Will of chaos - Chapter 1941: Cap 1937: I’m in my element!

Chapter 1941: Cap 1937: I’m in my element!
Author’s Note: I’ve been sick for the past few days and am still recovering, so there were a few days when I couldn’t post a new Chapter. Since I’m recovering well, I don’t plan on skipping any more Chapters from now on. If everything goes as I hope, at least…
****************
After that dark creature disappeared, I didn’t waste any more time. I never wanted to fight, and my only target was the Universal Core.
With all this resolved, I took advantage of the fact that the thing had escaped to get closer to that damned thing at the center of the universe, which looks less and less like the Universal Core I was told about.
I could also feel a change in the environment, a greater concentration of the Concept of Hatred forming miasma. Just as I was feeling this, people were already following behind me and my Familiars. These were Davoth, followed by two Ascendants: Urd, Lolth, and Sarazar.
We moved forward until I could finally see what that thing in the center was clearly. It wasn’t the universal core I’d heard about anymore. Even from a distance, I could see a black sun emanating purple light. I could see an egg of light glowing in its center. I could see a crystal ring spinning around it while currents extended toward that egg of light. I could see two columns of light, one white and the other black.
Something was clearly wrong. This wasn’t just him taking possession of the Universal Core; it looked more like the Universal Core was being used as an incubator for something else.
I didn’t know what was happening, and I honestly didn’t care. Clearly, the Universal Core was still fulfilling its function, or this universe would already be beginning to collapse, having almost become an artificial universe.
As long as the universal core can maintain its functions, everything will be fine. But before I can reach the star system at the center of the Galaxy, a blast of dark energy appears, followed by two swords that are coming too fast for me to completely dodge, so I use my connection with my Familiars, focusing their power through me.
“< Magic of the 7 Eclipse Stars: Void Slash >” (me)
Using my hand, encased in Aura in the form of a blade, I slash forward as the Stellar Flames distort space and the power of reality to open a Rift in front of me, where I cut.
The blast of energy, as well as the two swords, sink into the rift as I struggle to keep it open under the pressure of the power of the Concept of Hatred.
As soon as that attack is dodged, I stop holding the rift, which closes violently as if crushed by the power of the surrounding reality.
Looking ahead, the previous attackers appeared, along with a tsunami of miasma capable of sweeping away entire planets, blocking my view of the universal core.
There were four enemies. The shadowy creature stood there servilely behind someone. There were also two humanoid creatures with armor similar to the ones pretending to be Anomalous Creatures, but these two were different.
They were a man and a woman, their armor intricately etched onto their bodies as if glued to their bodies. Even their faces seemed to be drawn on masks on their helmets. Their eyes were black flames. The woman held a second sword in her hand, while the man held a large shield in his other hand.
They were both large, almost as tall as me, and their bodies emanated a dense energy of the Concept of Hatred. Yet, they seemed devoid of life or any emotion other than Hatred. They were both standing on either side of the same figure, which the shadowy creature seemed to be servile toward.
The one in the middle of them all was smaller, he was the height of a person a little less than meters, on his back were 5 pairs of wings made of black energy, his skin was bright red and patterns of black lines drawn across his arms, neck and face.
He had black hair, two pairs of energy horns floating above his head, his eyes were black with purple pupils, and he was so handsome he hardly seemed human.
His presence was composed entirely of Hatred, as if this distorted emotion were the pillar of his existence. Yet his demeanor seemed calm as his eyes quickly roamed the surroundings as if studying the situation before settling on me, the closest to him.
He appeared to be the Avatar of Hatred, but his description doesn’t match what Ronan showed us. So this must be a second Avatar of Hatred; there must be another hidden somewhere that we should be wary of.
It took mere seconds for me to analyze the four leading that tsunami of galactic-scale miasma toward us, but that moment of peace was shattered as space shattered and two swords slashed through the void, returning to the hands of those two armored beings.
The woman had two thin, brown-colored swords with serrated blades, while the man had a very large sword along with his shield.
This time I was unsure of how to advance. I didn’t want to fight. I hadn’t come here for a fight. I wanted to avoid fighting as much as possible, but I see no way to get through this miasma. This isn’t normal miasma; it’s just a type of malicious energy, the concentrated power of Hatred.
Entering this miasma, like black storm clouds, would be like entering an inescapable territory, an enemy territory where I’d be attacked from all sides without being able to do anything to avoid it.
It seemed like I wouldn’t be able to avoid the fight this time, but before I could do anything, Lolth lunged forward, attacking the Avatar of Hatred. Sarazar did something different. His wings spread much faster than Lolth’s, and he charged into the miasma mist, disappearing within.
Lolth seemed surprised after her lecture before reaching the Avatar of Hatred, but that didn’t mean they would stand idly by. The Dark Creature advanced on Lolth in her moment of distraction, intending to kill her, but was stopped by Hinata, who appeared in her path.
That wasn’t all, Davoth and Valius appeared in front of me when Valius reached into his chest and pulled out a white wooden statue, stained with his blood. As soon as this small statue appeared, Valius’s Aura went berserk and amplified more than tenfold.
The small statue, as soon as it appeared, emitted an Aura of Hatred that not only caught my eye but also made the Avatar of Hatred turn his head in surprise. Valius then threw the small statue to Davoth.
“< Demonic Anomalous Magic: Divine Release >” (Davoth)
The statuette appeared to be shaped like a beautiful woman. This woman was screaming with a mouth full of sharp teeth, her body held by dozens of arms.
As soon as the small statue fell into Davoth’s hands, he directed two magic circles, each containing the opposite Anomalous power. Thousands of runes began to emerge and detach from the statue, while the hands holding the woman cracked.
The statue’s aura began to emanate increasingly stronger. The statue became more lifelike, and its wooden appearance began to change to something similar to crystal. The aura then locked onto the Avatar of Hatred, who pointed in its direction before shouting.
“Destroy that statue!” (Avatar of Hatred)
“Too late!” (Davoth)
Davoth threw the statue away from him, pulling the pale Valius away.
The statue began to grow as the hands holding the woman broke. The woman now seemed to begin to move, shattering the remistal and revealing what appeared to be a gray-skinned woman with white hair, eyes filled with black flames of Hatred, and a dress that seemed to be made of black liquid.
The woman’s presence was as large as the Avatar’s, perhaps even slightly larger, and her angry face glared at him as if it wanted to tear him apart.
Before the woman could completely free herself, an absurd Aura emerged from the miasma mist, an Aura that didn’t belong to the living, a ghostly Aura that belonged to Ghosts and Specters.
As soon as this Ghostly Aura emerged, the miasma gathered as if sucked into a whirlpool that formed, while much of it disappeared into the center, from which Sarazar emerged covered in wounds.
As all this happened simultaneously, I couldn’t help but smile; the Avatar of Hatred’s expression was hilarious to me.
Everyone’s plans were unfolding simultaneously, but it seemed not all of them went as expected. Davoth looked horrified as he stared at the whirlpool that formed in the miasma, and Lolth seemed confused about what to do.
I don’t know what the fallen statue was, and I know even less what that thing inside the miasma was, but I didn’t care.
I was happy, all of this happening at once, all this confusion, all this Chaos, it was so familiar, it was all so comfortable, I was at ease in this confusion, I’ve always been in chaotic and confusing situations since my rebirth, I don’t need to understand what’s happening, I don’t need to fear every little thing, I just need to focus on what I can do and move forward, adapting to each step.
“Now, I’m in my element…” (me)
