A bitter smile was on Lin Fan’s face when he heard this as he could imagine the reason why the owner of this voice said this.

After all, it finally realized that he wasn’t actually the one that had passed the trials.

It was quite obvious and would have been easy to find out if he talked more, but Lin Fan remained silent during most of this that he didn’t notice anything.

By the time that he discovered it, it was already too late.

“It’s an honour for him to give it to the host since the host has this system.”

A strange comment came from the system before Lin Fan could even say anything.

He couldn’t help feeling that there really was something off about the system.

After all, it wouldn’t have given a comment that was filled with pride like this previously. It was only now that the system seemed to be acting differently compared to before.

When he heard the system acting like this, Lin Fan really couldn’t help feeling that it was strange.

But right now, it wasn’t the time to think about that.

It wasn’t as if the system was planning on doing anything to him, it was just that the system was showing off a bit.

“The system is not showing off, the system is stating a fact. Not to mention that the host shouldn’t doubt the system’s sincerity. The system was created on the host’s behalf to help him in this new world.”

Lin Fan didn’t think anything in response since he knew that the system would just read his mind.

Instead, he turned his attention to the two crystals that were here.

The first one that he looked at was the one that had been used by the owner of these ruins to hold his soul.

When he looked at it with his Appraisal Eyes, he was able to see exactly what this thing was.

After all, the crystal itself wasn’t that special and now that the soul that had been inside of the crystal was gone, there wasn’t anything that was resisting the power of his Appraisal Eyes.

The thing was that there wasn’t anything special about this crystal in the first place.

This crystal was nothing more than a crystal that had the ability to contain souls.

Though thinking about it, a crystal that could do something like that should be considered special in the first place.

But right now, there wasn’t anything that he could do with this crystal.

As for the larger crystal, that thing was much more important.

Lin Fan had already made a connection with that crystal, so he was able to easily connect his spiritual sense with that larger crystal. When he did, he could tell that there was something about his senses.

It was that they had been expanded by the crystal.

It seemed like the crystal was some kind of conduit that allowed him to access different parts of the world. But Lin Fan also felt that this sensation was a bit familiar to something that he had felt before.

It was just like when he managed his Minor World.

Based on that, he could tell that this place was a Minor World as well.

The only difference between this Minor World and the one that had controlled was the amount of control he had over this place.

When the previous owner handed the Minor World over to him, he only gave Lin Fan control over this crystal.

This crystal seemed to be the real owner of this Minor World and could access the Minor World like an owner could.

That meant that when it came to managing the Minor World, it could be said that Lin Fan was an admin rather than the owner. He was someone that had been granted access to management of this Minor World without actually giving him ownership.

As for why this happened…

“So the person in the crystal must have other plans or else he wouldn’t have given up control of this Minor World that easily. It seems that this place really isn’t as simple as it seems.”

The thing that Lin Fan was the most suspicious of was the crystal itself.

After all, it was this thing that was giving him control of the Minor World, so there was no doubt that this wasn’t a special thing. However, when he tried to find out what this thing was, this crystal gave him the same question marks that the other crystal gave him when he used his Appraisal Eyes on it.

As such, Lin Fan knew that there had to be something that was blocking him.

As such, Lin Fan could guess that the owner of these ruins was most likely still alive.

If he didn’t have a Minor World, Lin Fan might be tempted to keep trying to find a way to take this Minor World for himself. But since he already had a Minor World and one that was better than this one, he didn’t really care that much about this place.

It would be nice to have another one, but it wasn’t something that was necessary.

Once he finished learning how to use the crystal, Lin Fan shrank the crystal and took it away with him.

This was one of the functions of the crystal, it could be taken away from this place to make it easier for him to control this Minor World with it.

After coming out of the cave with the crystal, he was immediately surrounded by Ye Qing Huan and Mu Bao Bao. Just from the way that they looked at him, he could already tell what they wanted to ask him.

So he raised the crystal to show them before saying, “I did it.”

Ye Qing Huan’s eyes immediately lit up and she started looking at the crystal, but she quickly got bored with it when she found that it didn’t do anything.

Lin Fan hadn’t stopped her since he wanted to see what reaction it would have to her, but it seemed that it was nothing more than a normal crystal when one didn’t have a bond to it.

Only those that had a bond to it would be able to use the powers that this crystal possessed.

So Lin Fan explained what happened inside of the cave, though he did leave certain details out. These were details that involved the system that he didn’t want to share with them.

In the end, they weren’t that interested in the trials themselves, but rather they wanted to see what the crystal could do.

So with the crystal in hand, Lin Fan showed them.

In an instant, the cave that had been there disappeared without a trace.

At the same time, all of the treasures that had been hiding inside of the cave were brought out by him and placed in front of them.

Ye Qing Huan wasn’t that interested in the treasures since she had seen things that were better than these. But that didn’t mean that Mu Bao Bao wasn’t interested since she wanted to take these treasures back.

Each of these things were special and could be used by the Love Sect.

As for the Mu Empire’s government, she didn’t think about them at all.

In the end, the thing that mattered the most to Mu Bao Bao was still the Love Sect.

Instead of looking at the treasures with Mu Bao Bao, Ye Qing Huan asked, “What else can you do with this thing? Can you control the spirit beasts of this place?”

Lin Fan nodded before bringing the crystal up.

After the crystal glowed a bit, there were sounds that came from the distance.

It didn’t take long for a group of spirit beasts to appear, but their appearance made Mu Bao Bao cautious.

It wasn’t the same for Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan since they had already expected the appearance of these spirit beasts.

Though in the end, Ye Qing Huan was a bit surprised by the spirit beasts.

That was because she could tell from the aura that came from them just what level they were at.

It was a bunch of Soul Building Realm Spirit Beasts and there was even a Nascent Soul Realm Spirit Beast.

The spirit beasts that were down here were on a completely different level compared to the spirit beasts above.

At the same time, as long as they had these spirit beasts then it would be impossible for anything to happen to them while they were in these ruins.

Ye Qing Huan looked at them for a bit before saying, “What do you think about causing a bit of trouble for those people?”

Now that there was a better toy to play with, it was only natural that Ye Qing Huan wanted to mess with those from the righteous sects even more. They were from the righteous sects and she was from a demonic sect, so it only seemed right that she did this.

“Alright.” Lin Fan didn’t mind since he was part of the Heavenly Demon Sect as well, so it wasn’t as if he shouldn’t do his part.

Once Lin Fan agreed, Ye Qing Huan just gave a simple nod in response before turning to look at the Nascent Soul Realm Spirit Beast.

Lin Fan couldn’t help feeling that there was something strange about the way that she was looking at it.

In the end, Ye Qing Huan suddenly turned around and asked, “Can I spar with this one?”

Lin Fan was surprised, but he gave the order to the Nascent Soul Realm Spirit Beast in the end.
