Chapter 1307: This Feels Personal
Thankfully, I managed to avoid looking like a hypocrite by turning down Tsara’s advances.
But well… With her addition in my party, I guess we now have a third futa.
After another day where I spent giving the rest of the maids my attention which included a threesome session with Mary and Mother at one point and an evening mass orgy where I used my Shadow Guards to basically fuck everyone gathered in the hall at the same time… I was ready to set off again to continue my journey.
This time, instead of using the local Grey Walker guild to transport me over to Emmeflero, we would be enlisting the help of Felicia, our resident Grey Walker maid, instead.
“Young Mistress, are you ready?” The fox girl bowed, her fox tails waving tantalisingly behind her.
The sight of them made me recall how I was fluffing them yesterday while I was slamming my hips against her from behind. She made really cute moans when you fluff her tails while having sex.
Katsuki was still cuter though.
Ahem…
I made sure that all my girls and our two temporary members were prepared before nodding and Felicia.
She directed her attention towards the Waystone and proceeded to open a portal for us to walk through.
Once again, we entered the space where everything looked like a scene that came out from an abstract painting.
There were floating islands and other objects that were just flying through the air, some of them familiar looking while others looked like abominations taken form.
Then I noticed it when I turned around to look behind us.
A giant figure with her arms crossed in front of her to lean on top of a giant floating island while staring down at us lazily with her ultra soft fox tails waving in the air behind her.
Upon noticing that I saw her, Immana’s lips curled up to flash me a smile before waving at me with one of her hands.
“Mistress? Is something wrong?” Felicia asked, turning to look in the direction of where I was looking at.
Wait… Does she not see the giant goddess in the sky right now?
I pointed at the goddess in question, “Umm… Does no one else see Immana in the sky right now? Like… Right there? Staring down at us and waving?”
Everyone turned to look at where I was pointing before turning back to me to shake their heads.
Huh… Maybe I’m hallucinating? I think that might be possible actually… She does look a little translucent so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was just a fragment of my imagination.
“Is Goddess Immana really there, Aster?” Emilia asked.
I nodded, “Umm… Yeah… She’s waving at me now… Now she’s giggling at me.”
Felicia gave me a nervous look, “Does she want something from us, Young Mistress? Did we offend her?”
“Umm… I don’t think so… I think she’s just there to watch over this place and we just so happen to come here.”
Lisa tilted her head, “So… She’s just sitting there waving at us?”
“Ah… Now she’s fluttering her eyelashes at me… And she’s showing off her tails… Umm… I’m not sure what she wants actually… Wait… She’s… Oh… She wants me to brush her tails I think? Yeah… Seems like that’s the case.”
“Should we wait here for you to do that, Mistress?” Katsuki asked.
Immana shook her head at me and waved me off before going back to laying down on the island to give me a lazy smile.
“I think what she means is that she would like me to brush her tails after we return to the city… Since I would most likely have to go find her after we report to Ladia that we had already dealt with the nobles planning to destroy the Tree of Life.”
“Hmm… I understand, Mistress. In that case, I believe we should not be keeping Goddess Immana waiting then.”
I wasn’t sure how to feel about the fact that all of them did not even doubt me for a second even though no one else could see what I was seeing.
If it was anyone else saying that, I might have suggested that they were mistaken or just hallucinating if they told me they were looking at a goddess smiling down at them from the sky while I see nothing there.
Thankfully…
“Are you sure about that, Aster?” Ira asked, the woman squinting her eyes in that direction. “I don’t see anything there.”
Tsara nodded, “Could it be an effect of the In-Between Planes? It is known to make people hallucinate sometimes. Perhaps what you’re seeing is just an illusion.”
Yes, that’s the normal reaction from normal people!
Even though it felt a little sad to hear it, this is definitely the normal reaction! I’m actually glad I got them with me now!
But well…
Minnera turned to narrow her eyes at them, “Are you really doubting Aster? Are you both stupid? Do you remember that she’s the one who has actually met the Goddess in person?”
I thought that they would push back against that argument and I was not disappointed.
Ira narrowed her eyes at them, “I’m pretty sure if most of the people are not seeing something and only one person is able to see that… It would be more logical to think that the one person is hallucinating, right?”
Yes! That’s what I’m thinking! Stop affirming me, girls! That Immana in the sky could just be an illusion! At least question me a little!
The image of Immana pouted and her figure seemed to solidify a little.
“At least have a little bit more confidence in yourself, my cute little sister~” Immana’s voice boomed around the place.
Everyone turned to gape at the figure of Immana pouting at me, her cheeks inflated cutely.
Ok, by the looks on their faces, I can tell that I was definitely not mistaken here.
And as if triggered by something, Ira immediately leapt into the air and the red orbs appeared around her before it shot towards the goddess in the shape of spikes.
Ehhhh?!! Ira?!! What are you doing?!!
Immana smiled at the sudden attack that sped towards her, showing no signs of concern at it.
The reason for it became clear when the red spikes struck what appeared to be an invisible wall and disappeared completely like it sunk into some kind of invisible liquid.
Ira did not give up and merely conjured an even bigger ball to toss at the goddess, the spike at least the size of a building.
But despite that, the result was the same as it disappeared into the invisible wall without leaving a mark.
Immana giggled, “Ufufufu~ How cute, little sister~ Is this a new lover you picked up? She really is cute~ Mmm… Sorry little one~ I may look like I’m here but I’m actually in another Plane right now~ There’s a reason why it’s called the In-Between Planes~ You’re currently in a completely different space~”
Ira glared at the goddess and ignored her words to stretch out her hand, summoning some kind of red lightning in front of her.
Wait… Is that… Infernal magic?! The same type of magic that demons use?!
For me, I need to make use of the mana in the demonic cores I have stored in my Bangle of Holding to materialise their magic and I definitely do not see Ira holding one! How is she able to cast that type of magic by herself?!
The red lightning shot out from her palm and sped towards the goddess.
But once again, the invisible wall completely negated her attack and Immana looked completely nonplussed at her attempt.
Ira scowled even harder at the goddess and I figured I should step in now.
“Ira! No! Bad! Come down here!!” I shouted.
Surprisingly, she actually listened and flew back down to my side though she still continued to glare at the goddess’s direction.
Geez… I knew she didn’t like the gods but the way she was acting make it look like they killed her entire family or something…
Now I have a feeling that she’s not really just angry at them because of the reasons she stated but there might even be a more personal reason that she is hiding to motivate her into overthrowing them…
Immana giggled again and turned her attention back to me, “Come find me when you are ready, little sister~ I still remember that I promised you a reward for dealing with this~ Oh, here’s the portal for being so cute~”
She flicked her hand in our direction and a portal appeared directly in front of us.
I didn’t need to ask her to know that this portal should lead me to the capital of the Trasifs and before I could thank her, her tails wrapped around her like a cocoon before she disappeared from our sight.
Ok… That was certainly an odd interaction…
I guess I should stop doubting myself when it comes to seeing the gods now…
