The Primordial Record - Chapter 2137 The Blade Light

Chapter 2137 The Blade Light
Existence at this moment was like a vast sheet of glass that a dozen mountains had been dropped upon, and it shattered as an infinite host of horrors slammed against the shields of the Origin Realm.
It was unknown whether in the history of all the Existences that had ever been up to this moment, there had ever been a sight like this one, as concentric waves of force rippled out from the endless points of impacts and radiated out into the rest of Existence.
You could not imagine the sound or the sight of this moment, and even the heart of a god would be shaken to death upon seeing this moment.
While the host created by the Primordials was vast, they were not supposed to be truly infinite, for that to happen, they needed much more than a hundred million years to accomplish this, but there was another sneaky hand in the background manipulating events.
Originally, the Ancient Primordials were bad creators, and although they had the potential to create such monstrosities, they should have failed in this task a lot of times before they succeeded, and yet every one of their creations came to life, and expanded quite fast.
End had ensured that every time they made anything that should have been rejected by Origin and sent into End as waste and unfit to leave, End rejected them, and they remained inside Existence, polluting it and shattering the fragile balance that existed within it.
For instance, every creature created by the Ancient Primordials could endlessly multiply, creating countless offspring. And yet, all of these creatures were ridiculously powerful, and they should not be able to expand so drastically in an exponential manner, and Origin would have rejected such a design because it would break the fragile balance of life within as no species in Existence would be able to contend against such an invasive species, but Origin had long being silenced and suppressed and there was only one location left where it still ruled, and it was now under peril.
The shields groaned under the strain of infinity poured upon them, and it did not help that this infinity was hungry and malevolent. Those inside the Origin Realms trembled as the heavens and the earth were covered by blackness and glowing red light, and they knew that if the shields collapsed, the weight of infinity would pour on their heads.
And yet, despite this fear, they maintained a disciplined pace as they proceeded with their task. From the moment they were born, they knew that this day would come, and if the heavens were to collapse, there would be those who would hold it up, and if those who held up the heavens fell, then they would fight to the last, honoring their home and their place of birth.
Countless lives, from mortals to immortals, their fate hung in the balance, and they could only occasionally glance up at the sky to the massive shield spanning the entirety of the heavens and the earth, groaning in pain as it held back the wrath of all endings.
Moments passed, then seconds, then hours… and miraculously, the shield was holding, far past when it should not, and a wave of awe and fearful expectation was arising in the heart of everyone inside the Origin Realm that perhaps the shield could hold… then a cry emerged from the Origin Realm of Serene Ascension, and a blade of light shining with a fierce white color rose from the Realm.
The appearance of this blade sent shockwaves that swept across the realm. This wave was so devastating that it crushed countless dimensional clusters and killed trillions, and that was just from the shockwave that appeared around it as it tore towards the heavens.
Immediately, the attention of the Primordials in the Origin Realm was drawn to this blade light, including the Incarnations of Eos, since seven hundred of them had already conquered their tribulations and were now Primordials.
The possibility of betrayal was always at the forefront of Eos’s thoughts, but he knew that at this point, it was nearly impossible for him to avoid it, and that was because of the state of Nyxara.
Eos had recognized that Nyxara was like Elgorath; she was special and was most likely a Luminious, but she had done something to her mind, and the path of her that should recognize her Luminious heritage had been so fully suppressed that even she was not aware of it.
This could be the same for any of his children under him. The Luminious were not just the strongest beings in Existence; they were also the most cunning, and they were apparently truly immortal. They could infiltrate his ranks from the start, and he would never know unless they revealed themselves, and so Eos knew that this battle was not only from foes from outside, there were also many hidden dangers within, and one of them had shown its hand.
The blade light tore through the air, and thousands of Primordial light rose up against it, but the light tore through them all, and although it dimmed a little bit, the force of nearly two thousand Primordials, including seven hundred of Eos Incanation, was not enough to hold back the blade light.
Dozens of Primordials near the blade light fought through the shockwave of the ascending blade, sacrificing themselves to stand in front of the blade, but it was useless; their bodies were shattered, and of the dozen that stood before the light of that blade, only two survived to be resurrected in the Mountain of Ascension.
The power of this blade had been enough to tear through the barriers of Eos’s Origin Land and destroy the Origin of the Primordials inside it.
Rowan, now the Primordial of Light, was the fastest of the Incarnation, and his body blurred through the distance, pursuing the blade light. In his perception, the entirety of Existence went still, and the only thing moving was him and the blade light.
It was at this point that he saw that what he took for a blade light was incomprehensibly dense and complex, almost as if he was looking at a weapon and not a wave of light. On the side of the blade light, as if engraved with a bloody blade, was the screaming face of Prime… it was as if someone had torn off his face and used it as a blade.
