Capítulo 1923: The Gift of Unending Vitality
There were many reasons Rowan should have chosen for his decision to become the Primordial of Space, but one of the primary reasons was that Space Origin was the first Origin Force he had explored, and he had met creatures inside it that reminded him of his son.
He could vividly recall the moment he chose to degrade his body and soul and push his consciousness to such a fine degree that he was able to peer beyond the surface layer of Reality. At that time, he did not know he had already crossed the threshold of the Primordial Level.
He had descended past the surface of space, and he had seen the first layer of the void, the Azure Empyrean. Within the layer of Space were the Sky Whales of Creation, guardians and caretakers of the first layer of the Space, and they reminded him of Cloudy, the Cloud Whale of Andar, when they gave out their mournful call.
With the eradication of the Ancient Primordial’s taint inside of Reality, these creatures were now free, and could grow outside the bounds of the Azure Empyrean as Rowan had shattered the barrier over the space of this Reality, in fact, some of the souls on the Road of Eternity belonged to the Sky Whales, as some of the most adventurous among their number sought to see all that Reality had to offer… it was a good thing then that except for those at the ninth dimensional level, Eosah’s Reality was infinite in their perception, meaning there would always be limitless opportunities for exploration and adventure.
Rowan had been standing still when he opened his right hand, and a green flame appeared over it. Vitality that could bring the dead back to life exploded from the flame, and the entire road shuddered, and all the souls on it, in numbers beyond counting, turned towards his position.
They could not see him, even though his body and soul were fully present on this road; all they could see was a tongue of green fire hovering in the air like a massive sun, and from the green flame came relentless waves of vitality and the faint cries of Sky Whales emerging from it.
“That is… a Primordial Ascension! An immortal is about to become a Primordial… hurry, call anyone who can cultivate to get their souls upon the Road of Eternity this instant!”
There were many benefits to cultivate on this road, but one of the most sought-after and rarest of benefits came from the ascension of Primordials. At the moment of their ascension, a Primordial was a crucible of the most fundamental forces of existence, and the souls on the Road of Eternity were able to harvest a portion of those forces that had been filtered through the bridge, making them more docile.
There were many reasons why Primordials were beginning to appear faster after the ascension of both Eva and Circe, and that was because every time there was a new ascension, those on the bridge, depending on their perception and talents, would be able to glimpse the process of reaching this most extreme of levels.
Like a flood of water pouring down a mountain, there was an increasing momentum to the number of Primordials appearing inside Reality as more new Primordials were born, and the souls on the road were repeatedly affected by the exposure to the most fundamental forces in creation.
However, all of the Primordial’s Ascensions were usually done inside the Origin Land, and not on the road itself, because that would be extremely dangerous for all life inside Eosah’s Reality. Eos had already strengthened this broken Reality to the extent that Primordials could easily move through it, but they were forbidden from unveiling their true might or even casting any spells or abilities involving Origin, because that would be enough to shred this entire reality to pieces.
The ascension of a Primordial were hundreds of times more perilous and involved a vast unveiling of power on a scale that most Primordials would not be able to control until they reached the second level of their Origin, and only inside the Origin Land could they find a robust foundation that ultimately mitigated a lot of the environmental tribulation they would face, making their challenges to be a largely mental one.
This meant that Primordials may not gain muvh benefits on the side of the flesh, but this lack could be made up for in time as the Primodial could slowly refine their bodies using Origin Force, and because inside the Origin Land, Time could be slowed to nearly a halt, many Primordials had spent many trillions of years in these time zones to hone their strength further.
If Eos was greedy for the powers of the nascent Primordials, then he could have made the environmental tribulation they faced to be challenging, and if any of them perishes, he would be able to gain a lot of Origin Essence, but that was a shortsided way of looking at the Primordials under his care, because for as long as they were alive, they were contributing a fixed amount of Origin Essence to him every millenia or so, Rowan did not know the precise number of Origin Essence his main body had already harvested, but the increasing growth of his body was a testament that Eos was growing as quickly with more Primordials coming under his domain.
However, Rowan process of becoming a Primordial was different, and he faced no tribulation because he had already gone through them when he first discovered the Origin of Space, and so he was not worried that reaching the Primordial Level would draw any catastrophe towards this Reality, istead it was the opposite as he was going to be further enriching the foundation of the road alongside his elevation to Primordial.
For obvious reasons, he would not be revealing the Origin Force he was comprehending to the souls on the road, and the only thing they would gain was the impossible vitality that was Rowan’s bread and butter. He was going to be the last of the Ancient Primordials, and he did not want his path to disrupt the new creation he was aiming for.
Rowan waited a bit as he unveiled the first level of the Origin of Space; this was to allow more souls to discover the changes on the road and hurry over, but he did not wait too long. Good things came for those who were prepared and fast enough to seize this opportunity.
For the lucky ones, their souls, hence their bodies, would be flooded with vitality, making them almost impossible to kill at their level. Of course, the benefits extend far beyond this, but this was for them to discover in time.
In the distance, he could see the ten Primordials under his banner standing at the doorway of the Origin Land. They hovered in the air for a moment, and as a sign of respect, they all descended to the ground. And alongside everyone here that was on the road, they sat down cross-legged and observed his ascension.
For anyone else, this vitality was a prize they would kill for, but the Primordials here were receiving a separate gift; they would finally be able to see all four levels of Origin displayed in front of them without anything hindering their vision.
