The Primordial Record - Chapter 2069 A Good Start

Chapter 2069 A Good Start
To the Primordials and everyone else, the life emerging from all over the ten thousand Origin Realms was random and was simply an effect of the realms’ powerful nurturing effects on life.
Only the few Primordials whose concept was close to the soul may suspect that there was something more happening, but their understanding was limited by what they knew.
What no one understood was that the life emerging inside the Origin Realms was not random; no, Eos was pulling them from history, cleansing their Soul Origin of the power of End, and placing them into the Origin Realms for them to be reborn.
Their names on the scales of the Ouroboros Serpents contained all the taints of End accumulated when they perished, leaving only their pure Origin remaining.
When the Ancient Primordials crushed Reality after Reality, most of the souls that were lost were gone, even their Origin, but Eos, using the bone he had discovered from Circe’s dream, saw a path to retrieve all of these lives from End.
He did not fully understand this process, but he realized that this must be due to the actions of Incarnation. Eos did not know how the Incarnation did it, but somehow he must have found a way to link the souls lost inside End to him here in the present.
His Incarnation might be far from him, but they were still connected in such a profound way that only true death and obliteration could shatter that bond.
Eos did not understand what the Incarnation was doing in the past, but here in the present, he could harvest all the souls from the past and merge them into the Origin Realms.
His Origin Land, on the other hand, was still massively expanding, and Eos did not even know how strong he had become, but if the serpents’ ever-expanding size was an indicator, then he should be half the size of Hundun, maybe more.
The only thing that would stall his growth was if there was not enough Origin Essence inside the Primordial Record, but for now, there was nothing to fear.
His weakened appearance made the Primordials believe that Eos was paying a great price for any new Primordial that was born.
Originally, with Eos’s rate of growth, he should be able to bear the weight of a hundred Primordials, but that should be over a span of billions of years as his body grew and adapted to this pressure.
Every Primordial knew that Eos was keeping them safe from the madness of Limbo, and those gave them protective instincts that were almost fanatical. They could not allow Eos to fall, even if they knew he was still stronger than all of them put together; they believed that over time, with more Primordials being created, Eos would soon not be able to even move from his position, and he would become the earth beneath their feet and the heavens above their heads.
Their purpose in life would now be to defend their Origin Land and Realms and keep them safe from the hands of the enemy.
In many ways this was that way things were supposed to play out… but Eos would never let his fate be decided by others, not even by his children.

The 10,008 Supreme Techniques he created were simply a smokescreen for pulling on the souls of the dead through the filter of the Origin Ouroboros scales so that more life would be brought into his Origin Realms.
Of course, these Supreme Techniques were indeed Supreme, and if any one of them had been present in Eosah’s Reality, it would have led to a war across all of it, as even the Primordials would have battled to learn a little of its profoundness.
So, with bloodline, location, and technique, Eos had the three things he needed for creating his New Primordials.
The first three generations of New Primordials were the gray period between when Eos was still perfecting his plans and implementing them, and now that it was mostly complete, it was time to know if everything was going according to plan.
One of the most significant hurdles for reaching the Primordial level was the Tribulation, and this came about as a result of Existence trying to balance the scales and ensuring that those who held a concept were worthy of it.
Every concept was a fundamental building block of Existence, and if someone who was not suitable for it inherited this power, then they had the possibility of reshaping Existence in a way that was unfavorable to its overall well-being.
So, Tribulation served two purposes: the first was to find the most suitable candidate, while pruning off the rest, and the second was to reclaim the resources used by that individual and disperse them back into Existence.
Every individual who reached the peak of the eighth-dimensional level had cultivated vast amounts of resources, and a single peak-level Old One often had enough power inside him to power a lesser-dimensional cluster, not even adding their personal energy stores into the equation.
If Eos were still allowing his Primordials to take the Ancient Path, then the Tribulation they faced would have been beyond his control, but because they were taking a new path and were linking with his Origin Land, he could make certain changes that would benefit any individual who was attempting to become a ninth-dimensional entity.
The first of these changes was that any individual who reached the peak of the eighth-dimensional level and felt the stirring of the concept they resonated with would no longer find a desolate spot and prepare in isolation for their eventual ascension or death.
Instead, they would be brought to the Prime Axis, where they would be placed in the Field of Elysium, a place where the core concepts of Existence were displayed in all of their wonders.
At the moment, Eos was informed that the last of the candidates for the fourth Generation of Primordials had been brought to the field of Elysium, and a strand of his consciousness travelled over to oversee everything, and when he saw the numbers of expectant candidates… he smiled.
Eos knew that not all would make it to the Primordial level, but he was already counting 645 individuals present, and this was a good start.
