The Primordial Record - Chapter 2077 Finishing The Battle

Chapter 2077 Finishing The Battle
Nyxara’s words drew silence from the other Primordials. While her views on this matter were not unexpected, the conclusion she had just come up with was not seen as the best way forward, and the rest looked at themselves, and a silent agreement was passed between them. No, they were not going to attack Eos’ children.
Xyris coughed, “Sister, we have discovered part of Eos’s plans, but would it not be unwise if we alert him to this so early on? You do not tell your enemy when he is making a mistake. If we kill part of his children now, he would never let them leave the Origin Realms, and so we have wasted a perfect opportunity.”
“I do not agree with your words, Xyris,” Nyxara countered, “Think about it, we know that Eos is planning to expand his foundation as a Reality, and these Primordials are the key to his rise, any amount we kill now will only further weaken and slow him down.”
“Boom!” Xylos slammed his hand on the edge of his throne of darkness, sending a shockwave that travelled through this corrupted dimension, as he growled, “Enough of this, Nyxara. I will tell you what Xyris is so cowardly to speak of. We have fought Eos many times using different approaches, and we know his weakness and what hurts him the most. You know, more than any of us, that his greatest weakness is his children. Why would we want to help him get rid of that weakness?”
Nyxara sneered, “Tell me, Demon, are you afraid of him?”
“I would be a fool not to,” Xylos replied coldly, “I would be even more foolish if I break our clear advantage for something that would only lead to chaos we do not desire.”
“As much as I hate to say this,” Vorthas spoke up, “Xylos is right. Right now, Eos has accumulated fewer than a thousand Primordials, while we have gathered millions. In no way is that not an advantage to us. You should also realize that while the Origin Realms have given Eos time to plan and strategize, we also have the same opportunity, and are we not benefiting from it even at the moment?”
Vorthas held up his hand that was shimmering like a living cathedral of green, and massive green eyes stared at his hand in fascination, “I never knew how many secrets were buried in our bodies. Look how strong we are becoming with every passing day. If we knew this secret, Asteroath would never have fallen, or we would have needed to ally ourselves with that damned Beast.”
Eldrithor suddenly chuckled, “Our dear sister, you seem to have forgotten that on the day Eos created that Agreement, it was not necessarily in fear of us, but for the safety of his children. A hundred million years ago, except for your sister, who was stronger with the essence of Asteroath running through your veins, which of us here could have been able to resist him? He may not have been able to kill us all, but most of us would have died at his hands, and you know this is the truth. His heart is his greatest weakness, and if you strike it down, he shall retaliate, and most of here will perish.”
“We should wait,” Elgorath agreed, “We get stronger while he grows weaker. He has chosen his cross, so let him bear it. Why should we lighten the burden on his shoulders? When our armies are ready, and their number covers the entirety of Limbo, we shall attack his petty Origin Realms, and we shall break them. He shall hear the cries of his children as they are torn limb from limb, and in his pain and madness, he shall attack, and we shall take him apart.”
Nyxara gritted her teeth in anger, and in her heart, she was swearing, ‘I want you to die… I want you all to die! Who says I want your help dealing with a pesky insect like Eos? He has his uses, and all of you should obediently serve your own. Your essence should belong to me; none of you deserves this power!’
Outwardly, she smiled although it looked more like a grimace, “I can see the wisdom in all of your words, but I still fear that we are making a mistake allowing Eos the chance to build his foundation. This man, from the dawn of Existence, there has never been anyone like him, nor will there ever be anyone like him again.” She bowed her head, “There is no shame in fearing him.”
The silence in this corrupted dimension was long, as the Masters of Origin felt the true weight of a man that was not even a Primordial hanging on their throat.
“Do you know what we should do?” Eldrithor unexpectedly whispered, “We should kill that damned Beast. A hundred million years ago, he killed our brother, and he must be doing the same as us, absorbing the power of Death from the past. We cannot let him get stronger, and his Origin Essence could feed us before we get to Eos.”
Nyxara vibrated in her throne, and her eyes lit up. The last battle they had fought had been a mistake; they had been fresh from the hold of madness, and they could never have connected the Beast of Final Rest with the Temple of End.
This oversight had led to the loss of their brother, but now, the Primordials were exponentially stronger than they had been a hundred million years ago, and while she could not eat her brothers yet, the Beast would be a nice supplement to her desires.
Like her brothers, the Beast held multiple Origins inside its body, and this was a perfect criterion that fit her hunger; if she could fuse with the power of Death, then the chance that she would need Eos’s intervention was reduced.
She looked up and saw the eyes of her siblings shining, for once they were in perfect accord, and the Ancient Primordials rapidly made final preparations, and three thousand years later, they borrowed the power of death that surrounded this corrupted dimension and slipped into the realm of the Beast.
None of them could see beyond the edge of the ninth dimension, where a large bloody mouth that represented extinction and the end of all things remained and was smiling.
Many things had changed in a hundred million years, and End was pushing itself more into Existence,
This force saw that the Ancient Primordials were on an unstoppable path to clash with the Beast, and then, as if remembering something, it turned towards the Origin Land.
At the Central Axis, deep in the Prime Axis, Eos suddenly looked up.
