A large building that looked like an inn was built in the centre and several tents were set up around it which must be other travellers also setting up camp here.

My surprise must have shown on my face because Katsuki subtly came over to me and whispered, “Rest stops like these are common throughout the forests, Mistress. They were mostly set up by the Nomads as trading posts and also safe havens as they moved through the forest.”

So it should be more accurate to call these trading posts instead I suppose?

Albert turned to me and stretched out his hand, “It was our great fortune to meet you today, Lady Aster. If you would allow me to, can I treat your party to a meal at the trading post?”

Well, since he’s offering, I wasn’t going to say no. Free food right?

Our group headed towards the building in the centre of the clearing, walking past the various camps that had been set up by the other travellers.

A quick glance around and if the trees around us weren’t enough to clue us in that we were no longer in the Lehcarouc Kingdom, the fact that pretty much everyone here had either cat or dog ears would.

One thing that was kept the same though… Was the fact that sexual activities were still treated casually and in fact, it seemed to be even less restrained here.

There were several couples just openly making love out in the open where everyone could see them. The thing was that they had their own tents that they could be doing it in private but they all chose to do it out in the open instead.
