Villain: Your Heroines Were Delicious - Chapter 130 - 51

Chapter 130: Chapter 51
Rindou didn’t stop running until she was two hallways away, her heart hammering against her ribs like a trapped bird.
She leaned against a wall, her breath hitching as she glanced back over her shoulder.
Earlier, the air around Retsu-sensei had felt like a vacuum, a cold, hungry pressure that made Rindou’s survival instincts scream.
What was that? she wondered, wiping a bead of cold sweat from her brow. I’ve faced veteran swordsmen during my training with grandfather, but Sensei looked at me like I was a glitch in her reality that she needed to delete.
I thought we have a good relationship!?
Damn it. Note to self: Do not be alone with the school nurse.
Ever.
She shook off the lingering dread, focusing on going back to her task to find the man that filled her mind for an entire month and wouldn’t leave.
After walking for a few minutes, she arrived at the shoe lockers at the entrance, and the closer she got, the more her Ki thrummed in excitement.
It was as if it was telling her; He is here.
She rounded the corner and saw him, the ash-blonde hair, the broad shoulders, and that unmistakable aura that wouldn’t leave her thoughts.
“Seijirou!”
She didn’t care about the “Student Council President” persona or the dozens of students watching with dropped jaws.
Rindou accelerated, her feet barely touching the linoleum, and launched herself through the air.
Seijirou blinked, his eyes slightly widening at her recklessness, but he didn’t flinch.
He planted his feet and caught her mid-flight, his arms wrapping around her waist as the momentum nearly lifted him off the ground.
Then, Rindou didn’t just hug him; she burrowed into him, her face pressed against the crook of his neck, inhaling the scent of the man that she hadn’t seen for a month!
She then pulled back just enough to look up at him, her eyes shining with a fierce, undisguised longing. “Did you miss me? Even a little bit?”
Seijirou chuckled, a deep, resonant sound that Rindou felt in her own chest. “Yeah. A lot more than I thought I would, Rindou.”
The other girls, already gathered around, chuckled at her eagerness that border on childishness.
It was completely different from the gorilla she was known by the delinquents, and the stern and serious president that the students know her by.
“Alright, that settles it!” Suzune clapped her hands together, her eyes sparking with a rare, infectious excitement. “We are celebrating tonight. We finally reunited after a month, so this should be in order..”
Touka nodded shyly, “Y-Yes, the barcade is fully stock. I had the staff prepare the private lounge in case S-Seijirou-kun returns any day, and we have the new rhythm game machines installed. We can have the whole place to ourselves after the final bell.”
“I want the high score on the racing sims!” Emi cheered, already vibrating with energy. “And we need to get the good snacks, the premium ones. The barcade has those right?”
“Absolutely, you can leave those to Touka,” Yukina teased, a soft smile playing on her lips. “I’ll go and contact Shou and the others later. They told me they are going to skip classes today because they are exhausted.”
“I’ll bring the special blend of tea my mother gave me,” Haruka whispered, her gaze never leaving Seijirou. “It helps with recovery after… intense exertion.”
“I need to make sure that little purple shrimp Erina doesn’t find out and ruin everything.” Rei whispered, looking strangely fired up.
Seijirou blinked. Erina? Could it be that Erina?
He didn’t get to ask as the conversation spiraled into a flurry of plans, debating which games to play, what food to order, and who would get to sit next to Seijirou during the party.
For a moment, they weren’t warriors or masterminds; they were just teenagers basking in the return of the person who made their world feel whole.
Seijirou watched them, a sense of profound peace settling over him. Oh well, whether it’s that Erina doesn’t matter, it’s only a minor thing anyway.
Eventually, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone, the screen glowing with the time. “As much as I’d love to plan the menu for the next three hours, the first bell is about to ring. If we’re late on my first day back, the teachers will have a collective heart attack.”
He gently set Rindou back on her feet, though he kept a hand on her shoulder. “Let’s go. We have a school to finish before the party starts.”
The girls groaned in unison but complied, falling into step around him as they marched toward their classrooms—a phalanx of power that made the other students scramble to clear the hallway.

Class 1-A was buzzing with the low hum of morning chatter, a sound Seijirou had actually started to miss while in the absolute silence of the Mirror of the Void.
But as he settled into his chair, the adrenaline of his return finally ebbed away, replaced by a crushing, bone-deep fatigue.
His “Seeker” Origin could map souls and fix trajectories, but it couldn’t magically erase the physical toll of last night.
Retsu and Hiyori had been relentless. It was as if they were trying to weave their very essence into his skin before he left the mountain.
They hadn’t let him up for air until the first rays of dawn hit the tatami mats, and even the double-shot espresso he’d grabbed at the convenience store felt like throwing a cup of water onto a forest fire.
With a heavy yawn that made his jaw ache, Seijirou folded his arms on the desk and buried his face in them.
Within seconds, the sounds of the classroom faded into a rhythmic, dark blur.
Rei watched him from the next row, her brow furrowed in deep concern. She reached out as if to touch his shoulder but hesitated, her hand hovering in mid-air.
Just how brutal was that training? she wondered. He looks like he’s been through a war. To think he pushed himself that hard…he really needs to take care of his body.
Haruka, sensing the shift in his breathing, gave a single, protective nod. He was safe, and is resting. That was all that mattered.
Just then, the door slid open, and Miyamura Hana trudged in.
She looked like the physical embodiment of a Monday morning; her blonde hair was escaping its bun in stray, chaotic wisps, and her eyes were hidden behind glasses that looked too heavy for her tired face.
She began to set her materials down, her movements sluggish, until her gaze reflexively drifted toward the “problem” seat at the back.
Her eyes locked onto the ash-blonde hair of the boy who had been missing for a month.
For a split second, her entire face transformed—her golden eyes sparked with a warmth and relief so intense it was as if she’d just been handed a lifeline in a storm.
She opened her mouth to call his name, but seeing the limp, exhausted way he was draped over the desk, she caught herself.
A soft, knowing smile tugged at her lips.
“Alright, everyone, listen up,” Hana said, her voice dropping to a low, quiet tone to keep the room’s volume down. “We don’t have homeroom today. Everyone needs to head to the gym immediately for a special assembly.”
“An assembly? Sensei, do you have any idea about what it is?” a student groaned.
“Yes,” Hana replied, waving a hand tiredly toward the door. “We have a new Vice Principal to introduce, and the administration has some ’policy updates.’ Just go, they’ll explain everything there. Move quietly.”
“What about Kageyama?” another student whispered, pointing to the sleeping boy. “Should we wake him up?”
Rei stood up, blocking the student’s view of Seijirou with a firm, protective stance. “No. I’ll take notes for him and fill him in later. He needs to rest. Just go.”
Following Rei and Haruka’s lead, the students filed out.
Hana stood by the door, ushering them into the hallway until the room was finally, blissfully silent.
She watched the last student disappear around the corner before closing the door with a soft click.
Hana didn’t head to the gym. Instead, she dragged a chair across the floor, lifting it so it wouldn’t scrape, and sat directly in front of Seijirou’s desk.
She rested her chin in her palms, her elbows propped up on the wood, and just… looked at him.
“You have a lot of friends now, don’t you?” she whispered, her voice barely audible over the distant sound of students in the hallway. “I’m so glad, Seijirou-kun. Finally, people are starting to see the boy I’ve seen all along. The one who hides his kindness under all that jagged armor.”
She watched the steady rise and fall of his shoulders, a sense of peace washing over her that she hadn’t felt the entire month he was gone.
“You were away for a long time, so you probably didn’t notice,” she continued, a playful, tender hum in her voice. “But the atmosphere in this school changed while you were gone. People talk about how you stood up to those delinquents for Rindou-chan. They talk about how you took down the old Vice Principal to protect Rei-chan. You’ve become something of a legend… a ’Shadow King’ who protects his own.”
She reached out, her fingers hovering inches away from his messy hair, before she pulled back with a soft, self-conscious chuckle.
“I’m really happy for you,” she breathed, her golden eyes glowing with a quiet, maternal— and perhaps something more — affection. “Sleep well. I’ll make sure no one bothers you.”
