The moment that she said this, Lin Fan didn’t even have the time to say anything as Rokuko suddenly stepped forward. She came to stand in between Lin Fan and Haku with her hands raised as if she was going to protect him from Haku.
The smile on Haku’s face quickly disappeared when she saw the way that Rokuko looked at her.
After all, it hurt her to see her looking at her with these narrowed eyes that seemed to be filled with doubt and questioning.
With a cough, Haku quickly corrected herself, “I mean that I need him to act as bait. I won’t do anything to harm him, I just want him to bait the six factions in so they’ll start fighting.”
Rokuko still had her arms up and still glared at Haku, but it seemed like her expression relaxed a bit as she waited for Haku to explain.
An even more awkward look appeared on Haku’s face when she saw this, but she still explained what she meant.

Haku just had the same awkward look on her face when she heard this.
But in the end, it was Lin Fan who gave an explanation.

Rokuko was surprised to hear Lin Fan say this before she revealed the same worried look as before.

The two of them revealed a serious look when they heard this, but eventually Haku said with a sigh, “It seems like you know far more than I gave you credit for.”

Haku gave a slow nod to show that she understood, but she didn’t say anything else after she did this. Instead, she just looked at Lin Fan as if she was seriously looking him over for the first time.

“Since you know all of this, tell me what you want.” Haku suddenly said with a sigh.
Lin Fan gave a nod of acknowledgement before saying, “It’s very simple. Since you want to use me, then it would only be fair if I were to use you.”
Haku raised one brow before asking, “How?”

Instead he just simply said, “Tell me what you need for this bait plan and I’ll see if I can prepare it.”
Haku didn’t say anything in the end as she just waved her hand at Agnus.
Seeing this, Agnus came forward with a list that she handed to Lin Fan.
Lin Fan took it and there was a bitter smile that appeared on his face when he saw this list.
That was because this was not the kind of list that could be created on short notice.
This was a list that had clearly been prepared ahead of time and had been carefully thought out. This was the kind of list that would only be prepared if they were certain that he would have accepted their request.

Agnus was the one that followed up by saying, “Just get everything on that list in a week and prepare it in your dungeon. We’ll have someone collect it and bring it to the place where the bait will be laid.”
