Villain: Your Heroines Were Delicious - Chapter 135 - 56(End of Volume)

Chapter 135: Chapter 56(End of Volume)
The final bell of the day rang out across Shunji High, a sharp, metallic sound that signaled the beginning of a very long night.
Seijirou was on his feet instantly, his bag slung over his shoulder.
The exhaustion from the morning had mostly faded, replaced by the vitality of his excitement for the party.
“Seijirou-kun, wait up!” Rei called out, frantically stuffing her notebooks into her bag. She zipped it shut with a triumphant grin and hurried to his side. “You aren’t escaping without me. Let’s go there together, okay?”
Seijirou offered a small, knowing smirk and nodded, waiting as she linked her arm with his.
Together, they walked out of the classroom, a sight that surprised their classmates since they never thought the two were this close.
Haruka remained at her desk for several minutes, staring at the empty doorway.
She remembered Seijirou’s specific instruction: in the hallways of Shunji High, they were to be shadows to one another.
Seijirou possessed a dark, streak of playfulness, he relished the drama of being “strangers” in public while sharing a deep, carnal intimacy behind closed doors.
To the school, Haruka was the untouchable ice queen, the “Goddess” whose heart was supposedly sealed.
The fact that she had been “defiled” was a rumor that had already circulated, but the identity of the man remained a mystery that drove the boys of the school into a frenzy of jealousy.
Seijirou enjoyed the theater of it. He liked knowing that while the boys looked at Haruka with worship, she was secretly looking at him with the eyes of a woman who belonged to him body and soul.
The emotional outburst at the lockers earlier had been a rare slip, born from the month of agonizing separation.
But thankfully, no one was there to see it.
’I must be more careful,’ Haruka thought, her face returning to its expressionless mask as she stood up and began to follow at a distance.
In the back corner of the room, Tadano Taro sat with his head down, his knuckles white as he gripped the edges of his desk.
He had witnessed the entire exchange and the sight of Rei clinging to Seijirou like a lifeline was a jagged glass shard in his heart.
“Hah, looks like Tachibana-san finally scraped the parasite off her boot,” a male classmate remarked, loud enough for Taro to hear.
A chorus of snickering followed. “Took her long enough. Say what you want about Kageyama being a psycho, but the guy actually steps up. Unlike some people who think being a ’childhood friend’ is a personality trait.”
The laughter was a dull roar in Taro’s ears.
It was mocking, condescending, and—most painfully—accurate.
He gritted his teeth, grabbed his bag, and practically bolted from the room, his face burning with a mixture of shame and fury.
He stormed through the hallways, his head down, focused only on escaping the suffocating atmosphere of the school.
He rounded a corner near the administrative wing with reckless speed, nearly slamming into a group of people.
Before impact could be made, a massive, wall-like hand slammed into Taro’s chest, shoving him backward.
He lost his balance and sprawled onto the floor with a painful thud.
“Ow…” Taro groaned, rubbing his backside as he looked up.
Standing over him was a mountain of a man—a professional bodyguard in a charcoal suit, his face an unmoving slab of granite.
Behind the guard, Kurosaki Erina emerged, her purple hair swaying slightly as she looked down at him with an expression of mild, elegant distaste.
“My, my, what a clumsy display,” Erina mused, her voice sounding like velvet over gravel. “Tadano Taro-kun. It seems you’ve lost your sense of direction along with your common sense.”
Taro scrambled to his feet, dusting off his pants. “Erina-chan! Sorry, I… I wasn’t looking where I was going. My bad.”
“It’s quite alright,” Erina said, her lips curling into a shallow, practiced smile. “Do try to be more mindful. The floor is for walking, not for lounging. Well then, I have a very important appointment to keep, and my escort is already waiting. I shall see you soon… perhaps.”
“A-Ah, Erina-chan! Wait!” Taro called out as she turned to leave. He was desperate for a win, for a connection to the world he felt slipping away. “I bought that new RPG yesterday! Why don’t we play it this weekend? You have that amazing gaming room at your mansion, right? Let me visit like the old days. It’ll be fun!”
Erina stopped. She turned her head just enough to catch his gaze over her shoulder.
Her purple eyes were cold, devoid of the warmth she had shown Seijirou in the gym.
“…You didn’t mention Rei,” Erina noted, her voice dropping into a chillingly clinical tone. “It seems the bond between the ’childhood sweethearts’ has finally snapped under the weight of your own incompetence.”
She shook her head, a sigh of boredom escaping her. “Don’t bother coming to the Kurosaki estate, Tadano Taro-kun. I have no use for a broken tool. Without Rei as your anchor, you are worth absolutely nothing to me. Your ’friendship’ was merely a bridge to her; now that the bridge is gone, there is only a void.”
She didn’t wait for his reply.
With a flick of her hand, she and her bodyguard continued down the hall, their footsteps echoing with a cold, rhythmic finality.
Taro stood frozen in the middle of the hallway, the silence of the school closing in on him.
He had lost Rei.
He had lost his dignity.
And now, the “friend” he thought he had in the elite world had discarded him like a piece of trash.
As Taro stands alone, he hears a strange “notification” sound from his pocket—not from his phone, but as if it were inside his head.

At this moment, the Kagewara Barcade was glowing.
Compared to a month before, it was now more of a masterpiece of neon-lit decadence, a sanctuary of high-tech entertainment hidden behind a discreet, matte-black facade in the city’s upscale district.
Usually, the venue was a pulsating hub of socialites and gamers, but tonight, the “Closed for Private Event” sign hung prominently on the glass doors.
Inside, the atmosphere was thick with the scent of expensive cologne, the arcade cabinets, and a simmering, palpable tension.
Seijirou sat at the center of a semi-circular plush leather booth in the “VVIP” lounge.
The room was bathed in a deep violet and electric blue glow. On the table before him sat bottles of premium sparkling juice, platters of Wagyu sliders, and arrays of exotic snacks that Touka had meticulously curated.
The dynamic was a chaotic, beautiful masterpiece of devotion.
Yukina and Emi had claimed the territory immediately flanking him.
Yukina was leaning heavily against his left arm, her fingers playing with the hem of his jacket, while Emi sat on his right, her legs crossed and a headset draped around her neck.
“To Seijirou’s return!” Emi shouted, raising a glass of high-end ginger ale. “And to the fact that he looks ten times hotter after being stuck in a mountain!”
“Cheers!” the girls echoed, the sound of clinking glass filling the lounge.
Suzune sat directly opposite him, her legs crossed elegantly. She didn’t mind that Yukina and Emi took his side, in fact, she even likes it.
This feeling where your man is in front of you with two girls who were your friends on both his arms while you sat alone staring at them…it was honestly exhilarating.
She watched Seijirou with a steady, unblinking gaze. “….You haven’t touched your drink, Seiji. Have you been accustomed to mountain life that you find it hard to adjust in the city, or is the company too overwhelming?”
“Heh, nothing like that. I’m just taking it in,” Seijirou replied, his voice a low rumble.
He looked at Rei, who was munching on food and even secretly taking out a tupperware and swiftly and secretly packing up some foods.
She looks so efficient that she probably mastered the art of bringing home food and had reached the nirvana.
To the side, Haruka was staring blankly at a bottle of wines on the wine cabinet.
Perhaps she wanted to try some?
“Ah, this is the life,” Yukina said, her voice soft but carrying the weight of her waterfall training. “I miss the days when we party like this everyday.”
Just then, the door to the private lounge slid open with a hiss.
And much to everyone’s surprised, Erina stepped in, followed by two attendants carrying even more trays of food.
She didn’t look at the other girls; her eyes locked onto Seijirou like a heat-seeking missile.
“I took the liberty of ordering the Diamond-grade sushi platters,” Erina said, walking toward the booth with her cane clicking rhythmically on the floor. “A Kageyama celebration shouldn’t be limited to ’arcade snacks,’ no matter how ’charming’ the commoner choices are.”
She suddenly turned to see Rei and her eyes blinked in shock.
Rei was currently holding on a tupperware with her left hand, and her right hand holding a knife and is halfway through cutting a slice of cake.
Seeing Erina, she froze up instantly. ’Crap! The imp saw me packing up food! Why is this imp here!? Didn’t she say she couldn’t come!?’
“Oh my, how industrious you are~. Packing leftovers like a seasoned housekeeper, hm? Fufufu. I admire the diligence, truly, but do be careful. If you keep this up, people may start mistaking you for someone terribly… responsible.”
She tilts her head, smiling.
“Still, I suppose it is rather clever. Food should never be wasted, after all. Very well, go on, then. Consider it your small victory over extravagance. Just don’t tell anyone I approved of such a commoner’s wisdom, alright?”
Rei felt her forehead vein popped, “YOU IMP!”
Erina ignored her, sliding into a spot near the edge of the booth, her gaze never leaving Seijirou. “Well, Seijirou-sama, would it be alright for me to attend unannounced?”
Seijirou nodded at her, “Yeah, you’re welcome here. But I thought you have a doctor’s appointment?”
“I ’had’, but I never knew that the world’s best doctor is actually working as a nurse in our school. I have her check on my health instead,” she said, before her brows furrowed, “Although, I may not return again. She looks like she wanted to murder me.”
“Oh?” Seijirou blinked. World’s best doctor…that can only be Retsu. She wanted to kill Erina? What for?
“By the way…” Suzune suddenly called out, holding her phone, “Rindou-senpai messaged me and said she couldn’t make it. Apparently, the principal and the vice principal are giving her a lot of work.”
“Aw, that’s a shame.” Yukina pouted.
Erina blinked. She didn’t realize even the Student Council President was part of this circle.
As the night progressed, the “party” began to shift.
The initial excitement of the reunion softened into a deeper, more intimate atmosphere.
Just then, Touka, coming out straight from a kitchen, brought over a tray of sweets, her face flushed from the warmth of the room.
“K-Kageyama-kun… I… I worked on a new recipe while you were gone. Will you try it?” She held out a small, delicately crafted macaron.
Seijirou took her hand, guiding the sweet to his mouth. The look of pure, ecstatic relief on Touka’s action was enough to make the other girls shift closer.
“Delicious…” He praised, his brushing off her bangs to reveal her beautiful face, “…you really did well to manage this place, huh.”
She blushes, lowering her head.
“…what the hell was that!?” Yukina stood up, pointing her hand at Touka’s face, “you look so beautiful, why are you hiding your face?!”
“W-Well…” Touka once again covered her eyes with her bangs, “I-It’s embarrassing.”
“No! No! No! You shouldn’t be embarrassed with that beauty! Seijirou, tell her!”
Seijirou shrugged, “It’s up to her. Although I agree, it’s such a shame for you hide your face.”
Touka stared at him for a few seconds before nodding, “T-Then, t-tomorrow, I will cut it off tomorrow.”
Just then…
Pop!
A loud popping sound echoed, and everyone turned their heads and saw Haruka holding a bottle of wine, uncorked and overflowing, her face and clothes completely soaked.
She stared at Seijirou and the others, still looking emotionless as ever.
Her mouth opened, “Ka…Kampai?”
Everyone erupted into laughter.
They couldn’t believe it, this emotionless girl can actually be this cute!
Seijirou leaned back, smiling.
Yes, this is the life he wanted.
Not a life of pain nor tragedy, but this simple everyday life where everyone can be happy.
He closed his eyes, thinking of the game.
Kageyama Seijirou was a villain, does that also make him one? Maybe. But being a villain doesn’t necessarily means he had to be evil.
In the end, perhaps those people like Tadano Taro would write his name in black ink and curse and hate it.
They would call him a villain because he had ruined their lives, even taking away the people they love.
But there is one truth that most of them cannot accept: that evil is not always born from malice, and villainy is not always the absence of a heart.
Sometimes, a villain is simply a man who loved too narrowly, and loved too deeply, to pretend the world deserved more than the people who gave his life meaning.
