The Primordial Record - Chapter 2152 You Lose

Chapter 2152 You Lose
The Luminious had long hypothesized that there were greater layers beyond the fourth layer of Origin, but this had never been confirmed.
The power of Lumina shared a common foundation with Origin, and as much as the Luminious hated to admit it, Lumina seemed to feed on the consciousness of Origin to acknowledge itself, and if there were only two layers to Origin, then there would only be two layers to Lumina.
Perhaps if they were more talented, they could push the power of Lumina to stand outside the domain of Origin. This power certainly had the potential for this, but the strength of their bloodline was so powerful that they could not separate the power of Lumina from their bloodline.
The bloodline of Black Zenith was like a storm, and Lumina was the lightning inside of it. No matter how the lightning tried to tear itself free from the storm, it could not travel far before it was dragged back into it.
So, they could only copy the mysteries of Origin and apply them to Lumina, meaning that essentially, the Luminious did not even understand their own legacy.
However, Luminious Silence did not know that in the depths of End, an Incarnation of Eos, under the influence of Luminious Transformation, Enoch, had touched Lumina.
Enoch was too young and did not understand the mysteries of Lumina, seeing it as just a special power to show the supremacy of the Luminious.
However, he did not know that for so long, Lumina was tied to mimic the effect of Origin due to the overwhelming power of their bloodline, but for the first time since the beginning of all Existences, someone had gained the power of Lumina, and they were not burdened by the overwhelming nature of the Bloodline of Black Zenith.
Of course, due to the fog of war and the Luminious nature of acting on their own, none of the Luminious except for Enoch knew of this change, and he did not know the significance.
However, Existence was ending, and so many paths were converging. Secrets were being revealed, and unexpected changes were coming.
Luminious Silence knew nothing of this; all he was concerned with millions of years ago inside the Origin Realms was that he had been focused on gaining the power of Eos, and the path to gain that power was with his bloodline Avatar, Prime.
Using the desire for Prime to find the fifth layer of Time, the mysterious path of the Future, Luminious Silence had found some old research about Time from the archives of the Luminious.
He did not take the best research theories, only the ramblings of a mad creature dead many Existences ago, that theorized some crazy research about the nature of time.
All he knew about this process was that it was extremely energy-intensive, and Prime would have to request the aid of Eos, and when he did this, the trap, Luminious Silence, that had been embedded inside the technique would activate.
As he suspected, Prime and Eos were too ignorant about the nature of time, and they began to run the experiment.
If everything had gone as Luminious Silence had expected, Prime would have been dragged into a storm of time and possibilities, the Primordials he sent on this journey would have been pushed into broken Parallel Dimensions where nothing made sense.
This would shatter the consciousness of the Primordials inside of Prime’s river of time and place him under the control of Luminious Silence.
However, to the anger and endless curiosity of Luminious Silence, they had succeeded. Somehow, this technique had worked, whether it was due to the endless potential of Eos and Prime, who seemed capable of turning trash to treasure.
Luminious Silence had watched with endless fascination as Prime began to journey towards the fifth layer of Time.
As much as Luminious Silence wanted to stop Prime from reaching the fifth layer of time, he knew that he needed this bloodline avatar to be weakened for the trap to work, and so he had to agonizingly watch as the blundering fool acquired a power that the Luminious could only dream of.
Everything was going as planned, although Prime detected his malice, but it was already too late, and even if Prime refused to merge with Eos, he would have no choice after his consciousness faded.
And then, out of nowhere, the end war began.
Luminious Silence had expected the pathetic defenses to crumble in no time, especially when he could not sense Eos anywhere inside the Origin Realms, but soon he realized that Eos was not present, and so too were their pawns, the Ancient Primordials, not present as well, and that meant that the defenses were not going to break.
As ridiculous as it might sound, Luminious Silence had gone over the defenses plan for the shielding of the Origin Realms, to prove his genius as Serene Ascension and to draw the gaze of Prime, he had been one of the designers of the shields, and he knew that it would be impossible for the armies of the Ancient Primordials, no matter how vast to break it down.
He made his move and revealed the portion of the Eternal Tower that had been sunk into the core of the Origin Realm of Serene Ascension.
The plan was to absorb the entire Origin Realms into the Eternal Tower, and with this power, he should be able to push his position to be among the top three in the entirety of the Eternal Tower.
There were 108 Luminious that had been created by the Great One, all children of his noble blood, and the Eternal Tower was a way for them to preserve and accumulate their strength over the endless ages.
This tower took different forms and had many functions, and for the Liminious, this tower was home. It was the single most powerful structure in all Existences, and for the Luminious, it served as the only reliable method to rank their status and power.
Luminious Silence was ranked 75th, but there was a time when it was ranked much higher at 19th. A series of unfortunate decisions and bad luck had slowly eroded his ranks over the endless eternities, and if he succeeded in what he wanted to do, it was not impossible for him to push to the top ten position.
He did not aspire for first, second, or third position because the most ancient and most powerful of the Luminious had taken that position, but it always irked him that Liminious Transformation, even as a child, had been given the ninth position at birth, and there were rumors that he was expected to compete for the first position in the Eternal Tower.
And so, from the moment that Luminious Silence struck the shield to the eruption of Primordial Light inside the Eternal Tower, it had not been very long.

Prime lay spread-eagled on the ground, with spikes of silence containing the agony of dying realities driven into all of his limbs, his heart, and his forehead.
At the moment, he had been skinned, revealing the intricate nature of his internal organs that resembled a fusion between man and machine, as there were many living cogs and gears inside his body made from crystalline substance that rotated in motions that would drag an Old One to madness if they tried to look at it for more than a few moments.
His left eye resembled a black hole that was continuously draining all of his vitality, but despite all of the torture, Prime still kept his cool, and he did not make any sound.
There was an option for him to stop this process, to give up on bringing the children of his father from the future, and cut off his path to the fifth layer of time.
If he did this, it was possible for him to escape, but Prime knew he would not take this step, and Luminious Silence knew it as well, and so he was not even tied up, and Luminious Silence had been torturing him for what seemed like an eternity, to see if Prime would try to run.
“The chain that binds you so tightly to my butchering table is your convictions, and oh, how I would love to see into your mind when everything you hold on to has shattered. Ah, what am I saying? I can see into you anytime I want.”
This was the first thing that Luminious Silence had said to Prime before he began skinning him.
Above his left eye, a complex formation had been created that acted as a clamp over the eye, sealing the process for completion.
Originally, the Primordials sent into the future should have returned, but with this clamp, a barrier had been placed over this process, and without them returning, Prime could not complete the final step.
A moment ago, Luminious Silence had forged a new spike of silence and was slowly bringing it to Prime’s right eye.
If he were stabbed through that eye, he would go blind and lose all his senses, except his ability to feel pain.
Luminious Silence had gone through every piece of Prime’s body, and he had described in detail how he was going to make that happen.
The spike was an inch away from his eye when the head of Luminous Silence was thrown back as if he had been hit by an invisible punch, and he cried out in pain, irritation, and profound disbelief.
And in the next moment, Prime felt the vibration of light in a way that he had never sensed before, and he smiled.
His skinless face slowly turned towards Luminious Silence, and he said, “You lose.”
