“It’s time to bring this place down.”

Lin Fan was caught off guard when Haku said this.

He couldn’t help looking at her with a confused look before asking, “Why are you destroying this place? Is there anything to gain from destroying it now instead of just bringing everything away so they don’t get anything?”

“Who said that we’re not taking the things away? I meant that we’re destroying the cultivation ruins itself.” Haku said as if it was a natural thing.

Well, Lin Fan had thought that as well, but there was no telling with Haku.

Still, he had to ask, “But why bring it down now?”

Haku just simply said, “It’s served its purpose, so there’s no need to keep it here any longer. In fact, it would actually be worse for us to leave this place here instead of bringing it down.”

Lin Fan still looked confused when he heard this, but Haku didn’t seem like she was keen on explaining.

So in the end, the only thing that Lin Fan could do was collect all of the things that he had used to create this cultivation ruins before Haku brought this place down.

Though after gathering it, Haku came forward with one hand raised.

“They’re finally fighting?” Lin Fan asked in a shocked voice when he heard this report.

The look on his face was as if he couldn’t understand what was happening.

That was because what the report was about was just too shocking for him to accept.

Even if this was their goal in the first place, Lin Fan had thought that it would take a long time for them to achieve this goal. After all, there was a reason why there had been a stalemate between the different factions all this time.

It wasn’t as if they were that willing to fight against each other since there was no guarantee that they would win.

Haku acted like she wasn’t surprised by this at all.

In the end, it was Rokuko asking why this was the case that Haku explained.

“They’re afraid of the person that is hiding behind the shadows, picking them off one by one.”

“You mean us?” Rokuko asked in a confused voice.

With a nod, Haku said, “That’s right. They’ve already lost two groups to this rumour and there’s no doubt that they sent someone else to check out the place where those two groups disappeared. Since they couldn’t find anything, they knew that this had to be some kind of plot against them.”

Pointing at the map that came with the report, Haku said, “You can see how they’re avoiding the area that the rumour was in. It’s clear that they’re trying to avoid losing more of their forces trying to figure out what this is. If they lose too many of their forces, they might not even be able to hold onto the Kalos Empire.”

The rest was simple to figure out.

They were afraid of Haku’s plans, so they decided to gain the power of the Kalos Empire before they completely ran out of power.

At the same time, there was something else that gave them the confidence to do this.

It was the weapons and other things that Haku had sent to the six factions that bolstered their strength. It made them more confident that they would be able to win against the other factions.

With a smile on her face, Haku said, “The only thing that’s left to do is to watch them destroy themselves.”

Rokuko nodded to show that she understood, but then she added, “Then why did you bring down cultivation ruins? If you had left that, wouldn’t that have caused more problems for them if that was still there?”

“It’s simply because it’s gone that there’s more pressure on them. By not leaving a single trace, it makes them even more worried that there will be someone coming from behind them. It helped push them into fighting against each other.” Haku said with a sly smile on her face.

“Oh.” That was all Rokuko said before she suddenly changed the topic by saying, “I quite liked the things that were in the cultivation ruins.”

“Is that so?” Haku asked in a surprised voice before waving her hand at one of her subordinates.

That subordinate seemed to hesitate for a few seconds, but they still went off when Haku glared at them. Once Haku glared at them, they really didn’t have a choice but to follow her orders.

It didn’t take long for them to come back with the Storage Ring.

Haku took it and happily handed it over to Rokuko before saying, “Since you like it, then it’s yours.” But after thinking about it, she added, “We’ve already used some of the things that are in this ring, so let me get you a few more things to make up for it.”

Her subordinates couldn’t help shaking their heads with bitter looks on their faces, but they still went to follow her orders.

In the end, there were more things that were brought over for Rokuko to take.

Even though she seemed like she didn’t want them, Haku forced them onto her in the end. It was as if she wouldn’t take back the things that she gave to others.

After she gave these things over to Rokuko, she also looked at Lin Fan with a smug smile.
