The Primordial Record - Chapter 2098 The Tenth Dimension!

Chapter 2098 The Tenth Dimension!
Even though his heart was heavy, Eos did not stop moving forward. New discoveries did not only have to be good news, and Eos knew he was crawling from a place of disadvantage, all to find the truth in the end.
He had not forgotten the throne he had seen when he gained the Will of Truth, and in many ways, all the struggles and the trials he had undergone in his life, they were all for the sake of finding this throne of truth… to finally know all the secrets that had been hidden from him and all of Existence.
At the end of this path, Eos did not know what he would find, but he knew one thing: they were not ready for him, none of them were.
His feet continued to carry him across this road until he reached the ninth dimension, and Eos paused here for a long time as he soaked in the true face of the ninth dimension.
The ninth dimension was a realm of all possible laws, and Eos saw that he had been correct and also wrong about the way he was cultivating his new Primordials, but he was mostly on the right path, since none of the New Primordials would be able to master so many Origins, but if they persevered, they could master other concepts alongside their original concept.
This was a power that was supposed to be left for the Luminious and their descendants, like him and the Ancient Primordials, but normally, this was the power that a Primordial-level being should have. Eos wondered if he corrected the lower dimensions, if it would become easier for Primordials to reach their perfect state.
He was deliberating on this when the road unexpectedly ended. There was not a wall or a gate in front of him; the path just suddenly ended, and Eos felt his heart slow down because he knew that beyond this was what he greatly suspected was the tenth dimension!
Suddenly, his heart that had been still began to beat fast, and a sensation that he had long discarded in the past emerged inside of him… it was fear.
The scale of the deception that Eos was suspecting was so grand, so in-depth in scope, that it eclipsed anything he could imagine before now. The entirety of Existence and all of its powers had been dancing in the hands of someone unknown, and if he stepped past this point, he would find them.
Was he ready for this? Could he ever be ready?
Eos smiled, knowing that the fear in his heart came not because of what was ahead, no matter the monstrosity in front of him, he would proudly face them all, and he would crush them… no, his fear came from the fact that he may find something that he may not be able to solve, that was beyond his power… he feared failure.
He feared not being able to make a difference when the time counted, and before he took another step, he wondered if he should go back and enhance his strength and those of his children before he took this next step.
The thought made sense, and it was deeply tantalizing, but Eos could not help but push it to the side. He could never be fully ready for this, and it would not matter how much he prepared for a dimension that was greater than anything he knew; he would always fall short.
But it did not mean that he could not fight.
Eos walked forward until he stood at the very edge, toes inches from the place where existence itself ceased to be a meaningful concept, and peering ahead made his eyes begin to burn.
The road behind him still glowed faintly, and they were the only tether keeping him anchored to anything real. Before him stretched… nothing.
But it was a nothing that contained everything.
He glimpsed it, but this sight did not come from his eyes as they had already burned away the moment he crossed the ninth threshold. He glimpsed it with the raw core of his being, the part of him that had held an unshakeable will and purpose.
Eyes were useless here, and the only thing that mattered was Will itself, and in this manner… Eos saw the tenth dimension.
If any of his children were to ask him what the tenth dimension was, he would tell them that the tenth dimension was not necessarily a place; it was the outside. And he would leave them to contemplate what this meant, because this comprehension was different for everyone, and what he saw was not what another person beside him would see.
For him, the tenth dimension existed beyond all frameworks of space, time, probability, law, or thought. It was the canvas upon which every possible and impossible existence had been painted, and then erased, repainted, erased again in infinite cycles.
For so long, the birth and destruction of Existence was seen as a tragedy that exceeded the comprehension of even Primordials. Existence seemed too big, too complex, and too infinite to be anything but forever, but here, in the tenth dimension, he could see how everything he knew could be seen as trivial and meaningless… Like a brushstroke that had been erased, repainted, and erased again, many times.
Without the tethers to the Existence behind him, Eos would have been lost in the infinity of Existence. He closed his eyes and began to recall the voices and prayers of his children that he could hear at the depths of his soul. He drew strength from them and kept his mind in place, and he looked deeper into the tenth dimension.
Eos saw the true shape of Existence, and it was not like the sanctuary where all beings were born as he knew it; what he was was a single brushstroke on an infinite wall.
Inside that brushstroke, he saw Limbo as a tiny stain. The Shattered Cradle has a crack no wider than a hair. The Beast of Final Rest and its realm is a single drop of spilled ink trying desperately to become the entire painting.
He saw the six Ancient Primordials, tiny, writhing things, still believing they could devour the whole picture.
He saw himself.
