The Martial Unity - Chapter 3985 Boiling War

Chapter 3985 Boiling War
The entirety of the Gaian army watched with shock as the soap bubbles seemed to absorb light through the transparent layers, refracting it smoothly and turning them around before flinging the same light beams straight back at the Gaian army.
“ACTIVATE SHIELDS!”
“Activating defenses!”
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
Seconds passed before the beams of light returned to the Gaian army with almost no energy lost, displaying a level of efficiency in energy manipulation that rivaled even that of Martial Artists. It was such a shock that the Gaian Army barely managed to activate electromagnetic force fields to protect their units from the intensity of the attacks.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
The elven siege weapons stopped firing after several moments, realizing that the attacks were not just futile, but they were also self-destructive. Somehow, the laminars had achieved such a mastery of light that they could freely manipulate and reverse its trajectory.
At the scale of the entire army.
“How is this possible?!” King Lialin, the Martial Sage ruler of the Solaris Kingdom, exclaimed with shock. “How can so many of them bend light so effortlessly?!”
Back in Gaia, the true body of Mother Maeria shook a little as her thoughts grew grim. ‘Their mastery of technology exceeds us. What they have displayed is a base mastery of electromagnetic radiation that is on par with the best pathwalkers, and they can do it at the scale of an army.’
It meant that the foe they were dealing with was deeply powerful. If there was any doubt that this was a civilization that was much, much more advanced than they were, then those doubts were gone.
However, that didn’t mean that the elves were done.
They weren’t mere one-trick ponies. ‘Deploy the blue-shifter polarizers.’ Mother Maeria ordered as her younger sisters followed suit. ‘We shall show them what we are capable of when anyone dares to threaten our existence.’
VMMMM…
The large-scale biotechnological siege weapons, shaped like sunflowers, vibrated as they were loaded with negatron matter, filling up their reserves. The elves had researched negatron matter and its applications thoroughly over the past five years, finding many useful ways to deploy the precious form of matter beyond just wormholes.
The sunflower-like siege weapons shook a little before firing once more.
VMMMMM!!!!!
The flood of light that emerged from the weapons was different this time, changing in color as it passed through space. It turned from red all the way to blue, and purple before eventually becoming invisible by the time it reached the laminar army a few seconds later.
The technology being used was one that relied on the principle of blue-shifting antigravity. While normal gravity stretched light, bleeding it of energy, antigravity reduced wavelength.
It made it more intense.
It also made it more difficult to handle the incoming light due to its constantly changing wavelength.
The subsequent result was exactly what they sought from it.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
…
A large onslaught of explosions and impacts struck the outermost layer of the laminar army, causing many of the bubble-like spaceships and spacecrafts to suffer damage, even causing some of them to rupture entirely, causing a strange superfluid to emerge from it, spreading into space.
The laminar army had apparently been caught off-guard by the sophisticated attack that got rid of any easy and low-effort counters to the lasers that the Gaian Army fired.
“Many hits confirmed!”
“Brilliant! Keep firing!”
VMMM!!!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
The long-range siege weapons of the army, primarily composed of elven siege weapons ranging in the millions, unleashed a truly destructive amount of power against the laminar army, trying to inflict tremendous damage upon as many laminar military assets as they could possibly get rid of before the battle closed into close-range warfare.
Unfortunately, if the Gaian army could strike the laminar army, then it also meant that the latter could do the same.
And indeed, they did.
RUMBLE!!!!!
The very fabric of space and time shook as the integuments, spaceships, and spacecrafts began mobilizing a tremendous amount of energy, before unleashing tremendous attacks of great power.
Attacks that moved even faster than light.
VMMMM!!!
They crossed the gap between them in just the blink of an eye as the Gaian army got struck with a large number of blasts.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
They were struck by an invisible force that traveled the distance between them in the blink of an eye. “Aaarrgh!”
“Help! My MECHA is down!”
“Watch out!”
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
Amare’s eyes widened as she defended herself with a simple but powerful guard. She recognized the nature of the force that she was experiencing. It was actually particles that Rui had spent quite a lot of time mastering when he undertook the tedious task of mastering esoteric matter in his Martial Art. “Tachyon condensate!” Amare realized. “They’re using tachyon condensates!”
The only known particle that traveled faster than the speed of light through truly odd interactions with the very fabric of space and time. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
It was vastly superior and harder to defend against compared to the more primitive lasers that the Gaian army hurled at them. The only solace was that the blue shift polarizers that the elves had deployed were advanced enough to allow the Gaian army to inflict damage upon their enemies, even if they were more technologically advanced.
RUMBLE!!!!!
The very fabric of space and time boiled as space between the two armies continued shrinking and continued growing more and more intense. The two armies exchanged a destructive onslaught of extraordinary amounts of energy and high technology.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
The solar system itself lit up brightly as the two armies drew closer and closer, crossing the enormous gap between them. The Gaian army surged forth, unwilling to intercept the alien army that close to the planet where they could potentially inflict great harm on it even before defeating the army protecting the planet.
Soon enough, the two armies approached each other as the sieges halted, allowing the various combat units to draw closer and closer along the flanks.
“ATTACK!” Amare roared, leading forth an army of Martial Artists and MECHAs.”
“ATTACK!” BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
An enormous impact radiated across space and time as the two armies clashed into each other, fighting to the best of their ability to achieve victory.
