The Primordial Record - Chapter 2055 The First True Immortal

Chapter 2055 The First True Immortal
The three Primordials here could not fully understand the heart of the flow; they only knew it was the guideline for them to find the road that led into the future.
In this place, they would be trapped and ground to death if they could not find a stable structure in the midst of the endless chaos of infinity.
Countless trillions of years passed in mere seconds, as infinity took a toll on the members of the expedition, and as time passed, their energy levels began to wane.
Theoretically, a Primordial should have infinite energy, since their Origin Force itself was a self-sustaining engine that could fuel them forever, but when the Primordial began to push past the levels where their recovery system could match, then they would begin to falter.
Everyone here had burned their Origin Essence to the ground and were beginning to pull from their bodies and souls to aid them. Every recovery rune or medication they brought along was useless, as the power of this place reduced them to dust in mere moments.
Victorious Genesis was the tip of the spear, and for the first time since he was born, he allowed power to flow through his body unchecked; he was no longer working by thought, but by sheer instinct.
Loud cracks erupted from his body, and he began to grow.
From the physical appearance of a boy of seven, Victorious Genesis finally shed his childish body and became fully grown. This was outside his control, the power of Time that he was filtering through his body, so the Old Ones alongside the Primordials here did not turn to dust, which was ridiculous, and even his aging that had been slowed to an extreme level began to loosen.
It was not as if Victorious Genesis was not aging physically before now, but due to his talent and the fact that he was immortal as a Primordial, his growth was to be calculated in trillions of Cosmic Eras, and that was if he allowed himself to age.
All of that barrier was shattered inside this time storm, and he was not even capable of knowing the changes happening to his body and soul as he struggled to push ahead.
However, he was a child of Eos and was given some of the greatest talents in Existence and so it meant that as he grew older and more mature, his power levels grew as well.
He was unaware that when he broke through the fourth layer of Victorious Genesis, he only felt that it became easier to manage the forces a bit.
The energy expenditure was not even the greatest problem they were facing; the mental and spiritual contamination was exceedingly great, but every Primordial and Old One here was the best of the best, and they could push through pain and tribulations unimaginable to most beings in Existence.
And so they arrived, pushing through time, following a faint red dot, even when their bodies failed them, and their souls began to shatter… a faint humming sound could be heard from their bodies, and they were chanting the name of a single being…
“Eos…. Eos…. Eos…”
It was unknown how long they spent during this journey through time; measuring such a distinct linear path of time was impossible in this place… but they reached an end, a small door opened up, and the ten thousand surged through, held by the power of Victorious Genesis.
This is how they descended into this dead world like stars falling from the sky.
Ⓥ
After the ten thousand beams of light fell to the earth, there was silence, and the sound that could be heard came from the bodies of the Old Ones falling to the ground as they perished.
The Primordials had drained everything they had, but they were Primordials, and their Origin Force inside of them ensured that as long as something of them remained, they would always recover, as they did not need to pull power from their surroundings, so it did not matter if there was no life or energy in this world, given enough time, a Primordial would return to their peak.
Time slowly passed, and the last of the Old Ones who had endured for longer than should be possible and was on the verge of even becoming a Primordial, fell.
It was one of the most frustrating deaths possible, because if there were only a bit of life in this world where the power of Origin could have passed through, or if any of the Primordials had opened their eyes, the first Primordial of the fourth generation would have come from this place.
Years went by, centuries, millennia, and only three Primordials remained, their faces twisted as if they were in the throes of a frightening dream. Whatever had happened to them during this journey had severely harmed their foundation, and even after tens of thousands of years had gone by, not a shred of Origin Essence had been produced inside their bodies.
Technically, all three Primordials were dead, but their lifeforce was so powerful they were like insects whose heads had been cut off ,yet their bodies still persevered.
Millions of years passed, then billions, but the three Primordials refused to fall. They were the greatest lifeforms in Existence for a reason, and if not for journeying through unfathomable danger than no one in any Existences before now could even comprehend, none of these three could have possibly been brought low to this state.
Still, the mad genius that approved this expedition understood that a situation like this was likely to happen, and even though the Primordials that had selected themselves for this expedition had seemed random, it was not.
When this task was released to the Hall of Memories, Victorious Genesis saw that two other Primordials had selected two of the three positions that were available, and he took the last. What he could never know was that every Primordial selected themselves for this expedition, but they were quietly rejected and told not to mention that they volunteered.
Serene Ascension already had the three Primordials in mind that he wanted for this expedition, but he could not help himself and conducted a little experiment. He wanted to ascertain how many Primordials would throw themselves into an unknown situation, knowing there was a great chance they may not return alive. The answer shocked and humbled him… all of them.
Nevertheless, he already had his candidates in mind, and one of them, despite the odds, something sparked inside her chest, like the first flame born into Existence.
In the heart of Circe Boreas, the Primordial of Endless Kindling, a spark came to life.
She was the first choice of Serene Ascension, and the only Primordial he could be assured could survive anything. Serene Ascension had studied all the Origin Force of every generation of Primordials, and he soon realized that there was something perverse in Primordials whose Origin Force had the designation of Endless, and although the mindset of the Primordial and their comprehension capacity could reduce the efficacy of their powers, it did not take away from their frightening potential.
Take Circe, for example. Serene Ascension had postulated that if Eos wanted to die in the future, it would be nearly impossible, but there was a chance that he might kill himself if he truly wanted this. Circe was the one he considered the first true immortal born inside Existence, because her endless kindlings would never fade, and no matter how much time passeda, she would always return.
