Will of chaos - Chapter 1939: Cap 1935: It started off bad...

Chapter 1939: Cap 1935: It started off bad…
Leaving Urd’s portal, I found myself alone with Lolth, Urd herself, Sarazar, and Ronan, as well as hundreds of Ascended, Anomalous Dragons, and a single Universal Golem modified into the form of a Dragon, which is where we all are.
For some reason, Igor and Davoth are nowhere to be found, and I also couldn’t find Niryna, who seemed to keep her distance from me the entire time.
“What is this…?” (me)
When we emerged from the portal, we found ourselves in a large galaxy filled with a horrifying energy. All the stars in the surrounding area were blue or purple, bathing the place in a macabre atmosphere.
The surrounding planets were strange; their rivers were all red, the land black, the clouds on the planets dark gray. They all also seemed to be part of a very obvious energy flow, their power being sucked and carried to the same place.
It wasn’t like any natural flow I’d ever seen, nor did it follow the guidelines of the Flow of the Laws of the Ascendants. It was something different, and I soon realized they were like rivers carrying their water to the ocean, a one-way path that wasn’t nourishing these planets, it was just sucking their power away.
I tried to look toward the center of the Galaxy where these flows of raw power were heading, but I couldn’t see anything there, and even the strange energy flow itself simply disappeared upon reaching a certain point.
“How horrible, all the Laws have been corroded… they’re in pieces…” (Urd)
“Not only that, look at these planets; they’ve been desecrated by your twisted purposes!” (Lolth)
“These oceans are blood. I can feel the vitality of trillions of lives on each of these planets, flowing from these oceans!” (Lolth)
“I also sense something on the planets themselves: death, a great deal of death.” (Sarazar)
Everyone here is sensitive to different things. Lolth, as Lena’s Avatar, is very sensitive to life energy. Sarazar, as Cortana’s Avatar, is very sensitive to the energy of death. Urd was born from the Ascendant Laws themselves and has a unique perception of these Laws. I, on the other hand, am more connected to nature and therefore better understand the flow of energy.
“Be careful, we’re surrounded!” (Ronan)
“I noticed.” (Me)
“Sarazar, can you and your brothers take care of them?” (Lolth)
“It would be my pleasure.” (Sarazar)
“Wait!” (Ronan)
Suddenly, Ronan interrupts everyone. A strong energy fluctuation appears, and several bubbles of reality energy become visible, just as a strange glow appears in the center of the Galaxy, carrying the power of the Concept of Hatred.
No words were needed for everyone to understand the situation. The enemies we couldn’t see were hidden in these bubbles of reality, while that strange glow from before was our target, behind a large barrier of reality.
There was nothing more to worry about; it was time to put everyone into action. So my body begins to transform into a Dragon, with my Familiars following behind me as I give the command.
“We’re in the right place, you can do whatever you want!” (me)
With that, I’m the first to step forward. As I said before, I have no plan, I only have one target: the universal core. I can bet that this strange light from before, as well as the endpoint of these raw energy flows, will be my Target.
Without waiting for any response, I advance, flapping my wings forward, my Familiars following behind me.
“< Law of Eclipse: Spatial Distortion >” (me)
Pointing my hands forward, I create a Law Rune that advances in front of me, distorting space into countless folds, forming a shorter path to my target. That’s when two creatures that resembled Goblins in the Hulk’s body appeared.
“< Sword of the Final Apocalypse >” (Ragnar)
“< Breath of the Blood of Myriad Bloodlines >” (Orion)
Orion steps in front of me, launching a Breath attack using the multiple Bloodlines he controls.
Ragnar, in his centaur form wearing full armor, slashes downward with his heavy sword, launching an attack that shatters space.
The enemies didn’t die from these attacks, but were pushed back as their appearances changed. It was as if their bodies were hidden by a cloak of illusion that shattered under the attacks of my Familiars.
What appeared behind them were two giant, humanoid creatures wearing armor. They were bathed in strange energy and emanated a strong power of Hatred.
“Layla!” (Me)
“I know, idiot master!!” (Layla)
“< Divine Penumbra Magic: Path of the Void >” (Layla)
Space opens as the power of Reality merges with the path, creating a world of its own, temporarily separated from the rest of this universe. This prevents the attacks of the Anomalous Creatures emerging from the reality bubbles from reaching me.
I advance with my Divine Beasts until I reach the barrier, but before I can touch it, I feel a powerful wave of energy coming from within.
The barrier in front of us shatters as an energy creature bound by energy chains escapes, destroying the barrier. It seemed to be made of pure Anomalous power of destruction.
I was the one at the front of the group and was knocked back like a fly by that thing larger than entire planets, thrown backward and crashing into Sakura, who was right behind me.
The creature didn’t even look at me and just continued flying at full speed as if trying to escape something as quickly as possible. It ignored everything as it collided with all the Anomalous Creatures in its path, as well as several reality bubbles that burst, revealing hundreds of humanoid creatures possessing the power of Hatred emanating from their bodies. Even the Anomalous Creatures along the way had their appearances change, revealing that they were disguised; they were all the same type of creature possessing the power of Hatred.
No matter what the thing was trying to do to escape, the chains that bound it began to be pulled again while space seemed to reject its existence as it was violently pulled back, passing close to us once more before returning all the way back.
The creature couldn’t do anything, and as it returned, it revealed a wooden ship that distorted space around it, as if sailing on a lake. Above the ship was a large mirror from which the chains extended. All I saw was the head and one of the arms of the creature, sinking into the mirror before shrinking back into the hands of someone at the bow of the ship. It was Igor.
Behind him, many of his men lay unconscious on the ground, panting. He himself seemed to be trembling as he put away the mirror and passed, looking at me in surprise before waving goodbye.
Before I could do anything, dozens of these creatures of Hatred tried to attack the wooden ship, but before they had the chance, the ship seemed to sail into space, disappearing from everyone’s view.
I didn’t understand what was happening, but I smiled, seeing an opportunity, an opportunity that was snatched from me when the Ascended advanced like berserkers, with no regard for their own safety.
They seemed to have seized the opportunity of this disaster to appear. They were led by Davoth, and looking back, I saw the Anomalous Dragons, as well as the other Ascendants of Urd, fighting the creatures of Hatred that had remained behind. We now outnumbered them, and the battle that had just begun was already in our favor.
Everything was happening too quickly, but I only grew more excited as I also advanced, but not to attack. I skirted the battle of Davoth’s Ascendants against those belts to continue advancing beyond the now-destroyed barrier.
It wasn’t fighting or eliminating enemies that I sought; this wasn’t a war against armies; it was an old-fashioned battle of objective destruction or explosive planting, like in the multiplayer shooters I played in my past life, like CS.
The goal isn’t to kill the enemy, but to accomplish a specific objective. Fighting the enemy is merely a facilitator to accomplish that objective.
I skirted the battle with my Familiars, and that’s when I finally saw what was hidden behind that massive barrier. It was an entire star system at the center of this Galaxy.
The entire star system emanated a horrifying dark aura, and within it was a large Black Sun emanating purple light. Inside it appeared to be some kind of egg of purple light. There were two columns of energy above and below that sun, white and black.
I could only see for a moment before I noticed a shadowy figure coming toward us. This creature threw something at us, and a burst of black light erupted as space completely distorted.
The next thing I saw were hundreds of dark creatures emanating the power of Hatred. The vast majority wore black armor, while some wore black cloaks. They all possessed great power.
It didn’t seem like I would be able to get past them so easily, but before I could do anything or even prepare to attack, Urd appeared beside Lolth.
As if waiting for their arrival, or perhaps responding to their presence here, two creatures appeared. Their bodies were smaller but surrounded by a thick miasma, emanating a much more intense power of the Concept of Hatred.
“It started off bad…” (me)
