The World Conquest: Giving Birth To Become A God - Chapter 887: End of Black Sigil

Chapter 887: End of Black Sigil
Saying goodbye to Tiara, Maximus returned to the Aeon Plane.
Watching his family emerge from seclusion one after another, a smile bloomed on his lips.
“Congratulations, you’re now officially Archons~”
Beside him, from the first to the fourth generation of the Shadowcrest family, everyone had now advanced to the Archon Realm.
“Haha, Father, how about we spar?” Max asked excitedly.
Feeling the overflowing power in his body, he thought he could finally defeat his father.
“Sure. The others can join too. Let’s see if your strength is up to par,” Maximus smirked.
Although he hadn’t officially advanced to the Archon Realm, he already possessed the power of one.
In fact, with his strength and arsenal of abilities, no other beings could defeat him in a one-on-one.
—
Soon after leaving the Aeon Plane, they went and fought in the chaotic void, with everyone in the family besieging Maximus with all their might.
However, like professionals fighting a group of amateurs, no matter what they did, they were played like a fiddle.
They had power, but their skill, mastery, and movements were still lacking.
Replenishing his stamina with boundless myriad energy, Maximus pummeled them as easily as an adult would children.
“Haha, you still need a lot of training,” Maximus laughed, regaining his pride as the head of the family.
Although he wasn’t yet an Archon, he could still beat everyone.
“You’re too strong, Father! How are you still an Overlord? You’re already overripe!”
“Father must be cheating! Tell us, did you advance long ago?”
“Sigh, Grandfather is unbeatable as ever. When will we ever defeat him?”
“Dream on! Great-Grandfather is invincible! He wouldn’t lose even against himself!”
Bantering and laughing, they soon returned to the Etherium Realm to rest and recover.
As they celebrated their advancement, Maximus gave them some advice.
“You should focus on training your skills first. Power means nothing if you can’t use it properly.”
After condensing an Archon of Law, they had immediately advanced to the Archon Realm, leaving little time for proper training.
Against ordinary Archons, they might hold their own, perhaps even defeat one or two, but against Overseer-level powerhouses, they stood no chance.
“Don’t worry, we’ll fight on the front lines until we can slay an Origin Dark Beast ourselves!” they answered with conviction.
Killing an Origin Dark Beast single-handedly was proof of a top Archon’s strength.
“Then be careful. Always look out for each other, even if you want to defeat it alone,” Maximus reminded them.
Although they were in the same realm, an Origin Dark Beast was already at the level of a pseudo-Overseer powerhouse.
Among the hundreds of Archons in the Planar Chaos Region, there might not even be thirty who could slay one on their own.
“Don’t worry, Father. There shouldn’t be anyone in the Planar Chaos Region who could easily kill us!”
Although they were still fledglings who hadn’t fully mastered their power, when it came to escaping, even an Overseer would find it hard to stop them.
Furthermore, even if they couldn’t escape, they could last long enough for rescue to arrive.
With their connection to their father, even if the Chaos Destroyer appeared now, he would be able to save them no matter what.
“I know, I know. Just be careful,” Maximus sighed.
Even though he knew they would be safe, who wouldn’t worry about their family?
Soon, after a small celebration, they took a short vacation, exploring the many changes in the Planar Chaos Region.
Taking in everything around them while consolidating their foundations, time quickly flew by.
—
Hundreds of thousands of years later.
After visiting every interesting place to their hearts’ content, they returned to the battlefield to hone their mastery over their own power.
At the same time, they launched an all-out assault against the Black Sigil.
Although the group hadn’t appeared for tens of millions of years, they were still a threat that couldn’t be ignored.
Leading hundreds of Archons, they scoured every corner of the chaotic void that might contain their base,
whether in hidden realms, spatial anomalies, or even in the deepest tides of dark beasts.
Flipping every rock and digging through every trace of soil, they searched fervently for any sign of the Black Sigil.
—
Soon, as thirty million years passed, just when they thought the Black Sigil had already left the Planar Chaos Region, they found the place where they had been hiding.
“I didn’t expect they were hiding in the Absolute Death Zone!” Maximus thought in surprise, reading the news.
The Absolute Death Zone was different from a Dead Zone.
If a Dead Zone was a place where the presence of any energy was absent, the Absolute Death Zone teemed with it.
However, the reason it was called the Absolute Death Zone was due to that very abundance of energy.
Teeming with energy, the chaotic phenomena in the place were too numerous, too disorganized, and too volatile for any being.
Even Dark Beasts skirted around it, much less the beings of the Planar Chaos Region.
Initially, because the place was too volatile, Maximus wasn’t able to place an Omni that could adapt to it.
He hadn’t expected that the Black Sigil would use this fact and hide in the most dangerous place.
“Truly cunning. I wonder how they survive in such a treacherous place.”
“No matter. Since we found them, we’ll kill them!” Luxion muttered, his eyes flashing with killing intent.
He still remembered the harassment and slaughter the Black Sigil had caused.
Like a drowning man who was hoping to receive a hand but got a kick instead, they couldn’t help but feel a blazing hatred in their hearts.
“Hmph! This time we’re the hunters. I just hope they struggle for a while,” Sunkrith said coldly, licking his lips.
“Then gather everyone. I’ll take you straight to the place,” Maximus replied with a smile.
Once this cancer was cleared, they could focus on the actual danger without distraction.
Being harassed by their own kind while fighting to stay alive was truly disgusting.
Clenching his fist, Maximus planned to join the fight himself.
“Hmph! It’s time to end this Black Sigil…”
