The Primordial Record - Chapter 1841: The End (1)

Chapter 1841: The End (1)
This is how Reality ends…
Telmus the Primordial of Defiant Ascension sat on a throne made from Ether, surrounded by his Ebon Hosts, inside a realm created by his Will.
This realm was built inside the Origin Land, and from the outside, it resembles a gigantic star, bigger than any star in the Reality that he had left behind. His eyes were closed, and the spear that signified his throne as the first Law of Defiance rested on both of his palms, as he attuned himself with this weapon.
Telmus had been using a sword from the first time he held a weapon, and he had never wanted to wield another weapon, because there was something about the soul of a sword that spoke to him in a way that no other weapon had ever done before.
To be a better warrior, Telmus had learned about other weapons. Well, when he meant other weapons, he was referring to all the weapons that his godly mind could reach, and they were a lot. Paired with his demonic heritage that led straight to the Primordial Demon, Telmus was able to master every weapon without laying a hand on any of them.
In fact, his blade had never been forged by the hands of another; he had first learned to use wood as a weapon, then he used his blood, before making a blade out of his spirit, then his soul. As he became an Earth God, his blade was then forged from his Intent, and in the battle in the Arena, when he became an Old One, he forged his blade out of Will.
He had always believed that he would wield his blades forever, and dying with a sword in his hand was a dream that felt close to bliss as there ever was, but by becoming a Primordial, he had endured such sweeping changes that the things he considered to be set in stone became as ephemeral as the breeze.
Telmus had never held a spear, but the one he was carrying, felt right, it was as if it had always been with him from the moment of his birth, which was not far from the truth because becoming a Primordial meant he had been transformed from the inside-out into a new being that was so unique that his Origin Core had never been seen before.
Even as he delved deeper into the mysteries of his spear, deepening the bond he had with the weapon, his consciousness was still powerful enough to constantly sweep through his new realm, which was continually expanding with every breath he was taking.
It would eventually reach a limit, and no matter how much stronger he became in the future, it would never grow. Telmus was aware that, as a Primordial, the creation of a Prime Realm was not under his authority, but due to his connection with the Origin Land of Rowan, he was able to create realms that could hold power.
Do not look at lower dimensional beings inside Reality that could create dimensions, technically, they did not have this ability, it was due to the World Stele which gave them a portion od Eosah’s stolen essence, so they could bring the world that only existed inside their spirit into Reality, thereby creating the so-called dimensions all over areality that were now as numerous as stars.
Creation had always been the sole authority of Realities, and Telmus was almost equally fascinated with the continuous changes in his realm as he was with the spear in his hand, because he knew that the realm being created belonged entirely to him. He was not borrowing any power to make it.
If there were ever a day that he decides to leave the Origin Land, then this Realm can be taken with him. Unlike the Origin Land filled with life, his realm was barren, devoid of anything but him, his angels, and his daughter.
Staff was at the boundary of the realm, watching its expansion with rapt attention. After her father’s ascension to the realm of Primordial, she did not hesitate and shattered her foundation, as she decided to rebuild her power using her father’s core law as a concept.
Telmus had agreed to her request, but he had first tried to convince her to pattern her growth to Rowan’s Law of Creation and Origin, but his daughter, proud and beautiful, proclaimed that his law was supreme. He still smiled at that memory.
He might not be as overall powerful as Rowan, who essentially created him, but there was nothing saying a tool was weaker than its maker. His law was new and unique, and Rowan’s influence over it stopped at its creation; everything from her on out was under his control, and the future of Defiant Ascension belonged to him alone. Telmus would never bet against himself because he knew that one day he would grow his Origin to rival even the Creator, Rowan.
The first sign that something was going terribly wrong was a feeling in Telmus’ heart; his heart suddenly began to beat faster, and a profound sense of loss and disquiet started to rage in his heart. ’What is happening? Something is wrong…’
Instinctively, he drew his daughter to his side as he sent a message toward Rowan, “Rowan, something is wrong, I feel a calamity…”
Telmus, as a Primordial rooted in the Origin Land, was deeply connected to this realm, and he was always drawing power to fuel his growth from the seemingly infinite essence inside this realm. Telmus had already drawn a ridiculous amount of essence from the Origin Land, and he had not sensed a single hint of depletion.
This endless energy had always fascinated and horrified Telmus; surely, his power could not be limitless, but with the passing of time, Telmus was slowly coming to the astonishing conclusion that indeed, Rowan might have unlimited energy, and so when the entire Origin Land went dark, as every single shred of energy that pervaded it was sucked away, Telmus took up his spear and readied for battle.
Bursting out of his realm, Telmus beheld a realm that was once filled with life, transformed into a land of silence. The singing trees and the ever-flowing rivers, the dancing birds and prancing fawns… everything was frozen in place as if their essence and soul had been taken away, with no shred of life inside them… Telmus was unaware that this was what it would look like if Rowan took away every single shred of energy inside his body during battle.
Rowan had never been forced to this point before, but the enemy he was facing was beyond anything that could be found in Reality.
Telmus roared in shock and anger to the fragment of Rowan’s consciousness he could still feel in the center of everything, “Rowan, point me to the enemy!”
Life and energy suddenly exploded around the Origin Land, as the infinite surge of energy Telmus had become familiar with took center stage once more, but before Telmus could celebrate the return to the norm, all the life and energy taken vanished once more.
However, Telmus had been paying rapt attention to the changes across the realm, and when the energy vanished, Telmus was actually able to trace it, rotating his spear into the new form he had created, made for battle. Telmus followed the trail of disappearing energy in pursuit.
