The Villain's Story - Chapter 809 - 809: Sealed Being (3).

The first ever recorded usage of the Unique Skill, Lapsus, was in the one hundredth iteration. It was on the plains of Dragonum, the home world of the Dragon Species. An event no Supreme being could forget.
All of them were there for it, all of them. Every Supreme being had arrived at the home world of the Dragons, a Prime world that could actually contain their existences without being split apart, and they all stood and watched a dark portal.
A portal connected to the Abyss. All portals that led to a layer of the Abyss had the same dark hue; however, this one was different. It was not the gateway for a horde of demons, lorded over by demon lords, nor was it the gateway of the demonic beasts. This one was utterly black.
It was no gateway for an army, like many that belonged to the abyss. It was intended for one man, and one man only.
The Supreme Dragons, the Supreme God Beasts, and a handful of Supremes of the other species gazed at the man who entered through the portal.
Lusterless black hair, eyes devoid of light, and a pale expression soon hidden by a scaly helm. The armor he adorned was worn and torn, it was dirty and filled with rust, but that didn’t seem to bother the man.
Once, it had been the greatest piece ever forged in the abyss, but now? It was just a few metal sheets clinging to a man’s body; they served little purpose now, having lost their enchantments and skills.
All the equipment the man had was worn and torn, except one. A spear. A single spear held tightly in his grasp, a spear blade of lusterless metal and flowing gold, and the shaft of black wood of unknown origins.
It was the only piece of equipment he had that was actually worth something, and the only piece of equipment he would need.
Aranus, controlled by the Abyssal conscience, stepped upon the grass of Dragonum, tainting it with the colors of the Abyss. Chaos mana surged through from the portal, but none of it could overpower the natural mana of the world of the dragons.
The eyes of every Supreme Being locked in on Aranus below, and the Abyss responded. It raised his right hand and gave a middle finger to all of the Supreme beings above.
Afterward, it promptly left Aranus, leaving only a single command behind on the soul it had contracted, cursed, and chained.
Fight.
And what followed afterward was just a fight that lasted for years. A single man against every Supreme being that existed.
Years, it lasted years, but in the end, Aranus had won. He had subdued every Supreme being, but at the end of it all? It wasn’t even him.
It was the Abyss, who walked over the ruined world and mocked every Supreme being. He laughed at them, who were powerless to even talk back. Disrespected them in every way he could, and took pleasure in the situation.
But it’s mocking laughter, its crude remarks, stopped as he approached one particular supreme. A Dragon of Golden scales, barely touched by the chaos that had ensued. She was the only one who wasn’t knocking on death’s door. Everyone else was powerless, but she still had strength.
It wasn’t because she was strong, but because she was the only one Aranus had spared, the only dragon he tried his utmost not to harm, even under the command of the Abyss.
As it approached, she silently stepped back. It wasn’t the Abyss she was afraid of, not a single soul present there was afraid of the Abyss, but rather the body it inhabited, the soul it captured.
The waves of power the body unleashed were the reason she stepped back. And perhaps the original owner was why she stopped, and stepped forward in elven form, discarding the defenses of a dragon.
Only to have her neck grasped by a metallic, bloody, and ruined hand. Aranus’s armor had long since melted into his skin. She tried to talk, but everything that came out of her mouth was forgotten.
Never to be heard again.
“He isn’t here, not right now.”
The Abyss spoke as his grip tightened around her neck; the smile had long left its face, replaced by a scowl.
“Ah, he’s such an annoying man, isn’t he?”
A hateful expression appeared on its face.
“One hundred times, One Hundred!”
It muttered each word with so much hate. Every single letter felt as if it were carved with endless amounts of hate.
“ONE HUNDRED FUCKING TRIES! AHA!”
Before it burst into maniacal laughter and threw her to the ground, stepping on her neck with Aranus’s melted foot. There was… relief in that laughter.
“But finally… FINALLY! He’s asleep. One hundred damn times and finally, he grew tired of it all and went to sleep…”
Allowing the Abyss full control. Aranus was no longer there, silently sleeping inside the massive size of his soul. His consciousness was not there to stop the Abyss anymore.
“I’ve always wondered… You know?”
A mysterious energy began to erupt from Aranus’s hand, as the Abyss looked at it with a mix of glee and fear.
“He never let me use it, even try it out! The skill description was so, so fascinating.”
You couldn’t remember the color of the energy, the size of it, or the exact amount of power it unleashed. But you could just know it was there. It would disappear and appear out of existence, in and out of your mind, constantly.
‘I’ve always damn wondered… what this skill can do?”
It brought it towards her., Its gaze seethed with curiosity and apprehension as it cast the skill for the first time.
[Unique Skill: Lapsus has been used.]
On that day, of the hundredth iteration, on the sacred plain of the ancestral home of the Dragon species, Three Supreme beings and seven divine beings were erased from existence.
The first victims of Lapsus.
