Unholy Player - Chapter 519 God Domain

Chapter 519 God Domain
After the events in the genetic mutation laboratory, the researchers gathered every piece of information and data they could. Then they helped Adyr move to a comfortable place so he could rest.
He still looked aged, with faint wrinkles etched into his face. He struggled badly to walk. And since he was still unable to close his wings, they prepared an empty room for him in the research building and moved him there.
Despite its emergency preparation, the room was surprisingly comfortable and well-appointed.
It had a bed large enough to fit his wide wings without forcing them to fold. It had a lighting system designed for rest. And it even had small, home-like touches meant to ease the mind, such as a small rug underfoot, flowers set neatly in a vase, and ordinary but high-quality paintings framed on the walls. “Mr. Adyr, if you need anything, please press the call button, and someone will come to take care of your requests,” the attendant said, politely gesturing to the wireless remote control on the table beside his bed.
“Okay, thank you,” Adyr replied just as politely. His voice was quiet from exhaustion.
Apart from his body in the Beyond, his other body on Earth was in the same condition. It was receiving similar treatment at the Player Headquarters.
With both bodies unable to move, the only thing he could do now was lie down and rest. He could only hope to recover the life force he had lost during Rhys’ awakening process.
I gained a lot from this, but I also paid a heavy price, didn’t I? Adyr thought as he watched the attendant leave the room. The door closed behind her, and the latch clicked softly.
Normally, when Adyr used his bloodline talents, he was only burning stamina. That was something he could quickly restore with a satisfying meal. Alternatively, he could use the nutrient capsules that the researchers had prepared for him.
But this time was different. He had no idea how to restore the life force he had lost. Resting in a sealed room where nothing could disturb him was the only option he had. Even that wasn’t a certainty.
Still, he couldn’t let himself sink into sleep yet. There were things he needed to check first, and he couldn’t bring himself to ignore them.
First of all, he summoned his character panel. The familiar interface hovered in front of him, and he checked the changes there.

There were several major changes on his character panel. The first thing that stood out was the addition of a [Title] section.
He focused on it. He expected a description panel to open and explain what it was or what effects it granted him.
But the system gave no response at all. It was as if that line meant nothing.
“It can’t be just an empty title, can it?” Adyr frowned slightly.
He wasn’t sure, since he had no knowledge of the Gods’ honorific titles. He had never even heard of one before. Still, he expected it to grant at least some
benefits.
But it seemed that wasn’t the case.
Or is it because I’m still considered a mortal, so I can’t receive the benefits? he thought. He didn’t want to believe it was nothing more than an empty
decoration on his status panel.
Since he had no information about it, he skipped it. He moved on to the next change, where his Path-or rather, Paths-were listed.
Interestingly, he hadn’t lost the Primora Path. A new one had simply been added beside it, sitting there as naturally as if it had always belonged.
He focused on them. This time, the system finally gave the response he had
been expecting.
[Primora]
-The One.
-They longed to exist, and I let them be.
[AXION]
-One of the lost Paths, created by the mortal Adyr Hellcraft.
-The first existence to find balance within imbalance, giving rise to the
harmony of Black and White.
-It represents absolute equilibrium.
It seemed that AXION didn’t grant a new stat category. But after seeing Rhys’ status panel, he was also certain this path included all five stats, just like
Primora.
Normally, other Paths only provided a single stat category. So the fact that both Primora and AXION carried all five was strangely thought-provoking. It felt like the system itself was pointing at something he still couldn’t name.
“It represents absolute equilibrium…” Adyr murmured as he reread the description. An idea slowly took shape.
Since the path represented balance, that was probably why it carried every attribute within it. It seemed to distribute them evenly to its followers, shaping them into truly balanced characters.
But then, if AXION had all five stats because it was about balance, what was
Primora’s special distinction that allowed it to have all five as well?
The path still held countless mysteries within it. At least for now.
He pushed that problem aside for later. Then he focused on the next big
changes and gains he had obtained.
His [Sanctuary] had changed. Or rather, it had taken its new form.
The [God Domain].
He let his consciousness slip into his newly upgraded inner space with high
expectations.
His transparent energy body floated high in the sky. As he looked down,
surprise rose in him again.
To start with, his two islands were still surrounded by a sea of transparent
energy, just as before, and their size hadn’t changed at all.
But everything else had.
