Will of chaos - Chapter 2033 2033: Cap 2023 (Rewritten): Dream Avatars...

The second door, which looked more like a refrigerator door with that childish drawing hanging on it, led to a house, or perhaps an apartment. We literally emerged from a refrigerator falling to the floor of a simple kitchen.
The house was beautiful in its simplicity, cozy as a real home should be. In the kitchen, pots of different sizes and colors sat on what appeared to be a stove. The refrigerator didn’t match the cabinets, which didn’t match the kitchen paint; clearly nothing was planned, but rather added over time.
On the table were cutlery from different sets, different glasses. The kitchen was a different color from the hallway when we left, and on the walls were photos of different families.
My eyes scanned the walls and doors, finding handprints near the light switch, a broken corner of the wall near the floor, and even a photo with a cracked frame.
The house wasn’t old, nor was it poorly maintained; quite the opposite, the house was clean and tidy. Even so, it was undeniable that every object and mark in this house carried a story, from a photo falling to the floor after slipping from someone’s hand to a corner of the wall where someone stubs their toe every day.
This was a normal family home; you could tell. You could feel the warmth of a family in every corner, and we all walked around looking for something strange, something wrong here.
The house seemed empty, and silence prevailed. Everyone maintained this silence, moving quietly. We passed through an empty room and came upon a staircase leading to a second floor, which we decided to follow.
On the second floor, we saw everything turned upside down: bloodstains on the floor and four broken doors from which masked people emerged wielding weapons.
Lena took a step forward this time, but she didn’t use any powers; she simply stood still in front of the enemies who advanced at a truly terrifying speed.
“Come on, children…” (me)
When Lena opened her arms, it was as if her Concept exploded, creating a suction field around her in a limited area. All the enemies already within that area couldn’t escape; each one was sucked towards her, becoming particles of light that invaded her stomach, which grew larger and larger.
Soon, none of the enemies remained, and Lena’s stomach was as large as a pregnant woman’s. She smiled, looking at her belly before sticking her hand inside, but it didn’t tear her body; her hand simply passed through without causing damage. When she withdrew her hand, she was holding one of those crystals. She throws it to us while repeatedly placing and removing her hand from her stomach, always pulling out a new crystal until the count matches the number of defeated enemies.
“We can move on.” (Lena)
As if nothing had happened, she set to work leading the way. We looked through each of the doors; the sight was horrific: two adults and three children left unrecognizable, arms and legs torn off, faces disfigured—all dead.
As always, we only found him at the final door. He was bound by blood-stained chains, bruises all over his face and body. He looked like just a normal human teenager, nothing special.
Unlike the doll from before, he wasn’t awake; in fact, he was extremely weak. I wanted to go to him, but I was stopped. His body floated behind Ohara as we closed the nearest door.
“I hope this leads us to the next ones… that’s three nightmares now.” (Me)
I put the key in the lock and turned it. The door seemed to flicker a few times as if it were going to disappear and then returned to normal, completely different. This time it was a door with religious symbols.
I nodded to everyone and we went inside, knowing it would be dangerous; we also needed to increase our speed.
——————-
As soon as we passed through the door, we were on the second floor of somewhere. We took a few more steps forward and noticed a balcony where we saw a hall I called a hall with long benches lined up three times side by side. They were all full of people, possibly hundreds of them, with the appearances of children, men, women, the elderly, and young people.
In front of everything was a large stage with large religious symbols that I didn’t recognize, a table with a large book, and a middle-aged man who seemed to be a priest.
Everything looked like a church during a normal ceremony, if it weren’t for the marvelous woman dressed in a robe with a veil covering her face who stood before the priest. She was very beautiful, with a delicate demeanor, and there was a man beside her. Everything made it seem like an engagement or wedding ceremony.
The only strange thing about all this was the groom himself; his wrists and ankles were chained, his clothes were tattered, and he was chained to the floor, pulling as if he were desperately trying to run. He must be one of those nightmares.
“This is so ridiculous I don’t know what to do…” (me)
“Can I…?” (Hinata)
“No!!!” (everyone)
Hinata looked at everything as if it were some kind of tray of sweets, and I have a feeling that if it were possible, she would try to eat this whole place with everyone inside.
“Let me deal with this, it reminds me of my 34th wedding, I also had to restrain my husband, he was so shy when he was alive… hahahahahahaha!!!” (Ohara)
“…” (me)
Before I could make a comment that would possibly reward me with a punch, Ohara jumped from the second floor, a large golden glaive covered in bloodstains materializing on her back.
She was smiling as she brandished that massive thing as if it were a light tree branch, each movement of her weapon creating a wave of blood and shattered bodies of everyone in the pews.
It was only a blink of an eye before she reached the altar where she was attacked by the priest whose entire body deformed into a grotesque hand that tried to grab her as the bride lifted her veil, revealing an endless void from which a beam of energy shot towards her.
Her smile was bizarre as she dodged the energy beam, approaching the bride before grabbing her by the neck and using it as a weapon to repeatedly strike that large, grotesque hand.
Everything happened so fast and so brutally that I don’t even know what to say; I even felt a sense of relief for not having made any jokes about what she said about her own wedding.
“There were many this time, and two were really strong.” (Lena)
“Do you think they noticed?” (Cortana)
“I don’t know…” (Lena)
While Lena and Cortana spoke, Ohara destroyed the chains binding the man and held him like a sack of potatoes, bringing him back, her Aura spreading throughout the room with surgical precision, collecting hundreds of the same type of crystal we’ve seen before and 2 new crystals that look like a heart pulsating with pure energy.
“There are still two left, let’s go.” (me)
“They must already be suspecting something, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they reinforce security with the next Avatar.” (Xerxes)
I reach the door we entered through and close it before using the key again. Then, blood seems to drip from the door until it reaches the floor. When the blood disappears, it leaves only the tattered red curtain where everyone passed.
————————-
This time we were exiting through a window, looking down. It was a planet, a planet covered by a colossal barrier that completely envelops it. Four beams of light seem to maintain that barrier, each coming from a spaceship of ridiculous proportions that could have come from a Star Wars movie.
The window we exited was from one of those ships, and on the observation balcony where we arrived, there was a battle, with weapons pointed in our direction. I almost acted on reflex if it weren’t for Ohara being faster, shattering them all with a sweep of her glaive.
Looking more closely at the trapped planet below, there seemed to be many storm clouds, and an area seemed to be glowing red like fire.
“Hinata’s turn…!” (Hinata)
Before anyone could say anything, Hinata became a beam of shadows that appeared above the planet, but what happened next was absurd even to her.
Her arms and legs each went to one of the ships while deforming into grotesque heads opening horrible jaws that simply bit the ships, devouring them all with 3 bites in seconds.
The problem was that we were on one of the ships, but as soon as we were swallowed, a large hand pulled us out and we emerged above the planet as the interplanetary shield disappeared; there were no more traces of those ships.
“Hinata, return the crystals, all of them.” (me)
“…” (Hinata)
She extended a hand that opened like a flower from which thousands of crystals emerged, including 30 that had formed into hearts, still pulsating.
“Let’s take this…” (Xerxes)
Xerxes extends his hand towards the planet below us and something seems to be sucked in: streams of electrical storms, water, tornadoes, fragments of rocks, sand, and magma.
All these elements were removed from the planet, which was beautiful without them, so these various elements were squeezed together into a humanoid form.
“Only one left…” (me)
