“Are you sure that it was in this place?”

“Yes, my lord. All of the reports say that the mana fluctuations came from this place.”

“Then where is it?”

Looking at the empty land in front of them, the one that was the subordinate had an awkward look on his face.

After all, even if he asked him this question, it wasn’t as if he had anyone to ask for the answer.

So in the end, all he could do was try to find the place that the reports were on.

Everyone had been thinking about what the best move right now was, but they agreed in the end that it was best if they shared this information since it would give them a better idea of what they were looking for.

The location of the mana being released was the place that they were standing, only it didn’t seem like there was anything special about this place. After all, there wasn’t a single trace of mana in the air right now.

“Wait, look at this.” When someone said this, everyone immediately looked at them.

This was one of the leaders of the six groups, specifically the representative from the second prince’s group.

Once he had everyone’s attention, he pointed at the different reports and said, “It says that at different times, there was mana that was released from the ground. The one thing in common is that the mana always came from out of the ground.”

When he said this, everyone looked at the ground that was beneath them.

Then without a single word, all of them started pulling out tools that they used on that ground. They all started digging without a single word being said, almost as if they were possessed by something.

However, it seemed that this was the right decision.

After digging for a bit, they could feel the mana that was being released.

It had been stuck under a thick layer of dirt which had stopped it from leaking out.

However, they could tell that it had been built up for a while with how dense it was.

At the same time, they knew that there had to be something down here that was making the mana burst out like in the reports that they received.

So that should mean that they were in the right place.

But none of that mattered.

They continued digging deeper into the ground even though they could see that there were some magic crystals that formed in the dirt. This was all because of the dense mana that had gathered here, which had formed these crystals.

Only right now for them, these crystals were nothing more than a pittance.

The thing that mattered the most was what was under the ground, releasing all of this mana.

If they could find the source, there was no doubt that it would be something special.

After digging for a while, they finally found the source.

Though when they found it, it certainly wasn’t what they had been expecting to find since this place was just a hole. However, there was no ignoring the mana that was leaking out from this hole which showed that there was something capable of releasing this mana inside.

As for what that thing was, they had no idea.

They just knew that this was something that they wanted for themselves.

Once the hole had been revealed, everyone looked at each other as if they were wary of each other. They seemed like they were afraid that someone would make a move now that the entrance had been revealed.

However, they came to a silent agreement in the end.

“We’ll go forward together.”

It was that they recognized that there was no telling what was in this hole, so there was no telling what danger was waiting for them. Instead of going in alone, it was best if they went together to make sure that there would be shields if there was anything dangerous here.

After slowly heading down this cave for a bit, they were surprised to find that this place opened up completely.
