The rise of the pervert primordial - Chapter 775 - 775: The fourth day of the development trial (part 8)

“Hisss!”, the spectators also knew that the trial was in Espi’s bag so they started cheering on her, they couldn’t help it, the little wyrm has earned their admiration by passing each and every of the three trials with flying colors, she broke all the records as well.

Their cheers however were interrupted by the three royal guards who after exchanging gazes, immediately shouted.

“Hissss!!!”, that was them calling the guards at the same time, which resulted in forty, four meter anacondas encircling the trial area, trapping both the spectators as well as Espi and the old king cobra leader inside.

“Hisss”, the young anaconda leader looked at the three royal guards to then ask “What is the meaning of this?”, to which the three royal guards glared at Espi as they answered, something along the lines of “What is the young leader talking about, we are capturing an outsider that invaded our territory accompanied by a sworn enemy of our race that also violated the verdict of the king and to prevent any accidents we’ll all remain here until the king arrives to pass down judgement on them”.

“Hisss!”, the young leader immediately got enraged, originally, he honestly only wanted to make use of the situation to weaken the authority of the royal guards, but his pride as a member of the green anaconda race didn’t allow him to let a champion that has surpassed the three trials not receive the reward they deserved.

“Hisss!”, the public also started exclaiming with incensed voices, “She passed the trials so she deserves to be given the recognition of our race!”, is what they were claiming, it might have been different if Espi or the old king cobra had killed a member of their race, but that wasn’t the case.

Everyone saw that after a close look, the three border guards which the little wyrm has brought with her, were perfectly fine, they only lost consciousness but they weren’t injected venom at all.

Seeing the spectators start getting too agitated the three royal guards screamed at them.

“Hisss!!!”, they told them to shut up and also ordered the guards surrounding the area to enforce public order, which made quite a few of the spectators be forced to grit their teeth and sit down.

Basically, all the four-meter sized anacondas of the race were employed as guards, besides a couple older anacondas that had reached that size only at their later years and the young leader, so, they were no match for the guards, it was a fight of eight against forty and that is without taking into account the three royal guards.

Having suppressed the public which threatened with rioting, the three royal guards smiled to their insides as they saw the fourth royal guard appearing far into the distance.

‘Finally, that idiot took too damn long to return!’, thought the three royal guards as they took a sigh of relief.

They might not be smart but they sure know how to follow orders, so the king of water beasts had given them a plan of action of they ever saw someone attempting to gain the support of the race for claiming a duel against her.

Three of them were to take control of the situation by any means needed, while the fourth which is the one who can move the fastest either in water or land, is to rush to her and inform of the situation.

So earlier, the fourth royal guard rushed to the king of water beast’s side, and this is what they have been waiting for, after all, no matter how enraged the normal members of the green anaconda race might be, they can’t defy the king of water beasts head on.

The three royal guards found weird how slow the fourth one which is known for his rapid speed was moving, but they simply thought that he was tired after rushing to and from the secret residence of the king of water beasts which leads to the territory of the reticulated boa race through a hidden underground passage, or at least that’s what they believed until they heard the fourth royal guard’s next words.

“H-Hisss!”, with a trembling but still loud voice the fourth royal guard said something along the lines of “I-I have something to confess, the females that are sent to join the “exploration team” aren’t at a faraway territory securing another living area for our race, they are dead”.

“…”, after a momentary sepulchral silence, the spectators immediately exploded with loud hisses demanding to know what did the fourth royal guard meant with that.

Being the cunning anaconda she is, the king of water beasts didn’t openly kill any of the females that reached the five meter mark in the open, instead she created something called “exploration team”, a group that was formed by the largest members of their race which had the duty to go out of the green anaconda race’s territory to look for other areas where they could live.

It was all false of course, the anacondas that left to join said “elite” group, were all killed by the king of water beasts in secret the moment they arrived at the secret area designated for that, with the help of the reticulated boa race.

Originally only the royal guards and their closest aides knew about the previous, however the young leader who followed his mate in secret because he wanted to congratulate her for joining the elite group after surpassing the five meter mark, stumbled upon the scene of her being killed by dozens of reticulated boas while his older sister watched the whole thing.

Enraged, he of course jumped in to fight them to death, but after he killed one reticulated boa and received multiple wounds, the king of water beasts who needed a puppet to be in the leader position, told him that if he ever told anyone about this, she’ll kill all the young anacondas and pin the blame on him.

And with that, the young leader got to live against his own wishes, since he wanted nothing more than kill the one that landed the killing blow on his late mate even if it costed him his life.

However, he who took his duties as the leader of the green anaconda race seriously even if he was nothing but a powerless puppet, couldn’t bear to sacrifice dozens of young members of his race for a personal vendetta.

That being said, he still couldn’t let go of the burning hatred he felt towards the king of water beasts, so he looked for someone that absolutely would never side with her and that’s how he ended up telling both that secret and the reason behind the fall from grace of the king cobra race, to the old king cobra leader.

“Hisssss!!!”, listening to the fourth royal guard revealing such information, the other three immediately cussed at him “What the hell are you doing, are you crazy, how dare you utter such rubbish!”, is what they yelled.

Which of course made the fourth royal guard shrink a bit, he was betraying the king of water beasts after all, but then a voice coming from the woods behind of him, made him feel the urge to cry.

“Huh, what was that, finish what you were saying, unless you want to go back to the tree”, said a cold girl’s voice, which made the fourth royal guard shiver in fear as he was reminded of a hellish experience that he’ll never be able to forget for the rest of his life.

To understand why the fourth royal guard was trembling in fear out of nowhere, especially when he couldn’t understand what that voice was saying, we must go back to when he was rushing at full speed towards the residence of the king of water beasts.

Just as he was about to switch from land to water, he found himself in front of some weird “creatures”, the next thing he knew is that his body was entangled around a tree before one of the creatures started beating him up while laughing.

And that’s how the nightmare started, the fourth royal guard felt his body scream every time he took a hit, and to his horror he didn’t bleed nor suffer any wound, also so no matter how much he was beaten he couldn’t faint and this continued straight for almost an hour, until he the terrifying creature with red eyes finally stopped.

What happened is simple, Aster foresaw the plan of action of the anaconda, given that the royal guards are incompetent easy to manipulate fools, they of course wouldn’t be left in charge of taking care of actually threatening situations, so if something like that presented itself, they a 100% of the times will rush towards the king of water beasts to inform her and ask for instructions.

So, while Espi and the old king cobra leader were kicking a fuss at the living area of the green anaconda race, Aster divided the group and sent them to capture the other border guards who after being asked under Vivian applying mental pressure on them with the help of king cobra’s venom and her own blood, they informed of the overall direction in which they have seen the royal guards move to leave their race’s territory.

And with that bit of information, combined with a quick glance at the environment Aster created a “net” in the area that bordered with water bodies since the royal guards being anacondas and wanting to move as fast as possible would at some point change from land to water, and the royal guard entered the trap by himself, one must say that the fourth royal guard is really unlucky though.

Because of all the possible people he could have stumbled upon, he fell into Alice’s hands, and the wild dragon princess who couldn’t interrogate the other border guards her way, since they needed it to be as fast as possible, vented her anger on the royal guard.

Of course, the previous was also allowed because they had the time, since how long was Espi going to take for the trials was decided beforehand after obtaining information regarding the trials and their respective records, from the three border guards which Alice had interrogated earlier.

So, as you can see, from the very beginning Aster had grasped the situation completely in his hands, and the royal guards were mere clowns dancing in his palm, of course his plan required for the little wyrm to perfectly play her part but Aster didn’t doubt Espi’s abilities in the slightest, and even if something went haywire, he trusted that the little wyrm would be able to solve it on her end.

Anyway, after being beat up by Alice for a whole hour, the fourth royal guard’s fear of her outweighed the loyalty, love and admiration he had for the king of water beasts, which is why the moment Alice appeared within his field of sight, he immediately spilled the beans.

“Hisssss!!!”, as if his life depended on it, the fourth royal guard screamed as loud as he could “It was under the order of the king of water beasts, that all females surpassing the five-meter mark are to be killed as soon as possible, so that no challenger can come from our race ever, all this with the cooperation of the royal guards, their closest aides and a select group from the reticulated boa race!”.

Needless to say, but the anacondas got enraged on the spot and this time it wasn’t only the spectators, among those who worked as guards, there were some who had mates, or female family members who had joined the exploration group, whose eyes got bloodshot on the spot.

Out of the forty guards, around thirty were completely in the bag of the king of water beasts, but the remaining ten immediately tried to charge towards the three royal guards who had tricked them into working for them as a way to “honor” their families while their mates or relatives supposedly worked in the exploration team.

“Hisss!”, with a loud shout from the royal guards, the enraged anacondas were stopped by the other guards, only for the largest members among the spectator anacondas to also jump into the fight with the young leader giving the order.

And so, a chaotic group fight broke in the trial area, the three royal guards saw that things looked bad for them and directly aimed to take the young members of their race as hostages to control the situation, but the moment they moved, the old king cobra leader stood in their way.

More accurately in the way of two of them, who were the ones that had suggested to the king of water beasts to not only kill one of the three five-meter cobras in order to provoke him, but also a part of the young members of the cobra race.

“Hisss!”, needless to say but the old cobra was furious, he expanded his hood and directly charged towards those two, while the third royal guard continued on his way.

‘If we get a hold of the others, we can force the other guards to side with us, then suppressing the young leader and the others will be easy’, is what he thought, as he reached the area were the young anacondas were.

Since the other relatively large members had joined in the fight against the guards, only a barely three-meter anaconda was left to protect the children, of course seeing the five-meter large royal guard appear full with killing intent, the three-meter anaconda who is a young female by the way, felt intimidated.

“Hissss…”, the royal guard who was menacingly hissing at the young female anaconda and the children suddenly had his mouth forcefully shut by a strong impact.

The royal guard in question flew a couple of dozens of meters to then cough blood and repeatedly shake his head one of his eyes was filled with blood and couldn’t see anything, he forced himself to raise his body and look at the area where the children were, just to see a pretty white snake proudly standing in front of them.

He also recognized the object which had nearly dislocated his jaw and blinded one of his eyes with a single hit, it was the little wyrm’s tail of course, as to why Espi didn’t kill him on the spot, when she could have done it with ease, it’s because this is a fight of the green anaconda race, they are rebelling against the king of water beasts, so it’s something that they have to do themselves.

Well, the old king cobra had a blood feud with the other royal guards, so he was an exception to the previous.

“Hey, what are you waiting for, I only need one sandbag, so either you die or he dies”, Alice’s voice, like the whispers of a demon, reached the fourth royal guard and though he didn’t understand a single word of it, the intention behind was clear, if he didn’t give a proof of absolute submission by killing one of the loyal subordinates of his previous master, he will die.

“Hisss!!!”, since it was do or die, the fourth royal guard pounced onto the one that just tried to take the children anaconda hostage and both entangled in a fight to the death.

All this while Alice childishly looked at Kana with a smirk as she said.

“You see, though I can’t talk with them, it’s not hard to “communicate” with those guys, now I have a mule and a sandbag to do annoying errands for me~”, the wild dragon princess was competitive even with Kana, so she of course felt jealous every time Aster praised her for her unique ability to understand and get along members of other races, so she was showing that she could do something like that, her own way though, instead of “friend of all” like Kana, Alice was more like “tyrant from hell”.

“What communication, you just beat the hell out of that anaconda, so he is extra sensitive to your violent mood”, said Aria to which Alice shrugged.

“Humph, it’s not my fault that they have a weak mind, my “woundless fist” doesn’t hurt nearly as much as mom’s training sword from back then”, she said which made Aster sigh to his insides.

‘Alice wasn’t normal to begin with, but this is partially your fault as well mom’, he thought making the dragon mother who was watching everything unfold, from within the mind space chuckle.

Lilia used a similar technique as what Alice was using, so that when training both Aster and Alice, she wouldn’t actually wound them, the pain was still there though since she took their capacity to be able to protect themselves, really seriously, it was one of the few things in which Lilia wouldn’t be soft at all even when it came to Aster.

Leaving that aside and after a heated-up fight, the royal guards and their close aides were defeated, well, the three royal guards and around half of the guards working for them were dead, while the rest of the guards seeing that things had gone south, surrendered on the spot.

Two of the royal guard were killed by the old king cobra’s venom, while the third one was killed by the fourth royal guard, who had already suffered a grave wound due to Espi’s tail.

“Hissss!”, the young leader shouted claiming victory which was followed by the guards and other members of their race who fought the royal guard’s group, unfortunately the celebration for freedom will have to wait until later, since they won’t be truly free until the king of water beasts is dead and the young leader knew it better than anyone else.

“Hisss”, with a single hiss, the young leader ordered the guards who were loyal to their race, to throw the ones that had surrendered into “prison”, yup you heard right, the green anaconda race actually knew the concept of prison, which of course caught Aster’s attention, it wasn’t hard to guess that it was implemented by the king of water beasts.

‘Exploration team and now prison, that anaconda has shown too much human behavior for it to be a coincidence’, thought Aster as he saw the prison in question, it was basically a rock pit nearly twenty meters deep where some kind of plants with needles that secreted a viscous fluid grew on its walls.

“It’s a numbing venom, being prickled by the needles won’t kill you, but you’ll lose mobility until the venom is purged from the body”, said Vivian as she of course harvested some samples of the plant in question for medicine making.

The only big “weakness” of the anaconda race is their lack of venom and poison resistance, so this was a place obviously designed to prevent escaping, because while the prisoners could climb through the walls, they’ll for sure would have their bodies pierced by those needles, and then the guards waiting above the pit will be able to subdue them and throw them back into the prison.

What’s more, those who attempted to escape will be deprived of meals and water for some time as punishment, it was quite a thoroughly thought system, but let’s not focus on that for now.

“Hisss?”, the young leader looked at the old king cobra leader and the little wyrm who is the champion supported by the two of them to ask what was their plan, because in his mind the old king cobra leader should be the one leading this whole operation.

Only to see the old cobra shake his head to then gaze towards Aster, the old cobra was more than impressed with Aster’s methods now, everything happened exactly as he said it was going to, and now they had what they needed to start a duel with the king of water beasts.

And so, Aster found himself being looked at with expectation by both the old king cobra and the young anaconda leader.

“Our next stop is the reticulated boa race’s territory, we are going to break through the frontal entrance and cause a big scene, I trust you have no trouble killing a boa or two, right?”, said Aster to which the young anaconda leader’s eyes shone with killing intent for a second, he of course wanted to, but after a moment he shook his head in response.

“Hisss”, his words were translated by Kana for the commodity of the group.

“He says that unlike other races, the reticulated boa one has exponentially grown their size in secret, they have four times the number of guards the green anaconda race has and all of them are loyal to their leader, besides a couple of elder boas who have no idea of what their leader is doing in secret with the king of water beasts, and young as well as children, everyone else would be an enemy”, said the little girl.
