The Martial Unity - Chapter 3931 What He Saw

Chapter 3931 What He Saw
The reason that there was no record nor trace of the ancestral civilization outside of the Lost Ruins was one that had boggled geologists and archaelogists. But when Rui had connected the alien virus theory with the theories he had come up with the Divine Doctor with the information theories that he was familiar with, he began gaining a better understood of what had happened.
The alien entity must have entered Gaia, set a manifold, and then must have wiped out all information of the past through some extraordinarily unfathomable esoteric means. Given that information couldn’t be destroyed, he could only assume that it had been absorbed by the alien entity almost entirely, leaving only tiny pieces intact.
The Lost Cities.
The Lost Cities weren’t particularly special places, just places that must have survived the information seizure by random chance. They were the few sole remaining relics of the past.
Of a civilization before esoterics and before Paths.
A primordial human civilization that was simply highly intelligent and normal. They had taken a normal path to development, or at least what Rui would have considered ‘normal’. Their technology was conventional and wasn’t especially slated in any one particular direction, like many of their descendent civilizations’ technology was. It suggested to him that Paths had not only altered the trajectory of personal pursuit of power, but also the trajectory of technological development. That alone had countless interesting inferences, but he didn’t care for them at the moment. He smoldered at the thought of an alien entity depriving them of their past and their legacy for its own purposes.
He could even estimate the purpose, abominable as it was to him.
“It must have been to sever the past from the present of the denizens of the manifold.”
If the people within the manifold did not know that there was a world outside, then they wouldn’t go trying to find it. If they knew that the world they lived in was merely a prison, merely a fortress to protect its esoterics, then it would have undoubtedly, then it increased the probability that they would escape.
It had destroyed everything for a mere contingency measure, just to enhance the security of its operations a little.
He clenched his fists as his eyes sharpened with a profound intensity.
“It will pay for what it has done.”
For the death and destruction of their ancestral civilizations.
For the imprisonment of the people of Panama within a manifold.
For daring to threaten Gaia and all those who lived within it.
For daring to threaten the world that his daughter lived in. Just the thought of that made him ferociously enraged and bloodlusted. He needed to several moments to calm himself down and channel all that energy towards honing his mind and focus.
If this alien entity truly had something to do with what could bring fear even in the Martial Transcendents, then even he needed to be on his toes and keep his guard up at all times. A single mistake could lead to his death. He knelt to the ground, pressing his hand against it, before closing his eyes. His goal was but a single point.
The point of maximum fear.
He began spreading his senses downwards.
Deep, deep downwards.
Due to the size of Gaia, the sheer distance it was away at quite far. And was impeded by the tremendous crust and mantle of the planet, and the esoterics in the former. He spontaneously created new seismic sensory techniques. The only one he had at that point was Seismic Mapping, a technique that he had learned when he was a mere Martial Apprentice. A huge upgrade was a long time coming.
“Ultimate Seismic Mapping.”
He wasn’t particularly in the state of mind to come up with a more creative name.
All of his attention was focused on one and only one thing. His target.
He found it.
His senses just faintly happened upon a distant cavity deep underground at the point of maximum fear. “It is time.”
Everything boiled down to this.
He sent the necessary radio signals, informing those who needed to know that he was about to commence, before activating his negatron matter. RUMBLE!!!!!
The world shook as he began warping the very fabric of space, generating powerful but microscopic black holes to warp the very fabric of space and time. His spatial techniques had grown much stronger ever since he innovated micro-black holes to replace breathing techniques.
But despite that, he strained as he tried forming a bridge between him and the point that he was trying to teleport to.
“The matter, conventional and esoteric, is impeding my teleportation.” His eyes sharpened as he began exerting himself even more. It was a good solution to teleportation, but not practical to be used. He continued pushing himself to the very limit, grinding at the very fabric of space and time and he slowly made progress.
Minutes passed as he pushed himself to the very limit, while simultaneously increasing the amount of negatron matter at his disposal with exotic pluripotent matter.
FSSH
He also gave himself an invintium armor, just in case.
If it took this much effort to teleport there, then it would undoubtedly take even more effort to get out of there and back to the surface of Gaia. He needed to be prepared for anything.
He gritted his teeth, pushing himself to the limit.
And then, he teleported away.
WHOOSH
In the blink of an eye, he found himself at the point of maximum fear. The very first thing that drew his attention was the geometry of space-time. It was warped in such an unfathomable manner that he felt like his body would bend like a noodle if he took a single step forward.
The second thing that struck him was the weightlessness he felt. It was as if he was in outer space, free from the shackles of gravity. When he opened his eyes, his pupils dilated.
What he saw shook him to his very core.
