displacement that Transentia suffered as a result of the gravitational wave, which minimized the risk that she would touch her own singularity.
BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!
Amare ran about the battlefield, launching gravitational wave after gravitational wave against Transentia at full power, hoping to cross the critical displacement threshold where her body would touch her own singularity and meet its demise.
“Damn…!” Amare muttered under her breath with a grim expression. “She already found a way to defend effectively.”
The quantum scalpels that had been serving as weapons of offense and scouts searching for Amare retreated back to their master, serving as a shield that bled anything that dared to touch Transentia.
The air around Transentia grew hazy as the extreme concentration of quantum forces around her interacted with the light her body emitted ,making it seem like she was of an ethereal composition.
RUMBLE!!!
Even as the gravitational waves began sweeping her with greater and greater intensity, Transentia managed to stabilize her position relative to her singularity as her composure returned.
The singularity mobilization system that controlled the motion of the singularity within her with powerful gravitational pulses managed to bring it back to the center of the energy core where it was supposed to be, where it was continuously fed matter at the same rate at which it radiated Hawking Radiation, supplying power that fueled Transentia’s entire being.
She slowly began to fully defend against Amare’s gravitational attacks, even if she was deeply displeased with having been pushed on the defensive.
Yet, just as she was eager to begin exploring how she could seize the initiative back from the Martial Artist wench, her eyes widened as she felt a tremendous impact on her crystalline impact.
Amare had done the unthinkable.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!
CRACK
Amare’s leaf-covered fist blasted into Transentia’s crystalline chest, where her singularity energy core was. The crystal structure quivered under the tremendous power that Amare outputted, before eventually cracking under the weight of the attack.
It didn’t matter if a Dwarven Sage had personally sculpted her body to be virtually indestructible, surpassing the durability of raw invintium. Before the might of Amare’s boundless efficiency, almost nothing could remain intact.
Amare’s amber eyes flared with a ferocious determination as they bore deep into Transentia’s crystal eyes. Transentia gazed at Amare with horror as her crystal eyes widened, time slowing down in her vision.
Amare had used the fact that Transentia’s scalpels had bled the gravitational waves she unleashed.
The gravitational waves had indeed been bled.
But the same could be said for the scalpels.
She had waited for the moment right after the interaction between the scalpels and the gravitational wave to charge right in, launching her most powerful blow.
It was a blow of boundless efficiency at every level, fueled by the mastery of ten thousand years of practice and muscle memory.
“It’s over.” Amare’s amber eyes flared with bloodlust as her palm surged forth, towards Transentia’s chest, aiming to cave her chest in and destabilize her singularity.
It would be an instant death.
Or at least, it should have been.
Yet, just one moment before her attack could impale Transentia’s crystal chest, something changed.
A hole opened through the very fabric of reality.
Within Transentia’s body.
It drew her in, singularity, crystal, and brain altogether.
Just like that, she was gone.
WHOOSH!
Amare’s eyes widened with shock as her attack crashed into nothing. “Wha—”
One moment, her enemy was right there.
The very next, she was gone.
Chills crawled across her skin as a text message appeared right in front of her.
[You did well.]
Her nerves tingled with peril as she leaped away instinctively. She hadn’t been able to sense any holographic technology that projected that message in front of her.
It was almost as if it spontaneously appeared in reality from outside it.
[So jumpy. 0_0 I just wanted to say that you have exceeded the models I created for you based on data previously gathered. Did you recently get a huge power boost?]
Amare clenched her fist with a grim expression.
She had become a Transcendent Candidate in private with Rui after her public battle with the Dragon Emperor. It was no wonder that NOVA’s predictions for the battle had gone off the rails if she had based her predictions. on them
[Such a large jump in power just two months… I must say I’m impressed by the rate of growth of Martial Artists. The other battlefield also surprised me with its MECHAs. Not only do you, Martial Artists, develop at a remarkable pace, but your civilization also evolves at a statistically anomalous pace based on all the anthropological large civilizational models that I have plotted from satellite data and other intel sources. Tell me…]
The air grew tense.
[…Did your civilization truly experience one hundred and eighty-seven thousand years of time in its time away?]
Amare needed to exert superhuman self-control at those words.
“What?” she used her tremendously powerful Martial Soul to control her body’s subconscious nonverbal language to not reveal any sudden spikes in emotion.
[…If you are feigning ignorance, then you are good at it. I have calculated a development rate index of your civilization based on everything that I have observed and all data gathered since the Return of the Lost Continent. Based on my estimations, your development only makes sense if you experienced around… 1300 years instead of 187,000 years. What do you think of that?]
In that moment, Amare realized just how dangerous NOVA was.
She was an existential threat to the Panama Continent of the highest order.
She gritted her teeth, turning towards Greater Tekvoria in the distance with a burning bloodlust, mobilizing all of her power.
She needed to kill NOVA at all costs.
[I’m afraid not.]
Before she could even take a single step, a second hole emerged through the fabric of reality.
From within it emerged none other than Argenton.
His silver eyes flared with bloodlust.
“This time I will not fail.”
He unleashed a tremendous blast of light before Amare could even react.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!
RUMBLE!!!
The world shook as Amare’s body was swept with a destructively lethal attack.
