The Primordial Record - Chapter 2151 The Greed of Luminious Silence

Chapter 2151 The Greed of Luminious Silence
The Primordial Record was unlike other Singularities that perished alongside its host. This Singularity seemed to have an endless nature that none of its kind shared, and no matter the sort of host that was given to it, the Singularity tried as much as it could to change their fate, but it always failed.
However, its failures were not useless. The Hosts that were permitted to fuse with the Primordial Record were not just hosts that were born in this present Existence, but many Existences from the past.
The Luminious had been gathering the best bloodlines from different Existences; some possessed peculiar characteristics, while others were just plain special, and due to the fact that they wanted to understand the full capability of this new discovery, and especially for a special Singularity like the Primordial Record, the Luminious had gone all out, and delivered countless species to the Primordial Record to fuse with, hoping to understand its unique abilities.
With all of these failures, the Primordial Record began to gather bloodlines that were extremely powerful, but due to the interference of the Luminious and the overall chaotic nature of its many hosts, the bloodlines inside of it were fractured into pieces and could not be remade into something that was whole.
If these bloodlines could be recreated whole, then the power of the Primordial Record would be too dangerous to be kept inside Existence, and as it was, there were many among the Luminious who believed the Primordial Record should not be rated beside the other two Supreme Singularities, the Cube and the Blade.
Existence had been broken from the beginning, and the Singularity could not reach its full potential. The Primordial Record was powerful, unique, but useless without a suitable host, and that host turned out to be born not too long ago, the product of the endless experiments being done by the Luminious on the inhabitants of every Existence that was born.
Unlike the greatest monstrosities that were known and feared by the Luminious, Eos had not shown much promise from the beginning.
He was a small piece of Hundun that had been cast into the expanding Existence, and taken as one of the small experiments that could be done with the Primordial Record before this Existence was destroyed.
Among the many Existences in the past, this Existence showed little promise, there was no grand aberration, or surprise energy mutation, and because the actions of Luminious Transformation was too radical, this Existence was not to be given time to develop else it would shatter the boundaries laid in place and the Luminious would no longer be able to control the rise and fall of Origin.
Normally, the lifespan of an Existence was calculated in many trillions of Cosmic Eras, and yet this Existence was barely 800 million Cosmic Eras. This number was so ridiculously short that it was almost laughable to call this the lifespan of an Existence, and this would certainly go on record for being the Existence with the shortest lifespan.
With all this in mind, Eos was born at the end of a doomed Existence. An Existence that was expanding outside its boundaries, and perhaps the birth of Eos should not have been taken as a simple affair, but the child had truly not shown any spectacular talent.
However, all of this had changed the moment Eos and the Primordial Record were placed together, for the final round of experiments before this Existence was washed clean and a new one created in the far future.
Together, Eos grew wings and began evolving rapidly, piecing together broken pieces of himself and moving in directions that were wholly unexpected.
It wasn’t until recently, as Luminious Silence was studying the Bloodline Avatar of Eos, Chronomancer Prime, that he understood one of the reasons for Eos’s special nature, and it turned out to be the broken bloodlines inside the Primordial Record.
The Primordial Record was seen as a failed Singularity, and it was now being used for its peculiar ability to store Primordial Essence and Force. Origin power still irritated the Luminious because they could not be fully assimilated by this power due to their nature, and so the Primordial Record was used as a storehouse… This was how low the Primordial Record had fallen in the eyes of the Luminious, and bonding it with Eos was just seen as one final experiment before everything was wrapped up.
It turned out that although all of the bloodlines inside the Primordial Record from multiple Existences had been broken into pieces, the Singularity had created a peculiar method of harvesting those broken shards of power, and that was using the actions and the Willpower of its host to create new and unique bloodlines from the fallen.
However, until recently, when Eos broke the few monitoring tools that were placed inside the Primordial Record, they had always thought that Eos was following the proper path of evolution and ascension that any user of the Primordial Record would enjoy.
In fact, Eos was seen as a failure for a Host due to how little of the Singularity’s power he could access, and his evolution was rather lackluster.
However, although Eos was not evolving into a greater threat in an instant, he was gaining something much worse, and that was endless potential. There was a reason why one of his random Incarnations could reach the fifth layer of Origin or why he could be so hard to kill, and the simple answer was that Eos could become anything given enough time and resources.
The Singularity had created a miracle, a being whose potential was so great that there was no theoretical limit to his growth
The Primordial Record had been hiding the truth right in front of them the entire time, and the Luminious were far too arrogant to see it.
Luminious Silence had seen glimpses of this endless potential in the bloodline Avatar, Prime, and he had felt great greed. Clearly, Eos must not have realized the true purpose of his talents, and did not know the treasure he was. If he did, he would not have delayed his growth by caring for those around him and just focus on growing as strong as possible.
Eos was supposed to be the spoil of Luminious Transformation, as the youngest Luminious, the next ten Existences to be born would primarily fall under his control, and this was to help Luminious Transformation gather all the resources he needed to add his dominion to the Endless Tower.
Luminious Silence was meant to be an observer and a helper, but he saw the endless potential of Eos’s bloodline, and he craved that power. He could not just claim it; instead, he needed a way to collect it without causing any issues with Luminious Transformation, and Eos’s lazy nature was a way to do so.
To Luminious Silence, Eos had endless potential, and inside a broken Existence like this one, it would be impossible for Eos to ever fulfill that potential.
Becoming Serene Ascension inside the Origin Realm was rather simple; if Eos had been more strict with all lifeforms inside these realms, Luminious Silence would never have been able to become a part of it, and from that moment, displaying a small part of his talent was enough to draw the attention of Eos and his bloodline Avatar.
However, to get to the Bloodline Avatar was rather tricky; he would need to entice Prime, and what better way to entice this being than to provide answers to a problem that even Luminious Silence did not fully understand.
